Ooooo that reference is trickier than it looks. Don't be too hard on yourself, this is still a great attempt! You've nailed the angles on the ladder and the left side in particular. You're building that artistic eye and muscle memory and its okay to be not be happy with everything you make!
Thanks a bunch
Oh I love it!! There's so much love in this piece.
For the feeling of discomfort with drawing people's houses, why not look for staged real estate pictures? Usually those can be very creative but don't feel quite so intimate. Also sometimes you can come across something fun and quirky.
Going over your alotted time or feeling like you want to continue isn't a bad thing imo. I've always said you need to cultivate a love of the craft and process itself before you can truly shine, so getting that "I don't want to stop" feeling is a really good sign!! If you get the urge, I say lean into it.
Ooooh that's a great idea! Thanks for that :D I'll have to look into it. And thanks a bunch for the kind words of encouragement
You could try sketching pieces of the houses you've put together in FFXIV. It would be a fun tie in with your other videos. :D You could borrow Aya's house too if you want simple spots. (Oopss, should have waited until I finished the video. LOL)
LOL it's okay! And ahhhhhhhh thank you so much for offering Aya's place! I'd be happy to take you up on that so long as I know if there's anywhere you'd rather not have me draw. And yee I'm definitely thinking of tying everything together by drawing my builds. I'd like to try drawing some animal crossing stuff too when I eventually get to it XD
