ordered mine looks pretty good
Hi, yes we think they are going to be very popular.
Much nicer looking menu finally from Hikmicro.
We agree it is really slick and the display is lovely to use!
Useful information as always. Mines on order. Can I ask what height mounts you have there bud. Thanks.
Hi, high or medium will be the best to give you good clearance for. the barrel and prevent IR splash back from the mod.
Hi Mark,
What is the adaptor you use for mounting your IR illuminator?
Wicked Lights Gen 4
Hi Mark saw you at the shooting show today on Scott stand . What IR did you use when you tested the Hik Alpex LRF 4K day/night vision scope ?
hi, it was the solaris or the pair x
Could I ask which u would prefer night or thermal thanks
Hi, thanks for the comment each device has its own merits. NV is best for 100% ID but thermal keeps you 100% covert.
Thanks for ur comment
Hi what quick release mount are you using
Sportsmatch QD
Pleased you asked that. Thank you
Are the mounts medium or high I wonder 🤔
@@TheNightVisionShow - are the Sportsmatch mounts high or medium ?
@@brianeke2586 we use high mounts on the Alpex
Why is the Pip not in line with the main screen?
We will ask Hikmicro and find out, the same is visible on some other brands also, but will find out for you.
@@TheNightVisionShow thanks. I have had the Pulsar C50 and currently use a Thermion, none of which have this issue. It’s not a big deal but would be slightly annoying 👍
Great thing about Hikmicro & one of the reasons Ive started using their products is they listen to their customers. If this is raised with them they will address it!
@@davrobhow We totally agree!
i use pip all the time with the pard 008lrf. but for the clarity of this unit and easy zoom, i may go back to not worrying about it. Oh, that's if i were to buy one one day. so far, very impressive upgrade. but, the built in ir on the pard is a massive advantage for me. If i see a fox in my paddock, it's very quick to grab rifle out of safe, through in mag, power up and away i go.
I watched another video and he said there's jo bullet weight input for the calculator ?? Which sounds daft.
Hi, yes the data fields are MPS, BC, Scope height in MM.
Similar to the Burris eliminator?
What is the body made of?
Hi, Thanks for the comment glad you liked the video, its made from Magnesium alloy on the main tube,
@@TheNightVisionShow but not available in the US, correct?
What’s carrying your rifle on the right shoulder got to do with being left handed 😂 I’m right handed and carry my rifle on the right shoulder just like many other right handed people I know.
I have heard there is a big hype about this scope and been recommended to get one is it better than the pulsar c50 ?
Hi, Thanks for the comment, it don't make a difference what shoulder its carried on but on the old Alpex the menu button was on the side and it would get pressed depending what Side you sling your rifle.
Still no demo of the ballistic calculator working 🤦♂️
Our other video covers that here ua-cam.com/video/ydZVjduU5vs/v-deo.html
@@TheNightVisionShow unfortunately that doesn't show the ballistic calculator operating either.... need some targets out at various ranges and show the scope working.
What laser is that
hi its the Hikmicro Alpex 4K LRF. www.scottcountry.co.uk/products/hikmicro-alpex-lrf-4k-digital-night-vision-scope
I'm right handed but carry on the right shoulder, one of us strange, not sure which 😂
same, have we been doing it wrong all this time?
@@MRxr400 dunno, but I can't see myself changing.
Hi, any unwanted change can be avoided by turning the device on to standby before transiting.
@@TheNightVisionShow Thanks. To be honest I wasn't even commenting with regard to the scope button pressing, Just generally on carrying a rifle. Rips says he carries on the right as he's a lefty, but I'm RH and naturally carry on the right, just found it interesting. 👍
Scope looks great anyhow.
@@stephenoshea1166 thanks for the feedback
Problem with doing ads, you don’t shoot anything!
We do cut kill shots, but thats through choice. We are not a hunting channel but a product review channel.
You can find the full hunting video Rips did with this scope. It was put up a few days ago.
It will sell well but the video quality is not that inspiring that the viewfinder image is that good.
Hi, image quality is always degraded when shown on here its 100% better in the eye peace.
Ma una spiegazione in italiano
Dont leave it on when you're carrying ot then surely 🤔
Well...as the device takes a few seconds to boot up, often you need it to be there instantly for you.
Doesn't it have a quick press standby li,e the Stella ?@@TheNightVisionShow
