You are so blessed! I stumbled upon her profile few months ago looking for a bread recipe. Now I refuse to try any other italian dish besides hers! I started following her on Instagram also
I miss my Nonna Ana...She said "Teresa you buy flower for me" so I bought her a beautiful Tulip ...she laughed so hard and say flower to make a bread...I realized flour...we laughed so hard.. those were our precious moments together

I just came across Grandma Gina. I’m so glad I found her! What a gem☺️ I bet everything she cooks is delicious 😋 Thank you grandma Gina for sharing with the world❤️
I'm crying, too, Jordyn.....I lose it when she tells the story of how she remembers her mother washing clothes in the river......then she sings.....from the heart.....then she herself tears up.....she feels the love.....thanks her God......She is my grandma through and through.......I love her as my own......I LOVE UA-cam. Merry Christmas, Jordyn ♡
My husband wakes me up this morning and tells me “You’re not dreaming, Gina’s back!” GREATEST NEWS EVER!!! Love you Nona Gina! So happy you’re back. So happy you’re son-in-law is back too!
I had a 80 year old grandma who would throw things on the stove and everything she made tasted delicious. The simplest things but it was magic. My grandma was from Jamaica but this Italian Nona reminds me of mine. Blessings to her. You can tell she loves cooking for her kids and grandkids.
I thonk making it out of love is the key ingredient tto amy meal tasting better. You can tell the difference when they enjoy cooking and doing it out of love verses not being that way or having an off day. Yes it helps if they already know how toncook good. But that other stuff makes it way better for some reason 😊.
I believe Gina is from the era of Italians who don't die until they want to. As long as she stays this active she will be here a long time. I'm sitting at her table in spirit and next to me is God, who blesses her food and the beautiful lady who made it.
Thank you for all your amazing recepies. My family love all your food so much. You are the Italian grandmother for our family in Australia. My family love your food and watching your videos. All your experience in Italian cooking is worth millions. My son 11 and my daughter 7 run to the phone when I play your videos before I cook. My daughter dances to the Italian music. You are a blessing.... God Bless Anna xx XxX
We all have a little bit of Italian 🇮🇹 in our hearts ❤️ I am from El Salvador, but I love Italian food, and I did her recipe, yummy 😋 thank you grandma Gina 🙏🏻🌹
I'm crying with kleenex all over my lap. You bring back so many memories with gramma making THE best dishes for us. When she was cooking she would sing praises really loud in the kitchen giving glory to God. She would ALWAYS have something ready for us. Miss her so much. Thank you Gina for your fine cooking.
I love grandma Gina❣️ I lost my grandma when I was 16.... I’m now 52... Grandma Gina is the closes I’ll get to having a grandma again So sweet and loves to cook for everyone ❣️ They don’t make grandmas like this no more🥰🙏🏻💝 God bless you grandma Gina:)
I was 7even when my Grandmother Lucy passed away. This is her way and spirit to comfort me, teach me and gives me the strength to be strong and go on. 11 when Mi Abuela Claudia passed too. I can relate.
I only speak English so I didn't understand a word but the emotion and the gusto with which she sang was so beautiful!! What a beautiful spirit she has!
So emotional. She loves her son-in-law! Thank you so much for preserving the food history. Gina is wonderful, thank you for sharing Gina's story, so important.
I know, you can see she's genuinely caring of her son in law you can see how much she loves him as she talks about him and the sound in her voice it's like she's talking about one of her own sons and her favorite
I'm not crying 😭😭 Thank You GranMa Gina. I somehow came across your YT channel and right at the start as doon as I heard your voice, i was glued, stuck in my seat, with tears of I don't know why, but my whole being felt at ease and calm... Yes I'm still not crying 😭😭 GranMa Gina, GranMaGina, GranMa Gina 🤗 You may never know how much YOU have helped and comforted me this morning 7/10/2021 @ 12:10pm
I remember, I was about three years old, my grandmother was still doing the laundry in a steel tub of water and she used a washboard. No washing machine back in the day. (And she had 14 children!) The water coming into the house was cold water only. If you wanted hot you had to make a fire in the stove first, heat the water and carry on from there. My auntie bought her a washing machine when she was able to do so. That was somewhere around 1970 or so. By then my grandparents were old, their children grown. My grandfather passed in 1970, aged 76. I think, we are very spoiled today with our household machines and gadgets. We have no real concept of how hard people like Gina or my grandparents, or even my own mother (now 84) had to work just to do their daily, basic chores. Thank you, Gina, for sharing and singing!
Ms Gina, I wish I could nominate you for the Nobel Peace Prize. I believe that if all the world leaders could gather in your kitchen, there would be peace! There is no better music than what is sung from the heart. God bless you and your family.
