This is the most honest trust worthy company in the country!!! I've been servicing heavy equipment and all kinds of trucks big and smallFOR 30 YEARS.BILL HAS GAVE ADVICE THAT MY GRANDPA TAUGHT ME! HOPE THIS MAN LIVES FOREVER!
Thanks for another great vid! Always looking out for new details from your extensive experience. I bought a truck from you 2 years ago and have no issues. Thanks for being there for the community.
I love your videos. Especially on all the 7.3 content from the HUEI to the upgraded transmissions info. It’s answered several questions for me as I rebuilt my 03 F250 7.3 PowerStroke. Please never stop! I’ve owned hundreds of trucks over the years and this one I’m going to keep until the laws no longer allow me to drive it. Then it will become a mine site service truck never seeing the road again. I just wanted to express my gratitude for your content.
I've been running the 6.7 power stroke these engines have been awesome since day one, very reliable stock, I do run a program in it when I tow now. As for issues with the 6.7 and programmer not yet do I expect it maybe. But I'm not running it like I stole it just everyday driving and towing. As for the cp4 and cp4.2 issues not yet and we ran a small fleet of f350,450,250 trucks. I'm now running a 2016 f350 xlt with 124,000 this truck is new to me as I sold my f250 2019 and bought this 16 f350 as my daily driver that I'm towing through America for the next 3 years.
So I have a comment to make about the cold/ hot air intakes not sure why but I have a 06 with 500k miles on it and it had a stock intake and I bought a 04 f250 with 160k and it had a k&n intake and just out of curiosity while i was bulletproofing my 04 I put the cold air on my 06 and I noticed it got better fuel mileage with the cold air over the factory
Hey Bill, not a powerstroke issue but if you get a BMW X5 E70 with a stalling diesel engine it is injector number 5, water ingress from a broken bakerlite insulation strip against the bonnet. Once broken water drips onto the number 5 injector and stalls out the engine with no codes. Took me months to figure it out. Many will be quoted over 10K for a $1500 repair. Great video by the way.
Tried to take my truck to you guys a month ago but the guy told me you wouldn’t be able to work on it for a month or two and to drop it off and you would get to it when you could. No scheduling or anything. 🤷🏼♂️ ended up taking it to a local shop
As a mechanic myself, something else to check on these diesel fords with the manual trans is to make sure someone else didn't replace the ATF in the manual transmission it regular gear/motor oil thinking it's better. I see this a LOT when customers come with with used Ford's complaining about difficulty in shifting when cold, transmission noise etc.. I can't believe people still do that to these transmissions
Hey Bill. I have a 13 F250 6.7 with 61k miles. I've been sending oil samples in to Oil Analyzers, Inc (thanks to Tom Brown, Amsoil) since the day I bought it with 14k miles. I've also been running the Amsoil Dual Remote Bypass filter system shortly after buying the truck. My last 2 samples are showing high wear metals of Iron, Chromium and Aluminum. Based on advice from Tom and engineers at Oil Analyzers, I'm bringing the truck to Ford tonight for a morning appointment to have the cylinders bore scoped. If you have a moment, I'd be curious of what your thoughts would be to what could be causing this and how concerned I should be. I appreciate you and your time, I know you are busy. Thanks again!
Just put injector orings and glow plugs and plug harness in 04 6.0 fire engine up ran great 10 minutes noticed a little white smoke coming from the exhaust engine made like a couple of knocks and locked up where the ccp comes out of valve cover it had spewed oil out enough to have it literally running out of filter my next step is to pull the plugs back out and see if I can manually turn the engine need some advice from a professional
Good info. Think my 06 has a leak at the bed plate. Looking forward to getting it down there to ya soon. Truck came with studs and BP egr but zero receipts. Really would like to know what I got and what I need
What's your opinion on the OEM battery cables or more specifically the terminals? I think they represent a weakness in the main electrical power circuits. Also, how do you all feel about Optima Red Top batteries?

Do a 7.3 one. Show some love haha. I’m 26 and been driving a 7.3 for fun. Old work horse. Have a 6.7 and a 6.2 gas truck but enjoy the old 7.3

I'd be selling that thing
Can't give it away
The brake master switch/ cruise cancel was always hot for some reason. Hot being energized.
