    This should be called how to maximize your bill to make this dish by using all premade processed prepackaged ingredients. It is definitely lazy man's and expensive. Might be cheaper to go to a restaurant.

    Having recently had chicken alfredo pizza, which was truly wonderful, I am absolutely going to make this! What a nice change of pace having local guests in on your show. I also love that you gave her room to shine instead of talking over her like some cooking show hosts. A splendid presentation, Jack. By the way, don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I had no idea there were no boil noodles either!.

    Looks great! If I may add something, if she had put the chicken broth into the jar of alfredo sauce instead of directly into the bowl of sauce, and shake it up, you could get every last bit of sauce out. No losing any sauce to the jar or having to get in there with a spoon. Just my two cents. Great recipe. I'm going to try this over the weekend.

      Floridakeys Diver flat rate box is $11.30. whether you order 1 or 6 jars it's the same. You buy one, then it's going to be expensive. You buy 6 you save. Nothing I can do. have to use flat rate box due to the sauce being so heavy.

      I sell on the internet all the time and shipping is very expensive. You would not believe it but a box of AIR that measures 13 x 13 x 13 to California from Georgia is $38.28 ON LINE price priority mail via the post office. NOT on line discount is $43.70. You read correctly, an EMPTY box is what I am talking about. It is the dimensions that kill you. Go over a cubic foot on a light weight box and you have had it.

  • @Kaboomboo
    @Kaboomboo 4 роки тому

    Either those no bake noodles are delicate as paper maché or she didn't let the lasagna rest long enough before slicing. Either way, those layers fell apart when she started plating. Lasagna always needs to rest for at least 15 minutes when it's done baking otherwise the layers will be compromised.

    Jars or alfredo sauce? Shop baked chicken? Noooooooo....... Well I guess this is why it's called the "Lazy Man's Alfredo Chicken Lasagna" it probably cost you at least 4 times to make it than to make it from fresh ingredients though.

      Sadochrist its a "lazy mans recipe" for a reason. Jack has done like a hundred "lazy mans recipes" where he takes shortcuts and makes something delicious the lazy way. The title of the recipe isnt "lasagne from scratch"

    • @lukejposadas
      @lukejposadas 8 років тому +2

      +Diana Romero you are a strange person, why comment with negativity, if you don't like it don't watch it or don't make it. Obviously you can make any modifications you wan't. If you don't want vegetables then don't add them, I personally wouldn't add the carrots but I think the broccoli would be amazing in this! As for the sauce you can surely substitute for your own sauce or you can doctor store bought sauce up like she kind of did. Of course you see in the title "lazy mans" lasagna meaning they are trying to make it as simple as possible...

      My thoughts exactly about the veggies they selected. I personally would have done mushroom, spinach and onion. And I completely agree home made is always best but this channel is more about convenience, he uses alot of canned and pre-made stuff in his recipes. Not my style either but to each their own.

    This is lazy, for sure. Jarred alfredo sauce is TERRIBLE. Homemade alfredo sauce is simple and quick to make and it tastes 1000 times better.