You gotta hold back tears reading comments here. Mama Gina is so loved with so many supporters. Bless you mama Gina you're truly one of a kind. Thank you fam for helping and sharing nonna Gina with the world! ❤
I just discovered Grandma on UA-cam. I was tired of politics. Love her heavy accent and her cooking. She makes me smile AND hungry. Love when she breaks into song. What a lovely lady. Bravo!
I cried too, my grandma passed away when I was a teen. my grandmother looked alot like Gina, especially when she started singing I just started crying.
You remind me so much of my grandmother to the point I started smiling and crying listening to you talk. I miss her so much. Please take care of your health, Mrs. Gina.
I love Italian people. They always make u feel so at home and welcomed. I grew up in a predominantly Italian neighborhood. My mom would send me to the corner store, yes very prevalent where I'm from, to pick up some of the homemade ravioli that the store owner's mother would make every day. She reminds me of her so much. That was back home in New Jersey where Italians always showed so much hospitality whether you were Italian or not, and we were not. Enjoy watching this channel so much.
"I put a boatload of cheese into the heavy cream sauce, but now that the pasta is on the serving platter, let's add some more cheese. Now, I'll serve myself a bowl, and add more cheese." I like the way you think, Gina 😄♥️
I love to hear you speak Italian. It brings me back to being a young girl. It's wonderful to watch you cook and listen to you speak in English and Italian. Thank you for doing these videos.
I am brown. My grandmother was brown. Even tho she was very different from grandma Gina. But watching her videos somehow she made me miss my grandma and now I’m crying. This is the reason all grandmas are truly a blessing. I hope you live a 100 more years granny. Keep making us good food and good smiles
Too bad this latest generation was raised to believe that elderly people have to earn their respect, so misguided. We were raised to respect your elders.
My son is a special needs child, and because of this beautiful soul I am teaching him Italiano. He now speaks and understands what I am saying to him in another language 💝
Watching you use the fork and the spoon to eat reminds me of my StepFather, always used both fork and spoon. Good memories. Thank you Ms. Gina! I used to love watching him cook and watching you cook gives me such peace. ❤🙏
What Italian people don't realize is that most of the American variations of traditional Italian recipes were invented by Italian immigrants themselves. Mediterranean ingredients couldn't be found in US at the time, or were just too expensive/different from the ones in Italy, so they had to invent new recipes using the ingredients that could be easily purchased in US. These recipes may not be traditionally Italian, but they are part of the Italian-American history and culture. So, even though it's rare to find fettuccine Alfredo here in Italy, I still respect this grandma and the love and effort she puts in here dishes.
Gli Italiani accettano con piacere le eventuali modifiche, a non spacciate ricette che sono icone della nostra cultura come tali. per noi e' un'offesa. Cabiate piuttosto nome e magari le proveremo anche noi. Rifletti prima di scrivere.
you are so right...my family came to Elise Island and then to NJ, some to Boston, some to NY some to Chicago. They all adapted to what ingredients they had to continue what they fed their families back home. Watch her early bread and past making videos...and when she shares her memories and sings, well, it's from her heart.
I adore you so much. They aren't enough Grandmas like this around. I love your singing and your rich Italian heritage. I feel like I'm in Italy with you.
I have to chuckle when she speaks Italian and English together. After living 30 years in Turkey I find myself doing the same. Bless you Nonna and Happy 2020!
He must be a great son in law that she has so much love for him. How sweet is that ❤️❤️ I came for the recipe and stayed for her beautiful and heartwarming personality
God bless you, wonderful Mother. All kids can attest to one thing. No one can cook as good as Mom You already won your son-in-law over. Home made noodles too, must taste wonderful! ♥️♥️
No kidding! When she was saying goodbye I looked at the time on video, about 4-5 min left. Then I thought, YEAH, the song is coming ! Not that I can understand it, just the joy she brings when singing...
I love her so much!! I had to watch a few of her videos to understand her super awesome thick Italian accent! But she’s awesome. She cooks with love! She cooks because she enjoys it and her family is obviously happy with the outcome. She’s so sweet. I really just want to reach through UA-cam n hug her!!! 🥰🥰😊😊 This is my favorite recipe from her. The Alfredo. I never liked Alfredo sauce. Ever!! I tried it at restaurants n friends n family’s houses. But, THIS!! RIGHT HERE. MOVE OVER VELVEETA. ITALIAN GRANDMAS STUFF IS LIKE HEAVEN! Rich, creamy, just damn perfect 👩🍳 ❤
She brought me to tears she reminds me of my abuelita whom passed away e few years ago loved my abuelita she also singed to us. Thank You for your blessings we need it at the moment and bless you!!!! Lucky son in law.
