This video saved me... saved me time and money. I thought I bricked my mobo because I didn't know what a successful update looked like. Thank you so much. Great video!
Nice job. This is a genius update without a system interface (monitor, RAM, mouse and CPU) This information is not included in the "download" manual from ASUS. The manual does not show that USB port labelled as "BIOS". I am building a B650E-i with a 7 9700x and there is a tutorial that suggests that the B650E-i is 8000 and 9000 ready. I'm lucky that you are here.
hello , i've bought this board as well and now the latest bios is 3035 but after bios update i have white vga light on which i didn't have when i first booted , does anyone have same issue or is it just me who got a bad mobo ?
Hi, I have question about updating bios (I have strix b650e-e) I heard that you should update bios versions one by one, is it better or can you just install latest?
This is ridiculous. You can just update it from the GUI without all this fuss. The only time you should do this is if you wrecked your settings and can't boot.
Did you update the BIOS okay using this method? Amazon link for the latest price of this motherboard (commissions earned) ➡ geni.us/zktte

You're welcome :)
super useful thanks!
You're welcome!
By the way the Amazon ad title suggests that the B650E-i is 9000, 8000 ready. The ASUS B650E-i manual only says 7000 series.
This was incredibly helpful thank you so much!
super helpful for me as i just got the same motherboard and plan to perform the update prior to building
Thanks! Was about to return the motherboard. Flashing to DOS partition and FAT32 filesystem worked!
Brilliant :)

Even in 1080p this video looks 480p
Haha 😂
Had trouble updating in the bios itself but using flashback works
Thanks!
Very helpful! Do I have to do this with all the other downloads on the support page like LAN, wireless, sata, ect.?
No, you can download those drivers and install them through Windows.
Thanks a lot! Is it true do you need a USB 2.0 with 8/16GB? Regards
Any usb works

bios (I have strix b650e-e) I heard that you should update bios versions one by one, is it better or can you just install latest?
Thanks for your question. I just installed the latest version straight after taking the board out of its box. It worked fine for me!
Didn’t work for me. Light stays solid green.
Which one did you install, just got my MB @@twinswin1991
Dumb question, is it possible to update bios with computer already built? Assume so but couldn't get it to work... hm...
Sure, that is fine to do and it won't interfere with your files.
hi regarding the psu it's okey to use 1000W to update the bios tia?
Yes that is no problem. Sorry for late reply!
Thx
great

What about when it's flashed for 7000 series cpu and you have a 9000 and cant boot to GUI 😂
