*Disclaimer: Unfortunately, the UA-cam algorithm thrives on titles and thumbnails that could be perceived as clickbait. Although I find this particularly distasteful, as a means of reaching a new audience or encouraging my current audience to invest their time into my videos, I must work with the algorithm rather than against it. It should also be noted that the majority of my videos are based on audience suggestions. ~90% of my audience are women, therefore, the majority of videos are created to appeal to my dominant audience.
It must also be noted that although goals often vary amongst individuals, a lot of my opinions on movements are within the context of building muscle (hypertrophy) and therefore, should be considered with that in mind.

She never said she only ever works out at home! She was an elite athlete (likely training in gyms as well!) long before she was a UA-camr, so was ripped for a good while before she hit our screens.
You are so right about this Harry. To achieve a certain physic it tales work and a hell of alot of patience because muscles do take their time to grow. Caroline has admitted to be training for 20 years and has been IronMan race twice. Of course she is going to have this physique, also to conaider when you see she is quite petite in height

When it comes to her content, at least in my experience, she doesn’t ever feel patronizing which I appreciate. We just get to work. She’s straightforward and encouraging, and her content has helped me loads :) hope all is all for her!

Click bait, which is fine. I’ve consistently followed CG for 3 years now and I’m definitely in the best shape of my life. I am not able to lift as much as CG does and definitely not able to keep up with her reps with a near comparable weight, but I still get positive comments from girlfriends about my muscle tone. CG has been working out for years and I believe she is natural. But if she isn’t… I don’t really care. She has done a lot for me personally.
Give it more time. I’d argue I’ve reached a point where I can keep up with her for the most part
I personally think her natty status is questionable and I am a massive Caroline fan. I have her app and I have had great success using her workouts at home. Her positive personality, the fact that she doesn’t sexualise herself and that she is 100% fitness focussed with her output is very appealing to me. Natty or not wouldn’t change my opinions on her at all, still very interesting though.
Her content doesn't focus on food or body just workouts and thr workouts work so yeah doesn't matter to me either way
I agree that her status is questionable although she is quite petite and muscle may show up more on people our size. It doesn’t matter though since her workouts work and are effective.
i personally think she's natural. she's a former Iron man athlete if i remember correctly and barely 5'3, so muscle is obv gonna be easier to build up to a decent size when you're petite.

I have been working out with Caroline for 2 years, although I don't, and will never look like her, my body definitely has more definition and I couldn't be happier. She is definitely a Natural beauty, both inside and out. Thanks Harry!
i'm a guy and i do Caroline's workouts from time to time and let me tell you: that woman WORKS. i almost always feel like i got my ass kicked after her workouts (in a good way of course). it never crossed my mind whether or not she was on something. her workouts can be rough, so i see why she looks the way she looks.
I agree! I use to do body building and then I had a child found Caroline and man she kicks those work outs for sure!
I really like her. I wasn't aware she had ever claimed to be natty. She's clearly super focused, but i wouldn't fall over if she wasn't 100% natty. But i also don't care: she's non condescending and very personable. Love you guys 💜
I agree with you Harry. Plus, people that say you can't achieve that with home workouts, they have not done her workouts. Caroline lifts 170 pounds for instance on hip thrusts. She has access to heavy weights, obviously. I love her, I pay for her app and it is so worth it. She does not come across as a dishonest person at all. Her workouts have changed my life. Since doing her home workouts, I get a ton of comments on my arms and my muscle that I have been able to put on at 46 years old, just doing home workouts (though I will say I genetically put on muscle very easily and I was a dancer)

Why would she take performance enhancing drugs to achieve that? I just started lifting and it took me a few months to get there. I lift 187 lb on hip thrusts. Taking drugs to get there would be like having a stomach reduction to lose 4 pounds of weight 😂