Gina. You remind me of my sweet grandmother Betty Laprotti. She came here from Italy in the 40's. She passed a few years ago. We miss her. You remind me of her so much. It gives me great joy to watch you cook these traditional recipes. I used to watch my grandmother cook for hours. You are indeed amazing. We love you...
That song at the end was so wholesome. Such a beautiful memory she shared with us. It made me cry to think about my great grandmother in Mexico who grew up on a ranch near a river and had her children on that ranch and my grandmother had her children (my father on that ranch) and they all washed their clothes in that river.
I love her and don't even know her. Watching her cook with so much simplicity, love, and thankfulness to God reminds me of my Southern grandmothers and takes me to a happy place. When I'm stressed, sad, or anxious I just watch my favorite Italian Nonna cook, sing, and give thanks.
I was stationed in Italy in the 90’s and she reminds me of my landlords mom. I couldn’t just pay my rent and leave, she always fed you and opened a bottle of home made wine (no label). My son was 3 at the time and he had to be with me or grandma wouldn’t take my money. She’d fawn over him something terrible. I miss that.
Oh my! She is so cute. I almost cry when she sang. God bless everyone for having people like her in their lives. Thank you so much for sharing a wonderful homemade recipe.
I’m retired and have made a few of Gina’s dishes including canning tomato sauces for my wife and I. They are so delicious. I even bought a pasta machine just like hers to make fresh pasta with. Gina, God Bless you for posting your recipes here.
@Cheryl Porter Vocal Coach 🕊️ FYI: Gina and you(Cheryl Porter), are the type of human beings that radiate happiness. Both of you always make me smile - big time! God bless both of you. 🕊️ 🕊️ 🕊️
Everyone that shows recipes is like that. She also says very very low flame and proceeds to put it on medium. Gordon Ramsey says a splash of olive oil and puts like half a cup. Most say things like it takes 5 mins to make but it's actually 45 minutes. Can never trust anything with recipes, really. At least, it's very hard to completely mess something up even with approximations.
this grandma Gina reminds me of my own grandma and I love to watch her because I miss my grandma and I miss my mom and watching. Gina is so beautiful. I love her. God bless you Gina for making a lot of people happy.
This is what I admire about her she did not put stuff that is questionable to eat it’s halal she made everything homemade no pork fats no wine no unnatural things ! I would to know how she made the pasta God bless her she is smart lady in her cooking !
Italian Grandma Gina is a blessing. I love watching her and I am blessed every time I watch her. May God continue to keep her well, happy, full of joy and blessed always.
You make me so desperately miss a family feel that I never really had when I’ve unfortunately had to raise myself in a lot of ways. Thank you for putting your love into your cooking and sharing it with us❤️you’re a blessing
5/1/24: I didn't understand a word she sang, but I enjoyed it thoroughly just the same. She's a sweet lady with a lot of spunk and energy, and I love and enjoy her cooking techniques. I made this dish today. God bless Mama Gina! 💖
She is so sweet. She reminds me of my mom. Although my mothers recipies were from Puerto Rico, she loves cooking for her family. My family loves italian food. May God bless her always.
Just came across this and couldn’t stop watching. What a beautiful lady. Lovely spirt in everything she does. I was raised by a wonderful grandmother, who passed away when I was eight. I remember as a youngster in Ethiopia my grandma taught me how to cook one of our main Ethiopian dishes. Now I’m a first time grandma to a beautiful little girl, who brings so much joy into my life. I plan to teach her also. I also love how much she adores her son- n -law. I too have been blessed with a wonderful son-n-law. May God continue to bless you and your family ❤️
Mama Gina you are such a beautiful lady , you have a wonderful heart your children and grandchildren are so lucky , I love all your dishes . Thank you so much for showing how to make all your wonderful receipes 🤗
I just adore listening to this wonderful Italian grandma and learning to cook those delicious dishes.its the singing and the love of her cooking that makes us love her so much.thank you Gina for your very happy cooking video.
Gina and family, thank you for sharing your recipes and your joy for cooking and life. Gina reminds me so much of my beloved grandmother who came from Potenza as a young girl and connected with her grandkids through her cooking and her stories. She had such an impact I have passed her joy along to my now young adult children. Your videos allow me to give my kids a view into what their great grandma Corizzo was Like and why she so influenced my life. Thank you for sharing! JCM
When you're sweet mother- in-law loves you enough to cook your favorite meal, sing you a song, and pray for your recovery.....you are really blessed!
Amen truely blessed in deed ....Amen

