This is the AC/DC that we all fell in love with as kids. Bon's voice with the blues licks just go together like peanut butter and jelly, Jack and Coke.......love it.
This was the AC/DC I grew up with... album to album we rocked out with them. My best friend found them in early 76... and we couldn't get enough. The later stuff is good, but Bon Scott on lead vocals was always the best AC/DC.
Ah, one of AC/DC's hidden gems... you guys have reached full rabbit-hole now. This is a rarely heard tune that really showcases Bon Scott's powerhouse vocals. Love you guys for playing this!
Not even close to the end of the rabbit hole. Not til I hear Bad Boy Boogie, Night Prowler, Basically anything from Powerage........ Too much to mention.
Very long time since I last heard this, and getting over a dose of the winter lurgy it's just what I needed! I always liked it from the first time I heard it way back in late February 1980,but it sounds even better now than before. This was the song that ACDC had out as a single in the UK when Bon Scott met his extremely premature end.
I think its a crime that reactors ration out their AC/DC exposure. How someone can not binge dive into their catalogue of at least 2 dozen Grade A bangers is beyond me, How do you listen to something that just causes your brain to lurch in such ecstasy and not demand more. These boys were the musical equivalent of a drug.
Exactly. That's how my body acts when I hear them. Even woke up a friend, cause I was tap my foot to their song on the radio in my sleep. Die hard hooked me bad.
Whole Lotta Rosie, Jailbreak, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Big Balls, and Let There Be Rock need to be reacted to with Bon Scott on vocals!!!!❤❤❤
This has to be one of the most underated AC/DC songs out there. Itis my all time favorite, right there with Hell or High Water and Shake your Foundations. Pure, clean rock from early AC/DC, the way I like it.
This song has my favorite lyric Bon Scott ever wrote: "She had the face of an angel/smiling with sin/the body of Venus with arms." Such a snakey, swampy, delicious riff... I don't think Angus ever used that tone on any other song.
Highway To Hell... What a great album. Walk All Over You is my favourite track from this classic album. Having seen them live I have to admit that these guys are the best rock and roll band ever to grace the planet.
If you didn't know Bon essential picked him himself he went to a bar where Brian was singing and went back and told the band about this awesome performance
Let's not forget the role the great Mutt Lange (Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, Heart, Shania Twain) played as a producer on this album. He really brought the ACDC sound to the next level.
A great song from a great album 👍👍. Check out their song, "Night Prowler." Bluesy, mysterious, a whole vibe. Like you alluded to, AC/DC is the very definition of ROCK! 💯👍⚡⚡🔥
Yes, probably the best bluesy, rock and gritty song on the entire album. Absolutely OUTSTANDING ..... HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do this one. You won't be sorry, I promise!!!!!!!
My absolute favorite song by these dudes this whole album is front to back magic so sad that bon didn't get to see the success that this record gave them
This is one of those songs that was about as close as they came to a commercial pop rock song, yet it still had that dirty blues punk vibe to it. Check out "Let Me Put My Love Into You" with Brian Johnson on vocals. A perfect companion piece to this song.
I'm so glad you two both loved what is to me the single greatest line and delivery I've ever heard. "Just a dirty little touch". So greasy, naughty, hilarious, and just pure Bon Scott.
Amber, I agree completely. AC/DC is the purest form, the dictionary definition of rock & roll. There are bands with broader and deeper range and skill, like Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin, but Bon Scott AC/DC is the perfect stripped-down distillation of R&R.
This is my favourite AC/DC song. Highway to Hell was the album which made them famous in countries other than here at home in Australia. "Get it Hot" is another unbelievable good rockin' track from Highway. 1970's AC/DC were young and raw and crazy. Seeing them in pubs in Australia was something you'd never forget. All of us Aussie rockers are very, very proud of them. Sadly, this was Bon's last album. He died about a year after this album came out. But then came Brian and "Back in Black.".......
