6.0L POWERSTROKE DEALERPROOF SUPER FAST TURN AROUND
If your truck is an important piece in your life and you don’t have it lifetime dealerproofed yet, you need to seriously consider it. We are professionals; this is what we do all day, every day. The dealerproof process comes with a lifetime head gasket warranty which we can offer because of our BiggDogg cylinder heads.
The BiggDogg cylinder heads is the key to our success with the lifetime dealerproof process. These are Ford remanufactured castings. I DO NOT use Chinese castings. We tried but that was a total disaster because they were garbage. The metallurgy in the Chinese heads is very poor and would crack. We couldn’t find any that wouldn’t crack under hard use. We start with factory Ford castings and add all new factory Ford valves. We DO NOT use any aftermarket parts. We o-ring the heads with an o-ring that sits up 4 or 5,000th above the deck. This bites into the head gasket when you tighten the head studs down. We pay meticulous attention to detail in producing the BiggDogg heads and achieve very straight surfaces. All the castings have been checked out for cracks. We DO NOT fix cracks like a lot of other head manufacturers. If they are cracked in any way, shape or form, they get thrown out.
These particular heads do not originally come with bronze guides in them, rather steel on steel and the valve rides against the casting which is bad for long term wear. We add the bronze guides which help lubricate the valves as they work in the heads which makes them last a lot longer. We are the only ones in the world that makes and markets these heads. There are other people out there that claim it, but I am the only guy that gives the lifetime warranty. We have extremely fast turnaround and the best trained technicians in the industry to make sure that you get what you paid for when you come to visit us.
The BiggDogg cylinder heads combined with ARP head studs and factory Ford head gaskets absolutely seal the head gaskets. Also included in this process is a brand new Ford EGR cooler that comes with a 2 year warranty. We do our own in-house tuning that will give you the maximum amount of power without sacrificing the longevity of the engine. We reseal all the seals and sensors on the sides where they are prone to leak. We check and reseal the injectors. If there are any other components like belts or hoses that need to be redone, we find them when we have the truck apart. We only charge for the cost of the parts, the labor is paid as part of the dealerproof process. This is absolutely crucial so that you can depend on your 6.0L to do what you need it to do to get the job done.
The 6.0L’s are good pre-emission trucks. They have some minor emission stuff on them, but for the most part, these are pre-emission (pre-DPF) trucks. It is one of the reasons why I like the 6.0L. The transmissions are absolutely unkillable on these trucks. They have the updated, more modern front suspensions on the 4x4 with a coil springs. It is a truck that is really worth fixing and keeping on the road. Once I get done with the truck, it is absolutely dependable. In the last five years we have probably done between 3,000-4,000 head gasket jobs on these trucks with the lifetime dealerproof process and have NOT had one comeback. We have had folks with other little problems, but the head gaskets never go bad again. As long as a customer sticks with our tuning, which we mandate in our warranty, you will not have a problem with these head gaskets. I can look in the camera and guarantee that because we have proved it over and over. We have fast turnarounds also, usually turning these trucks around in about a week. Attached is a time-lapse video with two of my mechanics co - Авто та транспорт
That time lapse was probably one of the most impressive pieces of mechanical work I have ever seen.
I love that we post video evidence of workplace safety violations on a public forum. Most youtubers go out of their way to tell you to wear safety glasses, jack stands, etc and these guys just say to hell with it. Ford Magicians at their finest!
totally agree
David Osburn , For these guys - Honestly first ☝️!

Safety is relative to experience in this field. . If you've done something 10,000 times you know what NOT to do as much as what you have to do so even without ppe it's inherently safer than it would be if it were the first time doing it with all proper safety gear on.... JMHO B)
I have been a mechanic since 1982 and by far, that is the best mechanical documentation I have ever seen, and the best professional work I have ever seen. Thank you for the chance to see a serious best.
As a class 8 diesel tech, I have to say that's an insane turn around time. Hats off to your guys! They had a system and process that flowed very well. I really like that all of the parts that came off nasty went back on clean as a whistle.
As a tech I also agree, there system worked great
This shop is a shining example of the automotive repair industry. I hope one day to find a shop like this I can work for. I'm so sick of working for places that would rather me do shotgun jobs to get the vehicle out the door so they can make money. I want to use my skills to work for people and to really get down and dirty with the real problems that cars have, not just what part will fix the symptom. Not what will make the customer go away, but what will keep the customer happy, and coming back for the right reasons.
I don't have a diesel in my F250 but if I did, I'd bring it to yall for any repairs. Hell of a salesman.
That timelapse was badass. Its unbelievable that you guys can do that in 8 hours, and do it right. One day, when i build myself a welding rig, I'm getting the truck from you, otherwise I'll be buying a gasser.
Excellent work. and man, two experienced, knowledgeable men, and a time lapse make it look easy!
