Making a *Cottagecore* 1940's Dress!! Simplicity R11333

I forgot to mention that I did indeed make a side closer on this dress and that allows me to shimmy in and out of it without undoing the buttons on the back!
You're witnessing a historical event; I've found the dress that I feel the most self-actualized in... I think. Regardless, I have now set a standard for myself.

The back is actually two pieces, and they’re connected by the buttons

@@themissyalexander I have the pattern lol I got stuck in step two. The basting through me off I just said eh. And went ahead and straight stitched it if I’ve got to pull seams later I will.
I was wondering how you did that step
