He was usually a voice of reason at this point however I think it was pretty obvious Olenna didn’t care about being on the winning team, she just wanted to cause as much pain for Cersei as she could before her inevitable death
When this aired, I had this thought: Daenerys has The Reach and Dorne with her Dothraki, Unsullied, a hundred ships of Ironborn against Euron's, and three dragons. That alone would put Cersei at a huge disadvantage against her own rule over the Westernlands (bankrupt), the Stormlands (no lord or army), and the Crownlands (after the uprising and downfall of the Faith Militant). Then add the North allied with the Vale and the Free Folk. Cersei should have been finished. But then season 7 and 8 taught me one thing; David and Dan, the show runners really can't showcase the complex intricacies of warring factions without George. Let alone the themes involving Ice and Fire.
At best, she's queen of two kingdoms. The Crownlands are nominally under her control as the capital and the Westerlands are sworn to House Lannister. The Stormlands are in turmoil with no one to rule them since House Baratheon is legally extinct and Dorne, the Reach, the Riverlands, the Vale and the North are all in open rebellion against her due to very legitimate grievances against either her personally or House Lannister in general.
“Enemies everywhere. We’re surrounded by traitors.” I don’t know if it’s already been said; Cersei is as wicked, if not, more wicked than the Mad King.
Jaime concluding their situation is fubar. But Cersei knows she has plot armor for a little while longer cuz the Night King does not speak and is not enough as a lone villain.
Jamie understood that they were all alone and surrounded by enemies they made while they lost the few small allies they had. Cersei refuses to accept defeat and thinks money magically makes her army stronger or she can just buy more useful allies. At beast she can take out some of her enemies which she did, but there was no winning for her.
Lol no. Tywin would never sound so dumb, he is the mastermind behind many plots that would even tremble Old Valyria. Cersei doesnt even have a tenth of Tywin intelligence.

Many rich and poor folks were killed in that explosion too. She has Danys armies and dragons coming for her. Then add the North allied with the Vale and the Free Folk.
Cersei should have been finished. But then season 7 and 8 taught me one thing; David and Dan, the show runners really can't showcase the complex intricacies of warring factions without George. Let alone the themes involving Ice and Fire.
In the end Cersei and the Night King will divvy up Westeros and nobody else will live happily ever after
wrong
"I'm the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms"
Any woman who must say I am the Queen is no true Queen.
Say what you want about the last two seasons, but you can’t say they didn’t have some great scenes
Jaime concluding their situation is fubar. But Cersei knows she has plot armor for a little while longer cuz the Night King does not speak and is not enough as a lone villain.
Grahf j
Fubar
Jamie understood that they were all alone and surrounded by enemies they made while they lost the few small allies they had. Cersei refuses to accept defeat and thinks money magically makes her army stronger or she can just buy more useful allies.
At beast she can take out some of her enemies which she did, but there was no winning for her.
With hindsight, Cersei had the last solid plotline of the show

cersei sounds more like his father here than ever
Lol no. Tywin would never sound so dumb, he is the mastermind behind many plots that would even tremble Old Valyria. Cersei doesnt even have a tenth of Tywin intelligence.
They sure as shit knew where shed make landfall. Why not set up an ambush? Dragons yea, but plan for that

Tywin said it himself that Cersei aint as smart as she thinks she is
She really said she's the queen of the seven kingdoms while they're at war with her??!! Is she BLIND????
Cersei would have been killed for blowing up the Sept. This writing is so ridiculous.
For sure, the entire country would be against her after that stunt. She wouldn't even last a day on the throne, someone would stab her and open the gates for Daenerys
@@Zeppelin616 yeah honestly. All the great houses are or should be against her. The powerful religious organisation that loved the Sept would be very against her. As well as the other sparrow supporters. The common folk would be (and already were seasons ago), many Lannister soldiers should be since she killed kevan Lannister. Many rich and poor folks were killed in that explosion too. She has Danys armies and dragons coming for her. As well as Dorne, Highgarden, the vale, the starks of winterfell, and the tullys all against her. Freys are dead. Arya the shapeshifting assassing was able to deal with them alone. Idk why she never easily killed cersei that way. The Tarlys were targaryen loyalists and should have sided with Dany. And like this episode said. There was no reason why any house would follow Cersei Lannister to war when winter just started and they're the losing side, and very unlikeable and not trustworthy. Makes no bloody sense. Euron probably would have raided kings landing rather than marry cersie. Show euron was cringe and just a plot device for Cersie.
Did everyone know it was her though?
@@stephenking5852 I don't think it was ever addressed in the show lol. But it should've been obvious since only she and Tommen were absent from the trial.
@@karikim6905 Perhaps people were frightened. A woman who blew up the sacred place of theirs without hesitation was really a frightening monster. They were too afraid to stand to her.
Cersei in the books is basically the future of Dany. Shes corrupt to the core, not nearly as smart as she thinks she is and a worse leader, making every decision a poor one. Everyone who read the books knows this and every character has spoken out about it. But they needed a final boss, so it had to be the incompetent
1:47 Tywin would be so proud of Cersei don't you think? She somehow made the war Joffrey started worse.
Surrounded by enemies and even made new ones such as with Dorne and Highgarden. She truly doesn't know what she's doing.
God cersei was truly useless. Tywin was right not to trust her.
And funny enough, Had Tywin listened, he may still be alive. Cersei didn't trust House Tyrell, understandably so. And she was right. A stronger eye on them saves Joffrey and, in turn, saves him.
Tywin knew Tyrion didn't kill Joffrey and he still went along with the bs. Tywin is a beast, but in this situation, he was the dummy.
@@janellejulianajoy The Tyrell's weren't the ones who brought a shoeless zealot into power, and they only turned their back on the kingdom after she blew up more than half of them in the church.
Definitely not the 'Last of us', that is a better written series...
Why is the comments full with idiots who talk nonsens about cersei ? Why these people search cersei scenes if they dont like her😅 is so lame.cersei is so hard not to like.she is the most beautiful, powerful, smartest women on the show.she didnt need dragons, she is so badass and cool just be being her.❤
Cope
She's dumber than my Sunday shit
She's not dumb, she's impulsive and extremely thin skinned. Regardless, no female antagonist lives up to her. It's why she's my favorite. She's a bitch and she owned it.
CERCEI SHOULD WIN! R.I.P her beautiful soul!
this might just be Cersei's cringiest scene yet