So true! ♡ That's the kind of mother-in-law I try to be.

That is so precious 💕💕
A real woman, a real mom, a real mother in law.. a real cook.. all with love ❤️.. we need more women like her !
Absolutely!
They were trained away!
Unlike all those other…fake…? Women?
@@goshujinsama666 yeah those AI women are seriously lacking in the “get in the kitchen and make me some pasta” department.
But apparently doesn't know the legitimate recipe for alfredo sauce.
Yum thank you
What a beautiful blessing Gina is. She has brought happy tears when she asked GOD to Bless America, and to bless the WORLD.❤
Grandmas like this, like mine, like yours, will never be born again 😭😭 Their whole life was just to be there for their family ❤️
This is something that the world can learn from in this fast paced technologically advanced world. Go back to the basics. Maybe there is hope for the world yet
This is amazing
😢😢😢
Damn bro that hit me so hard that is so true lol
NONNA!!!
I'm italian. When She sings at 14:32 I cry. I see my culture, my grand-mothers, my country... We called it "poesia".
My mother was 100%Sici and she used to sing when she cooked.
Poetry…
So do we Puerto Ricans, we love and treasure our elders. Love you Gina and God bless you.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉

Pretty sure I’d be fat.

no this is not a traditional dish among italians but I'm guessing she makes it for her in-law bc it's popular in the US
I don't understand a word you are singing, yet it touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes. I feel the love. You are such a blessing, sweet Lady.
OMG, I feel the same way....the Spirit of that song in her voice......wow,I had to listen to end

Exactly the same here. Tired of politics, love her accent, love her singing, love the care she puts into her cooking, all from scratch but simple!❤❤❤❤
I'm in love. I will forever think of Gina when I make Fettuccine Alfredo or when I need to feel a little more happiness that people like her exist.
Oh my goodness I agree!!! 🥰
How was it?
I don’t know why, i just automatically cry when i heard her sang, like she’s my own grandma and i felt like i love her so much