I've been working out with Caroline, albeit off and on, for a couple years. Haven't been too consistent with diet. Look NOTHING like her.
But I have a friend who also started training like CG 2 years ago, also started running marathons and now iron Man and looks exactly like Caroline, and is natural. It's possible. But takes AN INSANE AMOUNT OF WORK
I mean her workouts are still insane, even if she isn't natural (which I believe she is). I dont think she is using her body or the idea that you can look like her to sell more programs, her workouts are so good that I believe people are seeing results, and that's why they follow her. Sure you're seeing a super fit trainer, but after a few weeks with her, you're also seeing a fitter and stronger version of yourself and that's way more motivating that comparing yourself to you trainer. I truly think the way her branding is, it's more focused on general fitness, than achieving a certain body type. And it works really well, so I honestly wouldn't care if she's not natural, I wouldn't think she's been "lying" to me, as her workouts never promised to make me look like her, and I didn't start doing them with that goal in mind.
Can you review Fitness KayKay? She's a very underrated creator. She's in the same vein as CG in her no-nonsense approach to fitness.

On a technical level, Carolina has more structured programs on muscle growth, while Kay has more cardio, fast and dynamic work, which is practically what almost all the Trainers on YT do.
Precisely because she is fast you find it stimulating, she goes at like 3000, she always does makers, burpees and the whole Hiit department, Carolina now travels for 2 full minutes of work with 20kg per arm her approach to training is really different.

I find the whole discussion bizarre. Yes, she has made her name promoting home workouts but that doesn’t mean she is not allowed to do heavy weight training herself! (Which would account for her physique - in addition to years of training, quality nutrition and superior genetics). To my knowledge she has never claimed that her YT workouts will give you a body like hers (and if you think that, more fool you). Does her impressive physique do her any harm? Not at all. Would her workouts be just as good if she was built like a fridge freezer? Yes, but YT is a visual medium so it would, sadly be an obstacle.
She’s the real deal, looks like hard work & consistency & a gud clean diet…she’s fab

Oh no way is she taking PEDs. She is a pretty high level athlete. She runs marathons, does Ironmans, etc. Her physique is only from just working out at home. I believe she DOES workout at home but that's not the whole picture. I really miss new content from her (sorry, but I just can't afford her app), but I still use her workouts whenever I need to work out from home due to schedule or weather. I love her. I do like her as well, but when did she say she does Ironmans? As a Triathlete myself and from being around that crowd, most long distance runners are very lean and to have large muscles is actually a detriment to your running and swimming performance.
@@melissadodds8781 As a former competitive swimmer, I agree. Although I think the goal is to complete it/improve personal times than win. I read about her triathlete stuff in an article I read online somewhere.

Thumbs up except I don't like the click bate wording of the title. I find her to be a very genuine person . I don't believe she is using steroids. I am certain she also pays high attention to diet as well as great training.
Harry always uses click bait, just part of trying to make a living on UA-cam and actually have people watch unfortunately!
Caroline is awesome and my husband and I both do her workouts since moving away from a really good gym in central Massachusetts that trains everyday people and also has body challenges and bikini/bodybuilding challenges for these average people. An amazing hockey playing friend of mine who did her very first 10 week epic program pointed me to her during the pandemic when I could not get to my gym. My friend got in such good shape and it positively impacted her hockey playing. Caroline's physique is 100% achievable as a natural athlete. My old gym also helped train natural body bikini/physique/body builders and if your sleep, nutrition and workouts are on point even older women can transform their bodies. It happened to me and I saw it happen with 100's of other women -NONE who used any performance enhancing drugs. It is 80% at least nutrition but Caroline's workouts will help maintain/build your muscles if you slowly increase weights over time. She is just maintaining a low body fat percentage and doing so is possible especially pre-menopause.

I honestly never thought about? I just like the straight to the point work out and she doesnt talk other than explaining the movements. If anything if she does take stuff thats good for me since i dont want her body and mom worries about me becoming a muscle bunny but i let her know it would take 10 + years and im not in a rush
Does it matter? She brings you great workouts, she does them with you, she's never condescending, straight forward, always cheery and pushes you to do your best. She gives people exactly what they want. Is a boss when it comes to the fitness industry without over saturating the social media.
I don’t care if she’s natural or not. What she has provided for us has been life-changing, incredible content. Her physique is definitely what drew me in and I know I’ll never look like her. And that’s fine because having that low of a body fat percentage typically is not healthy for women.
oMG I LOVE Caroline!!! She is a huge inspiration to me. Her workouts are very, very intense = which will clue you in here because I run out of breath 😅and have to pause a lot. But it doesn't matter to me, I still do her workouts only at my own pace. Her work ethic is superb!!! She has so many programs of various levels and I always love them. She is a true work horse and kicks my butt every time