AC/DC has never made a bad song. Literally scroll through any song they've ever made, and you'll love it. My personal favorites recently have been Dog Eat Dog, Can I Sit Next to You Girl, and Overdose. All Bon Scott era
I am so happy that you love ACDC! It would be so sad if folks your age missed out the glorious music of my generation. I think we lived with so much passion because the times we were living in demanded it, and we knew the possibilities of no tomorrow were very real. I hope this generation will be able to capture all their passion of this time in their music and song like we did. I think you all are helping make that happen, by showing how wonderful a diverse music world we live in. I don't think they can match our coolness, but they can try.
If you went to a live concert back in the day, the girls all dressed in sexy versions of school uniform. You had ringing in the ears the day after from the volume of the band. It is pure raw rock.
Where I lived, guys didn't bring girlfriends to AC/DC concerts. Some concerts were good for both sexes, but AC/DC was a 98% male crowd. It just wasn't wise to bring a girl you cared about there because you couldn't ensure her safety. In fact, having her there endangered yours because you'd have to protect and defend her. My hearing never recovered from all my 80's heavy metal concerts.
Where I lived the crowd was mixed. At Highway tour we could smoke weed and sneak in liquor bottles and we never saw nor felt threatened for safety. You'd see a few ppl passed out in the hallways but no fights. Call it naive but it was ALL about the music, not the crowd. Cheers!!!
@@fionnmaccumhaill3257I and my group of girl friends, all 14yr and 15 yr old little middle class girls (who never did anything naughty at these concerts except drink alcohol) went to,see them in Melbourne so many times in the mid 70’s. Never had any trouble with disrespectful guys, never got groped (which did happen when I saw Icehouse and The Angels later in life) the guys at the gigs were always complete gentleman. We were not groupies, never tried to go backstage as we had some idea of what might have gone on, and it was just not our thing. We may have dressed a little provocatively, but not too much or our parents wouldn’t have let us out of the house. Some of the best times of my life seeing AC/DC with Bon. Have never wanted to see them without him.
This was the best AC/DC era. They became famous and their music was much harder (and meant to make Angel’s like Amber blush). “Girls got Rythum” another must
A really cool AC DC song no one has reacted to is The Razers Edge, title track from the album Thunderstruck is on. It's a fantastic song, Great Bryan Johnson vocals, cool mysterious guitar riff. Cool song!
Thank you for diving back into AC/DC! Enjoyed your reaction as always!! While it wasn't their biggest hit (or even a small one) one day when you want to laugh and smile you need to check out this band singing "Big Balls"!! You will love it, seriously!!
I've always thought the best thing on the album is the transition from the last notes of Highway to Hell into the beginning of Girls Got Rhythm. It annoys me every time Highway to Hell ends on the radio and then they play something else. NO, just let it go.
This album came out when I was 18 and I'm 61 now ! Damn times flying ! I still have it on vinyl and cassette and CD ! This is one of those albums that you put it on and leave it alone ! Every song is a Banger !
Thank you for playing one of my favorite AC/DC songs. I've been a fan all my life! If you liked that one you should check out Love at Frist Feel, Night Prowler, and Ride On. Highway to Hell was one of their greatest albums. Thanks for the great reaction and great music. Hope you have a Blessed day!
Bon Scott is awesome, but I am always so impressed with Angus! I think live, he is the true stare with his amazing guitar talent and his amazing antics that he can perform while playing! That to me is so spectacular!🔥🔥🔥 It always gets me when I watch their concert videos!😲 He really goes nuts!! 🎸 So fun listening to you guys react to this older music, glad you are having fun too!!👏👏❤️👏❤️
For AC/DC, I'd like to recommend "Can I Sit Next To You, Girl?" I'd suggest "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "The Jack", but they're not exactly family-friendly. Lol
My senior year of high school... February. I'll never forget that day. I pull into the parking lot by auto shop, and notice a few groups of girls crying. I learned shortly after we'd lost Bon. The whole school knew by lunch.. that day absolutely _sucked._ It was all over FM radio. Bon and AC/DC was everywhere in our high school lives. Cruising on Friday and Saturday nights. House parties. AC/DC was part of most everyone's lives. Then the month after graduation... July. Back in Black hits.... and we couldn't believe it. They were _BACK._ And doing Bon proud. Back in Black was everywhere that summer, and we celebrated Bons memory every chance we got.
