Would it be possible to make an opening (or at least have a vent) between the cabin and the truck bed like the Silverado / Avalanche design?
I would think the window could be replaced with one with a sliding mechanism or two like a Dodge Ram

Did you happen to notice whether there Is a way to pull out an object if it falls into the cavity where the tonneau cover is rolling into (right between the rear windshield and the back of the bed)? Where does it go to? and is there any easy access to that area?

Those cavities will be good storage areas for water tanks. And it should be very easy to install an auxiliary air compressor/tank for airing up tyres. A modified wheel arch could include a hidden air coupling at each wheel. Four 1 metre hoses would be significantly better than a single 10 metre one.

Can you do a video checking how much space there is between the sail casting that sits on top of the wheel well and the inner face of the outer panel?
