This is my first comment on a UA-cam video ever. You are such an inspiration for all of us, be them sailors or not!! Of course, all crews of the Ocean Race make a tremendous effort. But you combine sportive top performance with a good purpose, great sea(wo)manship, brilliant information and, above all, true and credible team spirit!! Thank you so much for your unique insights into the beauty of nature, the beauty of sailing and the beauty of team work! I wish you all the best to win this leg and the whole Ocean Race. But you’re anyways already the No. 1 for me!

Absolut geniale Aufnahmen von Antoine dem Flugkapitän. So eine tolle Stimmung an Bord, man ist immer wieder begeistert von soviel Kameradschaft untereinander. Und man kann bei Kapitän Boris auch die Zufriedenheit erkennen. Das Boot in Fahrt ist auch galaktisch anzusehen. Wenn es mit Holcim auch eng wird, ich wünsche euch den Sieg so sehr. Ihr habt soviel gekämpft und gelitten bei dem Schaden am Mast. Also toi toi toi 🤗🤗🤗🤗⛵️🍀
Das mit dem runden Bug klappt ja super. Allerdings muß die Malizia aufpassen, daß sie nicht vor lauter ÜBER die Wellen gleiten, nicht ganz abhebt🚀⛵. Immer schön auf dem Teppich ähm Meer bleiben sonst bewahrheitet sich das mit dem Flightcaptain noch 😅 Schön wieder mehr von Boris zu sehen. 👍⛵
Es ist einfach sensationell so mit "dabei" zu sein. Das Konzept mit dem " Kameramann" , den ständigen Aufnahmen, und der coolen Crew. Ich liebe es. Als Hobbysegler ein bisschen mit erleben. Vor allem wenn man die "Enge" und das Fehlen der "Intimsphäre" von eigenen Törns kennt, ist Euer Teamspirit über so einen langen Zeitraum klasse! Weiter so. Und passt weiter so gut auf Euer so taffes und "starkes" Kücken auf 😊
Looks to be a tough race with holcim, but I hope you will come out victorious. You truly deserve to win this leg!!
It will be interesting how this one pans out.
I think Holcim will win this, they are so strong in almost all conditions but malizia will fight hard for first place, thats for sure.
Holcim is not possible to beat in that conditions.But I hope the best 🙂

You have done an incredible job holding off Holcim PRB for the last 24 hours, she is still 0.3 miles behind at 00:00 UTC. It must be really difficult and exhausting, keeping this pace with a crew member out of action. Hopefully you will benefit from the design of the boat as the winds build again. Excellent drone footage and interaction / camaraderie, between Boris and Antoine. I'll be cheering for you all the way to the finish. You have already won in my eyes. Stay Safe.

My God, the ability of that boat to not only handle but excel in those conditions is absolutely remarkable. The drone footage allows us to not only appreciate the technical marvel of Malizia but also offers proof of the design. Bravi to the entire team! As a lifetime sailor in my late 60s, I wouldn’t have believed a monohull could accomplish such performances with such grace.
And while the entire crew earned the roaring 40s trophy, we need to make something up for Antoine. He is the roaring 40s drone master. Tres magnifique!

Antoine: your editing is amazing!! From inside shots to outside drone footage and back again, I almost feel like I am there with you and Boris...how I wish!! The drone footage shows how well Malizia flies over the water much better than the other boats. Thank you for all you have done to document this epic leg. Wahnsinn!!! Malizia fliegt über die Wellen. Ich war in Hamburg als Malizia getauft wurde und hatte große Bedenken wegen des stumpfen Bug und „ platten“ Stevens. Wenn man damit bei über 20 Knoten in eine hohe Welle rauscht, fährt sie einen Stecher….. So dachte ich…..aber…Hab mich da wohl geirrt. Wunderschön wie sie in die Welle taucht, gleitet und mit der Nase wieder hochkommt., mit dem Heck weiter gleitet und sich auf dabei den Foils abstützt. Tolles Schiff, super Crew und Big B super Skipper. Das macht Spaß beim zuschauen.
Moin, einfach nur sehr geile Aufnahmen!!! Mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen!

Awesome footage. Reminded me of sailing an 18 foot skiff in Sydney harbour downwind with the kite up in a fresh southerly. Flying across waves on the edge of control, though far less stable than these guys, but God you feel alive.
That is the craziest most awesome drone footage I think I have ever seen of a racing yacht at full pelt. Massive respect, sail fast stay safe down there ⛵💨

This boat is a beast, nearly no nosedives and always up in speed. And those both captains (boat & fly) are just insane, congrats guys and thanks for these unbelievable moments.

The coverage from Malizia is incredible! Antoine is by far the best in his job to put together the videos and photos on board so the world outside is in close contact with the life aboard. It is an outstanding performance from the whole team to find the time and the words to let us see into their life aboard. The current possibilities with the drone and actually uploading the content from such a remote place is changing the whole insight in ocean racing. Something started by Alex Thomson and taken on by Boris. I'm looking forward to the next Vendee when Boris will be on his own. He must have learned a lot from Antoine over the last weeks ;-)

Antoine, I enjoy the shots you get when retrieving the drone, could you try to get a prolonged shot of SeaExplorer from the rear port quarter when the boat is at speed and the sun shining on it rather than into the sun? That would be epic. Thanks again for all your excellent coverage. You are the best.

So, after watching a lot of the drone footage from the fleet, it seems to me that SeaExplorer is riding the swell a lot better that the competition. Less nose dive emergency stops = first place. No doubt a combination of sailing skill from a tight team and an exceptional hull 🎉 Allez, Allez, Allez, Vite, Vite, Vite 💨💨💨💨
Absolutely incredible shots of Malizia surfing especially at about 4:40 into the video. Even I was hanging on and I am sitting at home. The infectious enthusiasm that Boris has always shown has been passed onto his brilliant crew. What a team!! Go Malizia!! 💪👏

Top notch on the video collages. From the dark, cold, white cap sea i ages with wind gusting to 52 k to gray an blue shots with Borrisvis milder sea states, simply marvelous. The contrast of gray to stern and brighter light and sunny patches to port. Plus the boat going through her paces with 2 sails in 25 to 35 k of wind. Surfing, breaching, submarining, dead stop, slow to accelerating. Culminating with the perfect shot, smiles and a day with rays of sunshine.