I definitely have a problem with enhanced bodybuilders and fitness influencers selling supplements. Female fitness influencers with surgically altered bodies selling flat tummy teas and other booty building products annoy me as well.
So you only review women…. Men don’t do this or you just have a problem with women (in general)

I love her! She has a Northern European body shape ( Irish I know but same ). I have the same shape and heritage and have always been muscular - especially upper body. Those Viking genetics etc. I started working out again at 50 using her you tube workouts and would highly recommend.
Not sure if she's ever commented on it, but I always assumed she built her muscles in a conventional gym/a very complete home gym and them just maintains it on home workouts. Idk that's what makes sense to me.
Harry when you make these videos do you ask the people featured to respond to your opinion? I am a completely natural athlete but I have had content like this made about me - however when I contacted them to get onto their channel to discuss they didn't want to know! You may have even been accused of taking drugs yourself. How did you feel? If Caroline didn't get the right to reply then its unfair. I would love to come on your channel to talk about this 'does she or doesn't she (do PEDS)' genre. I think its quite hard to tell by looking at someone's body in many cases it can be down to genetics and years of training. Personally I wouldn't be prepared to take the risk to my health and I think many other women in my age category are like this.
I would assume no - he does reaction videos which means he's responding to other people's content (in a pretty balanced way).
It's unlikely the large creators he's creating videos about would want to respond, but I'd guess if someone did reach out he would consider more joint content or include that information in a video. My guess is it doesn't happen though, particularly for HUGE ones like Caroline.
I’ve messaged Caroline a few times without response, sadly. I’d like to think she’d be happy with my response considering I defended her and her natural status, even if I might be wrong.
When I do speak with creators they’re (more often than not) incredibly supportive and encouraging, likely due to the nature of how things are presented. I’ve been accused of PED use myself since university and I loved it - what a huge compliment! But that being said, I’ve never claimed natural as my physique isn’t relevant to my brand.

For me, she looks VERY lean, and to maintain that musculature at her size would be possible, but definitely difficult, genetics notwithstanding. She makes her living based on her appearance in part, and I'd be a little surprised if she didn't use PEDs to help stay lean, even if intermittently.

I have been a fan of Caroline since day one and I loved her then, it hasn’t changed. I’m 69 years old this fall and I’m in the best shape ever, all from following Caroline. I now have her app and love it. She’s all natural in every way, from her physical appearance to her inspiration and commitment. I totally believe you can get to the best shape from home workouts but not just from working out with weights. As we all know, 80% is diet and 20% is our physical activity. Love you Caroline 😊
CG has been a personal fitness trainer for about 20 years and she used a gym she only started UA-cam when the pandemic hit for her clients as a sports psychologist in my opinion she has just worked hard and is extremely fit she loves what she does i follow her and by body has changed no i am not as muscular as her but i would live in hope lol
I see a Caroline video and I click! I call CG "The Tank"! She's set up a great environment (Like saying it's "you v you" or you can go slower or faster than me) where I focus on myself and not her when I'm doing the workouts. She doesn't promote supplements or state that you can "look like her" with her workouts, so for me it doesn't matter.
At least from what I've seen she has never exclusively said that she works out at home ) she's a personal trainer, we don't know her involvement or how active she is in the gym, I don't think her natty status is questionable, my personal opinion, but whether or not she is natural it doesn't bother me
I just love Caroline and her workouts.
Her workout is very very challenging, even though the weight I use is much lighter than what she uses. She is very honest in her videos: if the video says 30 minutes work out, it IS 30 minutes not including warm-up nor cool down. She doesn't act like a super hero with her workout, quite the opposite, she pauses in the middle. I LOVE her workout

I followed her for a long time but stopped after she transitioned out of UA-cam. I’ve since found several different YT coaches whose workouts result in much higher calorie burn while including the strength training that Caroline did. For some reason, I just don’t get my desired burn with her workouts, but that’s neither here nor there. What a lot of people seem to be missing is that she walks for 1 hour EVERY DAY in addition to whatever workout she posts. She also runs and participates in marathons. I feel like the only thing that is misleading is when people think that they can achieve her physique with just her workouts without doing the extra daily cardio she does. I think she’s natural and a professional. Either way, people always have the choice to not follow her if they have doubts.