Man, I love this guy! When I get my 2017 Super Duty... I'm coming to Bill!
Awesome job it's good knowing that there is such thing as a mechanic shop taking pride in their work.
I have only a general interest in diesel pickups but years ago when I heard that Ford was dropping the displacement from 7.3 to 6.0 I was very surprised. Heard here and there that the move was bad due to inferior engine design but I've now learned from Bill that the later 6.0's are much better. Never would have guessed there was such a turnaround and that Bill would actually favo these engines above others. This is only my third PowerstrokeHelp video. Really enjoying it.
Wow Incredible dedication and workmanship! Bravo!
After watching this man's videos... I believe that there may be hope for PowerStroke owners.
Bill, enjoyed the video especially with you showing the clock during tear down and reassembly. Don’t know if you read the comments, I’m new to diesels, just got a 2001 f350 7.3 I like the simplicity of the engine, I’m learning a lot on how to maintain her via your videos
Thank you kindly
You guys do amazing work. I can't wait for my warranty to be up so I can bring my truck your way!
I want these guys to work on my truck. I never seen any shop clean a truck after working on it before ever in my life! that was awesome.
You know your a real boss when your watching what your guys are doing 👍
I've been following along all your tips and never got come backs. thanks a lot for these valuable infos your giving us.
Awesome video man! I love watching these type of videos.
I love watching people who are really good at what they do.
Gotta love when the boss stands over you watching you work all day.Even better when he's recording! LOL
Thats the way to run a real shop. Trained people with the tools needed. Good Job.
True professionals. I love these videos.

1:36 “the hud studs”
another terrific video! That song was catchy at first but by the 12th time around it was striking a nerve... ;) Keep up the good work. When i get my powerstroke i can guarantee you'll be my mechanic.
Sr. great job, and you have great team, congratulations, God bless you.
awesome! it's great you put this information out there. be seeing you soon bill
Bill is the man. if I had a 6.0 powerstroke this is where I would take it. Something happens to my 6.7 that is where it's going.
I am a shop owner and this guy if a hell of a salesman!!!
Cool video, Bill. Hope to see some more of this.
Awesome! Extreme professionals!!!
Thought I’d come check this video out and maybe try my hand with a diy dealer proofing project on my personal 6.0, I have now changed my mind 😂
Must be a blast being a technician employed at your shop Bill. I'm serious. That really looks like a good time.
Bill is a REAL American...the kind that Makes America Great......(again)
I'm sure most would agree but lets try not to get too political here lol.
is America great again yet? 😂😂😂 the irony in your comment
America has never been not great, but with the right leadership we could be even better.
@@infamousstreetperformance1233
Trumps trying to get it done. We are suppose to be the Number 1 country in the world. We have to go back to that mentality.
blasater quit being a hater. We all make America great!!!
Wow, that was amazing, I won't get that tune out of my head for a while, but it was worth it. My wife's uncle drives a 2001 F-250 Super Duty with a 7.3L in it, he loves that truck, he says it's the last truck he'll ever buy.
Your wife's uncle is a smart man. 7.3s last forever as long as you keep them maintained. Also the tune is the Benny Hill chase theme lol.
That has got to be the best video on UA-cam
These guys know what they're doing for sure
Jose you're famous! best Diesel mechanic in the southeast.
Great video. Love the Benny Hill music. Awesome job
And a little Benny Hill! A lot of work goes into that sort of job, along with a good bit of skill and knowledge! I did the math,
you have been doing about 12 of these jobs a week over the last 5 years, that is an accomplishment and then some!
I have an '03 single cab with 55,287 miles and I'll be seeing you for my major mechanical 6.0L needs. Your technicians are on point and have really good habits. It was very refreshing and eye opening to see how they handle business. Thank you for the video 👊🏻
man! your mechanics are fast! and good. great video great job
Great video Bill!
Simply amazing 😉
We love bill !!!! Your the man
Like he said he has been doing it forever he knows what he’s doing. He a badass at it.
I wish I could find good help like this...hope you pay these guys good youve got a hell of a team there
i have learned more about a powerstroke in 2 days watching these videos than you can learn in 3 years working for the dealer
Amazing
Super impressed
happy new year to you to bill and happy new you to all your techs. cant wait to see the videos for 2017
This video gives me hope for my 6.0
After watching many of your video Bill, last week on friday, I pulled the trigger and got myself an 05 f350 dually. One thing is I think a got a great steal. several weeks ago been looking into buying a truck. saw this one 07 f350 king ranch dually. nice truck been kept up. I decided to put a deposit down on the truck to hold it until my next paycheck comes around. while waiting, they had an 05 f350 lariat on the website that friday. Once I got off on work, i went over to the place to check that truck out. The funny and cool thing is the original owner was there because he was trading in the truck for a f150 so he can give it to his grandson. I spoke with him and he told me all the things he did to it. Had all the service and repair records. Once the guy left, I did my own inspection decided to pull the trigger on that truck, and man its a great truck. One thing I'm saving up is a trip to your shop so I can get the dealerproof package.
jasonman1515
post a pic of your great find man!!