Gli Italiani accettano con piacere le eventuali modifiche, a non spacciate ricette che sono icone della nostra cultura come tali. per noi e' un'offesa. Cabiate piuttosto nome e magari le proveremo anche noi. Rifletti prima di scrivere.
It is not rare to fine fettuccine Alfredo in italy, It is just impossible
@@filippomatteini1475 True... 😢 only few restaurants make them.
Okay great, now keep that abomination in america, thanks
you are so right...my family came to Elise Island and then to NJ, some to Boston, some to NY some to Chicago. They all adapted to what ingredients they had to continue what they fed their families back home. Watch her early bread and past making videos...and when she shares her memories and sings, well, it's from her heart.
Words can’t describe how quickly you fall in love with this lady! She's the best! I also think she sings well!
I've been watching her nonstop for 6 hours now!!!🤯🤤😯
Hello Alma
She’s so precious. I miss my Italian grandma....she was in the kitchen all day long with her apron on. God bless you Gina
How sweet is that ❤️❤️
I came for the recipe and stayed for her beautiful and heartwarming personality
Hello kashmala, how're you?
God bless you, wonderful Mother.
All kids can attest to one thing.
No one can cook as good as Mom You already won your son-in-law over. Home made noodles too, must taste wonderful! ♥️♥️
She’s the most adorable, precious lady. God bless 🙏🏻❤️
Hello Bonnie, how're you?
My day just got brighter. Missed you. Not only a recipe but a song. Great day!
No kidding! When she was saying goodbye I looked at the time on video, about 4-5 min left. Then I thought, YEAH, the song is coming ! Not that I can understand it, just the joy she brings when singing...
Love her controversial yet confident stance on the correct amount pepper
Soma people don’t Lika the black peppa
My famila lika the black peppa
Lolll Yesss how Careful she is not to overdo it 💞 she's Adorable 😁
I love pepper! More Gina!!! ❤️
This is my favorite recipe from her.
We need some tshirts that say “justa lilla bit.”
Love her beautiful accent♥️
😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏
Hello Christina
awe... lol she is too cute
♥️♥️♥️💯
I’d like when she speaks Italian, she’s too cute and I love to watch her cook and sing...God bless her🥰
Hello Alejandra
I was stationed in
Italy in the 90’s and she reminds me of my landlords mom. I couldn’t just pay my rent and leave, she always fed you and opened a bottle of home made wine (no label). My son was 3
at the time and he had to be with me or grandma wouldn’t take my money. She’d fawn over him something terrible. I miss that.
WHat a wonderful story, thank you for sharing that!
SO DARLING!
I was stationed in Rota, Spain from 95-97, wish I would have went to or was station in Italy, although I did enjoy being in Spain
Hello Barbara
Hello Harley, how're you?
Yes! I’ve got the same pasta maker! Can’t wait to try it!
She's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Yes she is. Italians are very family oriented and she warms my heart🥰🥰🥰

My favorite Italian translation: “Liddle bah liddle” = “dump all of the cream at once.”
The French equivalent is... just a little splash of wine.
I thought the same lol
Everyone that shows recipes is like that. She also says very very low flame and proceeds to put it on medium. Gordon Ramsey says a splash of olive oil and puts like half a cup. Most say things like it takes 5 mins to make but it's actually 45 minutes. Can never trust anything with recipes, really. At least, it's very hard to completely mess something up even with approximations.
"2 shots of vodka"
haahahaha **loses patience and throws the whole cheese plate on the pan**
What a precious soul. . Thank you for gracing up with this blessing. I so miss my Nana.
she cooks with deep love .. this amazing lady is italian indeed.

this grandma Gina reminds me of my own grandma and I love to watch her because I miss my grandma and I miss my mom and watching. Gina is so beautiful. I love her. God bless you Gina for making a lot of people happy.
I love watching her, her recipes are great. I hope your family knows what a jewel they have. God bless.
Everyone has their own version of the recipe, but I knew I struck gold when I found a genuine Italian grandma
Meta Grave I had always put garlic in mine, I was surprised there’s no garlic in an authentic Italian recipe.
@@HandbagDiva No no garlic in the authentic recipe i've got a similar recipe but i replace the romano for parmesan and I add 2 egg yolks
She’s Just Great I just love her♥️
pinkyt67 Alfredo isn’t authentic Italian...no such thing of it in italy
@@francescacampo3964 You must not know why it's called Alfredo. A quick google search never hurts.

5/1/24: I didn't understand a word she sang, but I enjoyed it thoroughly just the same. She's a sweet lady with a lot of spunk and energy, and I love and enjoy her cooking techniques. I made this dish today. God bless Mama Gina! 💖
I love “Italian Grandma”. Her joy in the simple things and her love for life is contagious. Go Grandma Go! I send you my love and prayers.

One year ago you posted regarding this video. Did you leave her and are you 400 pounds?
God bless you and your grandma.
Very happy to see you back. I’m happy your son n law is well. I love to hear you talk Italian
When you sing I feel my grandmothers voices deep in my bones. Grazie Millie 🙏🙏
My Grazie's name is Millie just like yours. But mine is French. I wish I would of learned to speak French. I miss you grazie.

Your videos allow me to give my kids a view into what their great grandma Corizzo was
Like and why she so influenced my life. Thank you for sharing! JCM