@@alanhills1637 Hi, Alan! I follow several trainers and for different reasons. Penny Barnshaw has a wide variety of styles in her videos, everything from strength to dumbbell HIIT in various formats (no repeat, EMOM, etc.). I especially like that they’re geared towards women in our 40s who enjoy challenging workouts. DanielPT is younger and also more intense in his workouts. He puts together very creative combos for his strength moves which I find to be really fun. He has exceptional explosive kettle bell and dumbbell workouts, and he’s great if you want max burn in 30-35 minutes, as that’s the length of the majority of his workouts. FitnessbyKayKay is another trainer with a wide variety of videos in different formats who also incorporates creative combos into her routines. EleniFit is my go-to for rest days when I do HIIT Pilates. I’m not a fan of the cheesy R&B-style music she plays and I incorporate light hand and ankle weights into the routines because otherwise half the time I wouldn’t even burn 200 calories, but again, rest days. Every once in a while I’ll do a Heather Robertson workout. She’s very good but as I leveled up I found her workouts to be less challenging, but she’s great. All but DanielPT incorporate warm-ups and cool downs and he’s the only one who offers an occasional video with commentary. I personally do NOT like trainers who talk, as I much prefer follow-along with music. I hope that helps!
She is very strong. If genetically gifted in this way, will in turn allow her to build a good amount of muscle over time with consistency. She has been lifting for many years and appears to be natural. PEDs would definitely enhance what she has built but females cannot take them for long periods without vitalization. Caroline has been an inspiration and saved many of us during the Covid lockdown. She looks just as beautiful and feminine now as years before. 💪🏼❤
Agreed. I think that a lot of people are forgetting about genetics factor. Of course, for women is more usual to be lean with less muscle mass, but there is also a certain number of us that get very big muscles very fast and/or have genetically more muscle mass. I get visible muscles and super lean just by doing cardio and hiit and when I start working out with weights (usually I do 80%-90% of the weight Caroline is using) I become very big and strong very fast. Even before covid when I went with my best friend to gym, we did the same things and were able to lift our weight and more in dead lift or hip thrust and she barely developed any visible muscles while I was super muscular.

If anyone believes her body comes from dumbells at home they are very naive 😂 she obviously lift heavy and in the gym. She kooks amazing but her muscles arent very big. She just uas literally NO fat. But i know damn well she films her videos and then hits a smith machine. Plus her pictures make her look more ripped then she does in her videos.

She uses moderate weights and high intensity. Fast recovery. Her workouts take you to failure each time, the heavy weights is not the only way.
There are some who will undermine others' accomplishments because they cannot fathom the level of effort it took to get there... Caroline has a lengthy and diverse resume. She is highly experienced and certainly natural.

She looks natural, when I was younger I worked out a lot and I was huge and natural, It’s her diet which is is making her look more ripped, some people just build muscle easier than others
Well she has said that she used to workout at the gym but when COVID hit she started with home workouts doing pretty much what she did at the gym
Also, I love that she emphasizes that your body won’t grow so quickly with her workouts. But it’s pretty obvious that they help her maintain her physique which hasn’t changed much tbh
I love caroline - both her workouts and personality. But I would have to achieve and maintain such a low level of body fat to get even anywhere near having her muscle definition that it wouldnt be healthy for my body.
But have you also seen Zuzka's workout? Most of her workout is not in the gym and she looked so ripped and very strong!