Brig T I will be doing a quick video of it and I will post it on youtube. I like my new/used truck
MAKE DIESELS GREAT AGAIN
#MDGA
DIESEL 2020 !!!
Yes - Rollback the last 2 federal emission standards and requirements for diesel engines.
I resent that! .... When weren't they great? Huh? When! LOL
The wacky sax song makes this video pure gold!
Great video Bill
Bill is on it Boys.. Great Job Guys!
Cant wait to buy a truck from you guys.
When I get my 6.0, I'll make the trip to bring it to you Bill.
Wow the techs that work for you are really good.
Super awesome work
Dam I love this man !
I work for a Ford dealership and I would rather Bill work on my 6.0
You must be a porter.
@@matthewnosal6893 Is that similar to what they call a "lot lizard"?
@@officialyoutubecommentator4357 LMAO that comment had me cracking up for last minute of video
It's good to be the boss!
I just want to say I wish I knew about you guys before I had a head gasket failure with my 05 6.0. I bought it from a small dealer near me and it blew up within the first 2 weeks of me having the truck, it took them 3 months and 2 days to bullet proof my engine and I’ve had to take it back twice within the first week and a half for my truck stalling for no reason and now needs new injectors and I’m on my 5th day waiting for them just to do that. Next time I have a problem I’ll be sure to take the time to travel and have my truck done right.
You guy's are so good!!!!!
As always great video Mr. Bill. Couple things I just wanted to mention:
#1) Nice music jejeje
#2) That is some weird a** looking intake
Amazing video! Bill, you mentioned suspension and I've heard in a previous video that you prefer Bilstein but what do you recommend for the early 03-04 6.0's?(just bilstein shocks, dual front shock upgrade, or try to update to newer style shock & spring setup?) Thanks for all the extremely helpful videos.
Damn nice work boys !!!!!
OUTSTANDING !!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This guy is the best bar none
wow so impressive ,that was a lot of work, great music to
One thing everyone is missing here is the fact this guy makes a great living fixing poorly engineered Diesel engines.
Kinda like the diesel counterpart to Louis Rossmann in a sense (and similarly passionate about his 6.4 hatred to how Rossmann is about Apple stuff).
A++ for cleaning her at the end
Not with that bristle brush tho.
16:30 big puff of blue haha great video though!
You are the ford man if I get a 6.0 I will come see you I promise
Good educational video to teach college students how repair diesels!
Wow 8 hours!!! You guys have it dialed in!
Very impressive!
Holy shit!! You boys didn’t mess around!!
Time lapse was a nice. Hopefully we see more of that.
Badass video!
Frickin awesome!!..Bill is a smart guy!!.. Aloha 🤙🏽
I would pay to work and learn from you. Wish schools out here in Colorado would teach like that.
i loved watching this.
wow!! 8 hours..that is impressive for all that work...took me 3 hours change plugs on my chevy van
working shlub Took me 10 minutes to change the plugs on my '85 D-150.
NovaMan 350 way different animal
Jesus mendoza calls people gay yet drives a neon.....
Jesus mendoza
and it's still a turd. lol fuck off ricer
Took me 30 seconds to change the plug on my weed wacker
I learned the hard way to bring my trucks to powerstroke specialty. the 1hr and 45min ride is well worth it.
Great job
That’s good stuff!!
Greatest music match up!
I want one. This will be perfect for business
Good job boys.
I'll be down there this summer to get my 6.0 worked on by you guys from NY
Bill really like the video that truck was really clean no salt for this one ! What was the issue with the truck before the repair pressure in the cooling system ? And over heating ?
That 8 hour head gasket job was nuts haha! My buddy recently was thinking about trading his LB7 duramax on a 6.4 and completely changed his mind when I showed him your videos!
smart man
Reckless entertainment this is a 6oh not a 6fo in the video.
Yes my friends truck was in the shop for 2 weeks,
6.4s aren't built all that well
loved pulling cabs on fords so easy and fast
Who in the hell keeps thumbs downing informative videos??? Bill you are great and you run a tight ship! If my new F350 ever goes down you are going to have a new customer from MN.
Crazy fast. I've done a cab off engine swap on a 6.7 took me 33 hours!
Awesome!!
Damn that was a fast turn around!
Awesome channel Bill! I've been following your channel for years and I have to say, you and your team have got Powerstrokes down to a science..Question...Where can I get one of those tow hook truck steps?!? I need one of those..That thing is bad ass
