    ABOUT Dr. Katie Woodley - The Natural Pet Doctor
    =====
    Dr. Katie is a small animal integrative veterinarian who developed a passion for natural medicine while I was living in New Zealand. Her vet career was lucky enough to begin in the beautiful country of New Zealand. She was able to see how living off the land by growing our own vegetables and raising our own animals was the way to live the healthiest versions of ourselves. Her pets were lucky to have lots of open space to run around in and were always at the beach or the river.
    When they moved back to the States five years ago, her husband, unfortunately, developed an autoimmune disease. As they researched natural medicine options for him to avoid the horrible side effects of the treatment options his doctors were providing him, Dr. Katie realized that she was doing a disservice to her animal patients by not offering these holistic options to them. She began down the integrative medicine route and has never been happier. Through nutrition, acupuncture, herbal medicine, essential oils, and supplements, every animal can achieve optimal health or feel their best even when they have a chronic illness or disease like cancer. She currently has a certification in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and is continuously learning about the other natural modalities and growing her knowledge base every day!
    She started this business to provide pet parents with more resources for natural medicine advice and care because we need to increase awareness of how amazing natural medicine truly is! Dr. Katie's mission is to ensure that all pet parents have access to herbal medicine, supplementation, and nutritional advice throughout their pet's lifetime. One of her greatest joys is the opportunity to collaborate with both pet parents and other veterinary professionals to ensure access to all available integrative options for pet health care.

    Dr Katie. I cook my dog‘s food they get fresh fresh spinach kale arugula quinoa broccoli salmon beef I don’t give it to them raw because I have to cook for four dogs and they eat a fresh meal every night. I have one dog that has gone to cancer and I just have this feeling it’s coming back second I haven’t seen your dog she’s only 12 but she has diabetes and has gone blind. My vet is not very helpful not many vets are helpful. if you could tell me if the food I am feeding her are good for her diabetes every two weeks she goes for a blood test only to find out they increase her insulin 2 to 3 mg on the needle. Is an ultra sound common.

    • @thenaturalpetdoctor
      @thenaturalpetdoctor  Рік тому

      Many vets have ultrasounds in their clinics, but it will depend on where you're at. If your pet's urinary concerns are not resolving, then you want to find a vet that will have this type of imaging to make sure other things aren't being missed, like I mentioned.

      @@10minutesandunder No. Culture is negative but Urinalisis is positive. I loose a beloved fur baby in Holy Sunday. My heart is in pieces because I have used dmannose, collodial silver, giving extra water with a dropper and in my country just conventional vets and I can’t give so many drugs because he is tiny. One vet prescribe Baytril and when I research about how da heroes rhst deig is I took him out of it. He is so young and I do r know why this UTI. He is inside. My floor is huge clean and no vet goes further. I’m just heartbroken 💔🙏🏼

    Hello. My dog had a rash a couple weeks ago. I was checking that it was going away and noticed she has dried blood around her vagina folds. Her only other symptom for a UTI is that she licks there and has a bit of fur in her stool. I made a vet appointment but they can’t see her for over a week. Is there anything I can do to naturally treat her while I wait for the appointment?

      Hey there I see she has not replied yet , please do try playing some healing frequencies that are on UA-cam , I use Sapien medicines channel as they have several healing frequencies specifically for animals , I also use Rife frequencies on 2 channels . One called RIFE FORCE and the other called SPOOKY2 ( do not be concerned that on spooky2 there is hardly any sound , it is still working but it is beyond humans hearing ability . Also check out a site called VETERINARY SECRETS , he has vids on natural treatments for dogs and cats . Love and hugs to you both 🤗♥️

      Oh also try out VOFF UGGLA whom has ISOCHRONIC TONES healing frequencies. Many of these frequencies are safe for animals but when in doubt just ask the channel provider for peace of mind ok hon , there is also REIKE RACHAEL and so many other channels , basically if you search for healing frequencies then put in what ever ailment you want healing , you will find many

    Is yellow urine an infection? My pup wants to just sleep also

    • @TL-ch1xd
      @TL-ch1xd Місяць тому

      I hope you went to a veterinarian asap. If the puppy just wants to sleep you should always consult a veterinarian ASAP.
      I so hope your puppy now is healthy and living it’s best life 🐶❤️.
      Never hesitate contacting a veterinarian if your suspect something is off with your beloved four legged friend. Never let your friend suffer. If you can’t afford to care for your dog hopefully there are organisations, churches etc. that can help, or someone can co-own the dog with you and share the costs. A true animal lover has pet insurance and needs to be able to pay for a veterinary.

    Hi! Can someone help me.
    1. My dog has been urinating frequently -- first urine is just normal amount. But after the first urine it's only small amount (maybe 6-7 times and she is like sitting trying to urinate for a moment)
    2. Blood in urine - this happened only twice. After the first urine with blood, my dog peed again but shows normal urine. I'm confused.
    3. She is just acting normal, very lively and happy. She eats normal. But i noticed that she is not drinking water than usual.
    PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN.
    We've been to the vet and she is currently under medication with antibiotic but still no improvement.

      A vet bill alone is more than the items she recommends. Also if someone takes on a pet, just like a child, I would hope they can afford to take care of them. I think people forget that. I might suggest doing research.

      No the problem is that vet bills are extremely inflated and completely unreasonable because they know the owners have no other choice and play on the owners emotions. Just like human doctor bills, vet bills are almost extortion. It's not that people don't do the research or don't want to pay to take care of their pets. It's that veterinarian s are extremely overpriced and then insurance is extremely difficult to get coverage or to get them to pay for those tests and procedures. Which let's be honest most those tests usually come back negative cuz they run so many and you end up spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing that the insurance won't actually cover.
