Just want to say this video was fantastic! I changed my daughter’s 2008 jeep commander radiator water pump and thermostat and this video really helped me get going. Even if this goes unnoticed I wanted you to know how much this helped me.

Good job, very helpful. The only thing that you did not mention is to use the proper antifreeze for these engines which is HOAT type, easiest to find and cheapest is Zerex G-50

Like Brian Ford, I have the 5.7 and am contemplating the radiator switch. I’ve seen a thing or two about that procedure, but nothing showing the details as clearly as you have here. Also I appreciate your tips about tools to use if you don’t have what the pros use. Great work.

Great video. I watched this and was pretty enthusiastic about changing mine. I have a 2008 with the 5.7L. It has an hydraulic cooling fan instead of electric and it's bigger. The power steering fluid also runs thru a good sized pump that's mounted on the fan shroud. Why on Earth do this?!

Brian Ford Thank You! I know right?! Cars! They definitely provide a challenge but I’m thankful people put videos up too or else I wouldn’t know much on how to do car fixes either haha
