April 2023 Makes in Review! Simplicity 5938 & 9739, Butterick 6675, New Look 6346 & 6678

Today I'm sharing with you my most recent spring/summer April 2023 sewing makes! Happened upon some great vintage style Simplicity patterns (Simplicity 5983 and 9739), went traditional with a wrap dress using Butterick 6675, and of course the pattern merge between New Look sewing patterns 6346 and 6678 to create some fun new pieces for my summer wardrobe. I'm sharing with you some pattern modifications I did, what I continue to learn about sizing, and where I got all my fabric from (one hint: it's a MOOD)!

This! This! This! Your input on S9538 is everything I've been looking for. A vintage /peasant style top. I'm a "beginner-ish" too. And the pleats you mentioned, the sleeves and elastic at the bottom are on point!
I've been looking for a few weeks and haven't found the right pattern. Everything came close but not quite right. But this video spoke to my soul! This is awesome ❤️