I was so fortunate to see them on this last tour of support of this album before Bon died. They opened for UFO who was one of my favorite bands at Massey Hall in Toronto and they blew UFO right off stage, just incredible show. We sat on the first balcony and Angus came through the crowd and up to our row and riffed right in front of us. The most explosive show I had ever been to. My only words at the time was TNT I'm dynamite LOL. On added note this one of my favorite albums of the 70's and my favorite of AC DC's, Bon was a King
No damn way you guys did this track!!!! My goodness… This is hands down THEE best of Bon Scott- and my favorite track from AC/DC…. And I know em All. This song flies under the radar for sure… It has been with me for over 40 years !!! Music can be a timeline of your life guys- and this track is on every device I own!!! 🙏🙏take care out there
Jay & Amber, you'll love their classic "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"!!! Hopefully they weren't blocked.taken down if you did them. You did Joan Jett's cover of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap".
This has always been my absolute favoutite AC/DC song. Thanks to my older brother, i started listening to them when i was 6! One of the most amazing live shows I've ever witnessed.
I missed out on Bon Scott's being in the band but in 1980 at the Frankfurt Festhalle, from upstairs overlooking the stage I was able to witness Angus and the rest of them with Brian singing. For2+ hours I saw Angus bounce all over, even one point you could still hear him playing, then a moving group of people from the back of the arena with Brian carrying Angus on his shoulders all the way back to the stage and never missed a lick, and yes, the crowd went wild. I saw them again in Atlanta for the Those About To Rock tour and their energy level was just as high
AC/ DC was my first live concert with opening acts Point Blank and Molly Hatchet. It was the last time they performed in Charlotte, NC with Bon Scott before he pasted. What a way to start my love of live concerts.
Appreciate that you are picking up on the original AC/DC. First saw them in Sheffield England in 1978, year before Bon died. Cost like a buck to get in. Best live band ever…
THANK YOU!!!! This is my absolute favorite AC/DC song, and I feel like it gets so overlooked by everyone. I am soooo glad y'all decided to do a well deserved reaction to this banger. Love you guys!
"She had the face of an angel smiling with sin, the body of Venus with arms. Dealing with danger, stoking white skin, like a thunder and lightening storm" What a way to describe a woman and one of my favorite pieces of art in any form
I'm so glad people are still enjoying AC/DC. I've seen them in concert about 5 or 6 times but I never got to see them with Bon Scott, I wish he lived long enough for me to see him, well if I had a wish I would wish he didn't die. Anyway, AC/DC is hands down the epitome of rock!!🤘
I was 19 when this came out, stationed on my ship in San Diego when all of my free time was spent at Ocean Beach, going to concerts, smokin', snortin', drinkin' & trippin' my ass off. The evening this show was on, a shipmate & myself split a litre bottle of Jack & dropped 5 hits of blotter! Man we were soooo stoked for this album; to this day it still rates as one of the baddest ever recorded and will live in my memory forever! Ahhh, the days of mispent youth were wonderful.
Great reaction! Before I ran off to medical school I had crazy dreams about being a rockstar, and my band covered this song. Would always blow the roof off of parties. But of course, no one can ever deliver it like the legend, Bon Scott’s AC/DC. May he rest in peace. ROCK ON🤘
One of Angus' less appreciated talents is how tasteful he can be in his lead playing. Sometimes less is more, Angus can play a face melting solo with zero shred.
That whole Highway to Hell album has one BANGER after another! I've heard so many people say it, 1979 was an EPIC time for music.
I agree! They've gotta react to a personal fave, "If You Want Blood, You've Got It!"🔥
Yes. They need to react to every song on that album.
