Mega Moto 420cc Big Block Swap ~ Mini Bike Monday

- Today we take a Mega Moto 212cc and give it open heart surgery! We take the stock 212cc out and slap in a 420cc. We have to relocate the jackshaft and build an engine riser to get it squeezed into the frame. Then to finish it off I build a custom stainless steel exhaust. Stay tuned for the next episode where we take it out for a ride.

I understand what you saying bro but it's seems like the same Ole thing over an over he has some bad ass builds that he starts but it takes months to see another one I'm just sick of seeing the same Ole stuff when he can build better stuff way more awesome stuff an that's what people want to see instead of all these cheap basic same Ole videos a lot of channels do this just to make away check every month cause they have subs that joined because of the bad ass builds an trust me I know

That sounds like the 350X honda back in the day 😂. Heavy, lots of torque and you had to man handle it. Awesome 👌

Suggestion. When I have sealed bearings I remove them and pull out the seal for the inside then install a grease fitting in the tube. I’ve never had a bearing failure after doing this.

I'd just weld 2" sq tube to plate to get rise and strength at a much lighter weight

You can run a 30 series on a 420, i have a 2 seater kart with that setup. The belt wears faster than it would with a 40 series but the performance isn't bad for a $60 TC on a 13hp motor. I wouldn't do use it on a 420 with mods though, only stock.

Do they make a better fly wheel for a Tillotson 212 with electric start to keep electric start. So billet with the ring gear

I think I am going to make this a trike! Im still waiting on a 1" crankshaft version. Until they do that I don't think anyone will support them.
I love riding dirt bikes and I have a few ,one is the hemi with the stage one kit and tork covert and no governor ,it will take me anywhere I go with out no problem. The only problem I have is people not letting you ride in the woods because they think they own the world, there’s always some ass hole in the middle of the woods stopping me to tell me they own 100 acres and why I’m there. Really is depressing and I’m not bothering anyone .

do you really need a $10k bandsaw.....
You shouldn't build something unless it's of the quality that you could sell it or ride it yourself on a regular basis. This bike is junk, and it fails in both those categories, like so many of the channels out there that fabricate stuff. Red Beard is talented, and I think he can do better. It just takes some work and engineering. People want to see unique things, and I think he's capable of that. But just hacking together one chinese minibike after another...you know they aren't going to hold up or be something to ride for a long distance. When Red beard, the great fabricator, goes to the Winrock Offroad Park, what does he drive? A Honda Talon...not any of the things he's built. Maybe they weren't up to it; I dunno. Just trying to provide some constructive criticism. That 450 buggy he's building is really good, looks quality, and it took some time to build that. I applaud Red Beard for that project, and that's what people want to see more of - quality builds.

Why don't you build your own frame? Those Chinese minibikes are junk. You got to raise the center of gravity of the bike to get that engine and driven pulley in there. It looks hacky to jack the engine up like that, and no suspension. It's not something you're going to want to drive for a long time.
Good thing it wasn’t built for you. These frames actually hold up to quite a bit of abuse. If you want suspension get a dirt bike

It would be hard to fit this engine in that frame. It can be done but you would have to cut the bike apart to make it work.
