Never thought that I get so invested, excited and emotional about an event and about people I know nothing about. And as an armchair sailor, I know nothing much about ocean sailing and racing. Alas, this has changed totally, and I am in awe of the whole Team Malizia, where people not just talk the talk but walk the walk, who have sacrificed, suffered, and who are living their dream. Simply brillant!!!!

Ihr liefert mit Abstand die besten Beiträge über euere Erlebnisse an Bord. Dabei kommt ihr als Team sehr fokussiert aber trotzdem so sympathisch und natürlich rüber. Euer podcast ist auch so toll zu hören. Die Beiträge der anderen Booten bringen einen ganz anderen Vibe rüber.

Das Antoine die wildesten Drohnenaufnahmen produziert, die ich mir persönlich überhaupt nur vorstellen kann, ist hinlänglich bekannt. Aus diesen Aufnahmen noch mehr heraus zu holen, als Antoine an Bord schon editiert hat, ist schwer vorstellbar. Doch Carstens Können, aus all dem Material, das ihm zur Verfügung steht, eine Background Dokumentation zu schaffen, ohne dass die persönlichen Aufnahmen der Teammitglieder dabei ins Hintertreffen geraten, ist phänomenal.
Die Mischung aus Renn Doku und persönlichem Hintergrund der verschiedenen Teammitglieder bringt uns Zuschauern / Fans Informationen und Emotionen, die uns noch enger ans Team rücken lassen. - Das ist ganz wunderbar.
Kap Horn ist nicht der sicherste und komfortabelste Platz der Welt, wie Holly sagte. Was bedeutet, dass man dort einiges wegstecken können muss, um bestehen zu können. Doch bricht es mir das Herz und ist nur schwer zu ertragen, Rosi dort so getroffen zu sehen. Da hilft es ihr hoffentlich sehr, zu wissen, dass lauter gute Menschen bei Ihr in der Situation sind und das Beste tun, was getan werden kann. - Ich hoffe, sie kommt gut aus dem Ganzen wieder raus und findet zu alter Form und Gesundheit zurück.
Und zuletzt noch an Boris: Macht nichts, wenn es jetzt fix geht, ins Ziel. Am besten, solange die Ziellinie noch neu ist. 😏

There is nothing more to say - all statements here are so true and so deserved by the best sailing team I have experienced so far. Especially the usage of all available technology - not only for sailing, but especially for communicating with all of us - is outstanding. Pairing this with a great team, great individuals as such and a great boat deserved the win of leg 3 at least. OUSTANDING JOB Malizians - go, go, go!

@@michirichi4704 Leg 1: 3 points, Leg 2: 2 points, Leg 3 scoring gate: 4 points, Leg 3 Itajaí: 5 points. 3+2+4+5=14 points in all. You`re right, for leg three there would be in your addition 9 points. But MLZ is then on the second place in the whole race, leaving 11th hour behind them.

Für mich, Nico erscheint nicht viel in den Videos, ist aber als Taktiker fast die wichtigste Person an Bord. Sehr ruhig, sehr sympathisch, ein wichtiger Teil des Super Malizia Teams!!

Thanks for another view on this team. Amazing how you understand to take us with you in this grueling areas of the world. Ten years ago offshore sailing was quite boring between start and finish, what a change has happened since then. We can also see the other teams learning and making use of these new possibilities.