I was in tenth grade when this album came out loved our music.
I agree 100%, Highway to Hell is one of my favourite AC/DC albums of all time, every song is an absolute banger!! 😀 😀 🤘 🤘 🎸 🎸 🎸
I was in high school a senior in fact. Badass time for music.
I can never get enough of Malcolm's heavy riffs. He's one of the best rhythm guitar players EVER.
And songwriters ❤
Wish I could give 1000 thumbs up to your comment. Malcolm is my fav.
My favorite rocker of all time. R.I.P. Malcolm
He was a human metronome
The best!
65 yrs old and still listening to AC/DC every day! Rock &Roll!
How about the wonderful Karen Carpenter?!!
I'll be listening till I die. ✌❤

Absolutely! I loved listening to them in the 70's as a teenager! ❤❤
My dad gave me this cassette when I was 8 back in 85...first one..loves them since
You can’t listen to AC/DC without moving. Plus Bon era lyrics…
How was the line “Venus with arms” ??? 😂😂😂
Ça c'est sûr ET certain Bon Scott c'est le meilleur
Me too it was acdc or nothing 24 hrs a day! I drove my parents crazy.

I think it's more a case that the copyright Nazis flag many of their songs as soon as the reactions go up. That's why you see so few Eagles songs.
Exactly. That's how my body acts when I hear them. Even woke up a friend, cause I was tap my foot to their song on the radio in my sleep. Die hard hooked me bad.
It is crazy that they have probably 25+ songs that other bands could consider their "one hit wonder" if it was theirs
Maybe because it would kill their channel. Views are less than 1/5 what they used to be because they're doing way too much of this boring boomer rock.
@@hollandjwm They don't do enough "boomer rock." They need to get away from giving all the mediocrities of the last 20-30 years airplay.
Angus is the energizer bunny, he goes full blast from the beginning of the concert to the end, it's unreal.
That whole album is killer!!
I’ve had the privilege of seeing them times over the decades! Their energy was unbelievable and Angus NEVER stopped !!
That guitar work, especially towards the end, so good!
Also, this is one of the best underrated songs from AC/DC. It will never get old.
Agree on both counts 1000%
You shook me all night long for the bluesy nostalgia - in music not in lyrics 😂! - and Touch too much are my two favourites. Girls got rythm is third.
It's my favorite song from AC/DC. 2nd is Night Prowler, which is also very underrated.
Whole Lotta Rosie, Jailbreak, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Big Balls, and Let There Be Rock need to be reacted to with Bon Scott on vocals!!!!❤❤❤
Big balls for sure. If medium rare almost got her out of her chair big balls surely would.
Sin City , Gone Shooting , the whole Powerage album is excellent.
You guys are digging deep into the AC/DC inventory and still finding gold! What a song! Please keep digging ya’ll!
One of my favorite early AC/DC songs is LET THERE BE ROCK. The mischievous grin on Bon's face says it all!
That is their best album. Every song is perfect.
The video with Bonn at the pulpit was way ahead of its time too.
Whole lotta Rosie live with Malcolm and Angus throwing riffs at one another in an ecstatic guitar battle is one of my favourites of all times! Epic.

Hell or High Water and Shake your fountains are 2 of my favorites!
One of my favorite songs to play rhythm guitar to. Big open chords you get to hit really hard.
This song has my favorite lyric Bon Scott ever wrote:
"She had the face of an angel/smiling with sin/the body of Venus with arms."
Such a snakey, swampy, delicious riff... I don't think Angus ever used that tone on any other song.
Followed by “she wanted it hard, she wanted it fast, she wanted it done medium rare”
My favourite band of all time with my fave lead singer. Bon was the bomb!!!
Vous n'êtes pas seul Bon Scott c'est 'une icone
Highway To Hell... What a great album. Walk All Over You is my favourite track from this classic album. Having seen them live I have to admit that these guys are the best rock and roll band ever to grace the planet.
