The fact he touched the ground willingly and on purpose is impressive.
i worked security at a ren fair a few years back, one that took authenticity very seriously so if a guy like you came in with an outfit like this we were told by the organizers to politely ask you to change into normal clothes and come back as a regular attendee and remind you that this" was a ren fair not a comic con" i hated it.
That must have sucked to turn away people in sick armor like this 😢
fuckign cringe, that smusta sucked bro
yeah, these are dying out even here in germany and i´m glad they do, because you couldn´t even attend them in regular clothes, you had to wear authentic medieval clothing.
*loads crossbow* they did not just disrespect the enitre fantasy fandom
@@klortikterra4423 i dont think the renaissance was fantasy. it was a real point in history, lol
I love how animated he can be in the armor. He's definitely mastered the art of being expressive while hiding his expressions!
It would be cool if in 24 you bring cody, rex and commander wolf to the fair
Absolutely!
I love how people were turning around to look at your armor when you were skipping into the fair haha! Definitely impressive and nice work!
Armor looks fantastic! Love the sound it makes as you move around
It's nice to see this side of you guys. You two are so busy and stressed with the business side of things. Glad to see you both smiling and having a good time.
That's so kind of you to say, thank you!
Rex was out of his element that he tossed that axe like a Stormtrooper. XD
It looks like you guys had a blast, I'm jealous.
I have never seen anything more sexy in my life other than rex being revived into the Ahsoka series.
givin me the motivation to finish my RC build, thanks!
Love to hear it!
It would be great if you modeled the Knight Version Of wolffe. It appears most are the armor would be similar to the Rex version. Plus it would go with the helmet you already modeled
Love it! Looks great on ya, brother. Gotta get Jamie in the Cody armor now! ;D
The algorithm knows what I like xD
That looks so badass. Gotta add that to the project list
I'm Captain Rex and I approve of medieval Captain Rex!!! 😁
PLS make a 3D File for Stormtrooper and First Order
For the Alliance.. wait no. Awesome costume!
You guys should do thr whole squad from that artwork. I know you've made the Wolf helmet already.
Not sure it's the right niche but if anyone's brutally interested in hard-core expertise in the Medieval Art of War, including in depth arms & armor videos, I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's history channel
This video alone makes me want to make a medieval Rex :)
6:50 The ammount of crossovers.
I like to think that when he was finding the dragons, and kneeled down and whatever, that that's how the clones would realistically talk to kids with their 80 pounds of armor on.
This is an awesome video! Really cool work!
Oh wow, I actually saw you guys there. I had never seem that costume before and gotta say it blew my mind. Looks awesome guys!
Looks great! You fit right in!
So awesome!
I printed your ARC helmet and wore it just a couple weeks ago for FanX.
My nose was also crushed. Idk what it is with you and crushed noses! 😂
Your nose is just positively massive, sir!
Badass
Beautiful, I wanna make a set
Nice kit. Though I still do not understand why you did not put the visor screen on the flip-up visor. This way, the thing would actually be worth the additional weight.
cant wait to make a 3d fanart outta this
Very cool! Can't imagine how hot it got, but it was really awesome to see it in full motion. Is it as flexible as it looks? Really impressed by how much you could still move.
Dammmmn!! That armor is BEAUTIFUL!!! ❤❤❤
7:46
Totally make Medieval Wolffe and his sword!!!!!
Oh man this reminds me of old youtube. Good times.
6:48 the crossover we neverthought we'd see. Medieval Rex wielding Storm Breaker
That is badass
I love that Armor! ☺️
He looks like he just stepped out of a bud light commercial.
This is some of the sickest shit I've ever seen yet!!!
awesome
dude, the struggle is real and relatable XD
For the republic!
I went to the Ren Fair dressed as a Jedi monk maybe one of these days we will run into each other
Think about getting a camel bag, into that suit. those save lives. This comes from an avid larper that wears big troll costumes
Good soldiers follow orders. Cpt. Rex and all the clones are one of the best written fighting forces in fiction.
hi love this
I had no idea rex was also MF DOOM 8:35
DID I SEE THE ANCIENT SWORD OF THE METH KING THERE!?!
It looks amazing. I'll just say that the thigh plates need to be raised higher up.
