  • This dress pattern is Hollywood Pattern of Youth #1997!
I plan on finding and making more Hollywood patterns in the future, so this may become a regular theme!

    I absolutely LOVE Etsy!!! 🥰
I get the joy of going antique shopping without even having to leave my room!...... And they have so much more many hard to find items. You can't beat it!!!🙂💯

The finished dress and the overall look on you is giving that fresh youthful 1940's Norma Jean (before Marilyn) vibe. Continue the good work, I'm loving it!

I’m in the middle of a Hollywood pattern! So fun! The hole punched letters are the letters of the pattern pieces not front/back :)
The pattern should say on it the meanings for the rest of the punches.

Great job on all your 1940s dresses! Would you ever consider a Lookbook?

I suppose I would. I do videos for most of the things I make but eventually I thought I’d make a recap/me-made outfits type video. I suppose that’s kind of a lookbook?

Is it possible, that the flab for the buttons belongs on the inside?

That is a very good point! I think that makes a lot more sense than what I chose to do
