Are there any good hard mount or anchor points under the plastic? Like if you were to build something to go over the bed and want to Bolt it in or something?

Yes, there are 4 hard mount locations per side accessible through flip up converts. There are two stud posts in each mount location. All are accessible without removing anything. Two on the bed rails and 2 more per side on the rear roof top.