There called tassets, and should be smaller, positioned in the front, and attached to the plackart (placart? idk) which is a secondary reinforcement plate attached to the cuirass. The tassets were meant to protect the gap in between the cuirass and the cuisses (thigh armor). Also he has no neck or elbow protection, and the blade catch on his right shoulder is to high up (it will restrict his movement). Also his breastplate is too restrictive and misshapen, his lower breastplate should be made up of more individual plates so he can bend his torso, and his upper torso should be more globular to make objects more likely to glance off, that is if he’s going for a more functional, realistic armor, but if he just wants a medieval flavored clone trooper then that’s fine I guess whatever i don’t care never mind.
Maybe for the next fair make a mark 2 for the helmet.
Tbh I don't think the artist even MADE any phase 2 medieval versions. I only ever saw what looked like Phase 1s
is that carter hudson! lool
damn im sad now, i was gonna go to that ren fair and i didnt, i could of gotton a pic with you DANGGGG, that would have been cool maybe next time lol
An even longer time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
maybe make it so he could bend his knee if he had to pick something up instead of having to squat
Bruh that Shadowmourne.....
PLEASE MAKE SOME ONE HANDED axes. it would fit this Medival Rex so much. ore maybe an one handed Crossbow
Check his hip plates!
What kind of spear is that? I don’t recall if you guys made it on the channel?
It's a metal pole painted to look like it has a wood grain!
hey where can I get that leather bag?
So I have to ask what would be your medieval ranged weapon?
Do you have a video on how you made the belt or armor accessories? I'm building mine now but don't know how to do those parts of the build.
Norn iron
Can't hide that N Ireland accent on Jamie haha
I try, but I can't quite get rid of it 😂
7:18 How did Zabimaru not sell immediately
Can you do an Medieval Mandalorian of Din Jarin (Mando)
Does Jamie have any progress on his Medieval Commander Cody build?
I've begun work on my own Medieval Cody suit that I'm hoping to complete by May.
Would love to see what he's done for inspiration while building mine.
You boys should make your way down to Ohio's Ren fair. We got a huge castle wall and a lot of people dress up. Its like a brand new world. Great Suit made though, 10/10.
Need this as a Skyrim mod
im sorry but what is the shirt he is wearing in the beginning i need it XD
Where did you get the leather parts of the of the outfit and how did you get the kama? Cause I'm dying to make one like yours.
Yes go join space Jesus in the galactic crusade.
Medieval doom guy from doom eternal
This looks like something off of runescape
No jousting? bummers! LOL looked like fun but a bit warm.
Would your armor hold up against airsoft/paintball
I'd love to test this.
All I see is a world of warcraft alliance guard
someone please mod this armor into skyrim
Honestly he kinda looks like witcher
The Concept Art was true
What 3D printer did you use?
I would be surprised if gamesters thought you were a NPC soldier from World of Warcraft's
Is this a festival or something?
I never noticed how tall you are 🤦♂️😄
6'3" baybee
Hmmm
bro, how tall are you, couse that first shot of you skipping into the fair made you look like you were atleast 7 ft tall jajaja
I love the look of the armour, however I would like to the see the captain pauldron a bit further out.
Someone please mod this into bannerlord🙏
How come there are so many of these renaissance fairs or similar events in the US compared to say Europe where the Renaissance originated? I am well aware that Americans were originally European colonists, however I do not feel this justifies their obsession with these types of things considering how their national identity emerged during an era where muskets and artillery where prominent. I myself have barely ever heard of any events where the themes were based on the medieval ages here in Europe, and such find it strange that a nation without any history related to knights/knighthood is so obsessed with them. Am I perhaps over-thinking the scope of how prevalent this is? Has the UA-cam algorithim bamboozled me? Are those sort of events only meant for a spesific niche of people over there? Does anyone know?
I mean it's certainly still a specific niche. I'm a big dork, and I've only gone to one so far in my 26 years alive, and it was for a field trip.
But I actually think it's prevalent for the exact reason you wouldn't expect it to be. I suspect the appeal with Ren fairs involves stuff you're already saturated with in Europe, while it is a unique thing to do for an American.
It's probably at least semi-comparable to cowboy themed events/places in other countries. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You are massive how tall are you?
6'3" - this armor really makes you feel tanky
@@GalacticArmory it seems like it. Can you make a Darth Raven mask and armor?
Should have worn a Coif
This looks more like mando armor, but sure, whatever you want to imagine my guy lmao
Why do the proportions look so... wrong?
please wear a head sock next time
I wish I was tall. If I were to wear this, I would become laughing stock and would look weird than being an admiring figure!😭
You’re so lucky, nice armor bro.🥲