She could go either way. To be honest I have a very similar physique at 50. I’ve been training for 30 yrs. You used to be able to buy products over the counter that really increased muscularity. Not even sure what. They no longer sell. So, I’m definitely natural and like I said have same general physique.
Love her no matter what. I've been in a bad space in my life and Caroline 's workouts has helped me through the most difficult times in my life. Don't care if she's on steroids that's her choice. Caroline we love you!!!!!

i believe she is natural but maybe she lifts weights at the gym as well, I dont think she relies only on her videos? I have seen ppls results from her program and most are underwhelming, I believe most of the people using her program arent eating right, they admit it themsleves in their results videos. I was able to build strong lean muscles at home using beach body 21 day fix extreme but i ate clean, veggies 3 times a day, complex low carb and high protien healthy fats. ppl were shocked when I said I built my body at home .
Caroline seems to be a person who is particularly genetically gifted AND works super hard. She lifts heavy but with higher reps which keeps her very lean which I think a lot of women especially appreciate. Her muscle definition is definitely insane in her abs and shoulders...I don't think she EVER has a cheat meal and that's what is showing.
I have a very similar physique to hers, in terms of shoulder definition and abs. I do not take anything and have never even thought about that. I just pick up heavy things and put them back down again in a slow and controlled manner, and have a low body fat percentage.
I will say I’ve worked out with her mostly for almost 2 years, nowhere near as on point with nutrition and crazy other activities she does, and even I have pretty good muscle definition. So for her to have the physique she does, I don’t think is too outlandish. Regardless, I love her!
One thing to add. Some years ago people were asking Caroline about her look based on a picture she had used on her web site. She then decided to take it down, explaining that it had been taken just post workout and that it did not represent how she looked most of the time. If that’s not the sign of someone with integrity I don’t is what is.
She's great. Has wonderful free workout programs on UA-cam. Has helped many women.
I suspect a lot of it is enhanced by lighting and body make up. How would she look with fake tan?
I have followed her for years and have much more muscle definition and am much stronger.
What I do hate is the moniker our queen’ and the general crazy adoration on certain groups.

I 100 percent believe she is natural. One thing you didn’t consider is that she isn’t just achieving this with at home workouts. She was a gym trainer prior to her UA-cam success. Covid made for this market to take off and she rose above the rest. I am quite certain I have seen gym type equipment in her home in older videos. So even if she doesn’t go to a public gym anymore I’m sure she still uses those machines.
I also want to add I’ve avoided this video forever because men like to bash woman in the fitness industry and your titles are click bait titles. I’m happy it was thoughtful but maybe make videos that lift woman out and not question them causing negative speculation.

She doesn’t eat enough to gain more muscle and when she hits menopause she’s going to suffer big time with this low body fat.
Really? She could easily gain some body fat if that's what's beneficial to her health during menopause. Besides, building a lot of muscle is the absolute BEST thing you can do to protect yourself from the damage menopause will do to your body and bones.

No you can’t achieve her physique at home, unless you’ve got some decent equipment and / or space. She creates content but that doesn’t mean that’s her only personal exercise preference. She clearly goes to the gym or has access to a range of equipment in order to develop her muscles the way she has. I don’t care if she’s using PEDS, she still puts in the work
Calisthenics exists. Don’t need a gym necessarily.
And actually I have a similar physique and stature to her but would look even more like her in the abs if I ate more carefully.

Can you show where she has made the statement that she's natural?
It’s irritating how people worship the ground she walks on. I’ve done a couple of her programs, they’re great but wrecked me with how much volume they have, she’s gorgeous and well spoken and doesn’t promote body goals. All very respectable. She can be and do all those things and still potentially take PED’s. Also, from what I understand, some PED’s are legal in the UK so maybe they don’t carry as much stigma as they do in places where they’re illegal?
Not outside of the realms of possibility to be in the shape she's in with home workout, just not the workout she posts.
I'd rather workout to get muscle naturally and take its time to grow, and won't do steroids, etc... like some of these bodybuilders do.
I am enjoyed her UA-cam workouts for about a year and a half, doing roughly two per week.
I think she might lift in a gym to maintain her own fitness

I think Caroline is great. I wouldn't care if she wasn't natty. I dont use steroids but I can understand why someone would. There is so much stigma, people are so ashamed and hide it when there is no need, because they still have to do all the hard work and eating right.
She consumes 170 grams of protein per day. That is her juice.