I agree, Walk All Over You is 100% JAM!
I love both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. Don’t forget, Brian Johnson basically saved AC/DC, and he was essentially Bon Scott’s handpicked successor.
True.... and they couldn't have found a better replacement for him.
Bon is by far my preferred singer, but Thunderstruck would have to be AC/DC's best song.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is my favorite.
Touch Too Much is beyond the shadow of a doubt my favorite AC/DC song.
Definitely my favorite of the Bon Scott era although there are many contenders. He wasn't the AC or the DC but the ⚡ in between!! RIP

A great song from a great album 👍👍. Check out their song, "Night Prowler." Bluesy, mysterious, a whole vibe. Like you alluded to, AC/DC is the very definition of ROCK! 💯👍⚡⚡🔥

I'm a Bon Scott girl. I like Brian but he just doesn't compare for me.

Bon Scott had the attitude to match the vocals, a true legend

Jay & Amber, you'll love their classic "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"!!! Hopefully they weren't blocked.taken down if you did them.
You did Joan Jett's cover of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap".
This has always been my absolute favoutite AC/DC song. Thanks to my older brother, i started listening to them when i was 6!
One of the most amazing live shows I've ever witnessed.
Aww, yes the real AC/DC Bon Scott . Great choice .. Enjoy your evening Amber & Jay and Kiddos
My absolute favorite AC/DC song of all time. This tune is so nasty cool! Bon kills it.
Great song
The underrated tune by AC DC. Along with "Overdose", "Live Wire" and the all-time great love song "Walk All over You"
Please do “down payment blues” by AC/CD
Love these "old AC/DC ... LEGENDARY.. this was my introduction to AC/DC at a field party...
Definitely in my top 3 faves of ACDC
Love the song, love the reaction and the line, "like a hand in a velvet glove" is something any guy can immediately relate to.
This one is my absolute FAVORITE of AC/DC's song catalog! Thanks for playing it!!
I got to see Bon Scott with Ac/DC on their first US tour when the opened for Aerosmith - 1977
AC/ DC was my first live concert with opening acts Point Blank and Molly Hatchet. It was the last time they performed in Charlotte, NC with Bon Scott before he pasted. What a way to start my love of live concerts.
EVERY SONG ON HIGHWAY TO HELL IS A #1 SINGLE ( in my opinion). ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE🌟
Appreciate that you are picking up on the original AC/DC. First saw them in Sheffield England in 1978, year before Bon died. Cost like a buck to get in. Best live band ever…
Highway to Hell , banger after banger after banger from the best AC/DC line up ever!!!
THANK YOU!!!! This is my absolute favorite AC/DC song, and I feel like it gets so overlooked by everyone. I am soooo glad y'all decided to do a well deserved reaction to this banger. Love you guys!
Best line EVER "her body a Venus with arms", now we all know exactly how she was built.
"She had the face of an angel smiling with sin, the body of Venus with arms. Dealing with danger, stoking white skin, like a thunder and lightening storm"
What a way to describe a woman and one of my favorite pieces of art in any form
The first Ac Dc Song I heard was "Let there be Rock" and this is still my favorite Song for almost 50 Years. Rock in Peace Bon and Malcolm.
The greatest cut ever laid down on tape!
This is, IMO, going away AC/DC's best song, and possibly one of the best songs in all of rock and roll. It's perfectly crafted.
One of my all time favorite AC/DC songs! Thanks guys
I was about 10 when I first heard this…..listened to them almost everyday 30 years later & this is the song that started it all for me 🎸
I'm so glad people are still enjoying AC/DC.
ROCK ON🤘
I was lucky enough to see them on this album tour at the Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Fl. I was 15. 😊 This is still my fav AC/DC album!!
My favorite AC/DC song of all time. I ❤ Bon Scott 🤘
One of Angus' less appreciated talents is how tasteful he can be in his lead playing. Sometimes less is more, Angus can play a face melting solo with zero shred.
