This series spiraled into one of our biggest and sketchiest builds ever lol. If you’re into this please HIT THE LIKE BUTTON so the algorithm can let us do more stuff like it! We’ll be dropping the other 2 parts this week
hi
❤️🔥
hey man so I became amember but cant find the discord link whats up with that?
Aeeeee The Lil Red!!!
That's my name!
Aeee Lil Red
Jerry actually risking his life for content, respect
i think he would do it just for fun tbh
Jerry actually making his voice do that for an ad
Jimmy has jumped off a building for content, yet I see no one respecting my boy 😤
He is the motorcycle guy after all
Nah stupid
Welcome to the world of small engine modification! DEFINITELY gonna need some aero, these things hit a wind wall around 70mph. Keep it rubber side down and between the ditches fellas!
I love your content carsandcameras!! + you guys are very funny
I've been commenting you guys! Ahh seeing your comment made my day!
Ike would have done 120 on it.
Y’all are the og’s ‼️
Do I smell a consultation collab? 😏
Can we please get more of the guys just working on their personal cars like the one with Nolan? I'd love to see what builds everyone would make if it was for their own car!
Realest comment
yeah, definitely would love seeing more like that.
You should not say " God's not welcome here " because he loves everybody
Donut is hitting that 2000s Discovery channel Zeitgeist more and more with every video. More motorcycle content like this please.
seriously!
Way, WAY more MOTORCYCLE stuff please and thank you!!🎉🎉
Absolutely. They need to figure out how to expand
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist8 lol wut
More motorcycle videos! 👊🏻✊🏻👊🏻✊🏻 braaaap braaaaap
Jerry balancing the mini bike on a shop stool 6 feet away from a vehicle lift is such a relatable scenario - you have the right tool for the job, but you use something not at all designed to do what you need it to.
Hey now, let's be reasonable. That lift was six whole feet away...😂
He's just trying to provide more content for Real Mechanic Stuff next video about non compliance with OSHA...
the mistake is trying to reason, none of this fit within the range of reasonable.
Not only is it the wrong tool, the wrong tool is on wheels.😅😂
I appreciate the explanations of what everything is for. I'm not a vehicle guy at all, but I do enjoy understanding the workings of things even if I'm not into working on them. This channel has been a lot of fun for me to watch.
My life is literally better because of you
Nice job guys, once again thank you for your constant hardwork!
I love how Jeremiah's videos have a Jeremiah-vibe all throughout. That Valvoline segment with the Julie Andrews nod was friggin' amazing.
Just missing a “yo momma” joke thrown in every now and then.
I know right Donut > Mad Men! If I need to sell something I hiring them as my ad agency!
You just made me scroll back to the Valvoline ad segment.
I'm driving engagement on this comment because I think the Donut guys deserve more money from their Valvoline deal
Like Adam sandler
Phenomenal video! So happy you guys are making this series. Definitely the content I like to see. Don’t feel bad about stretching the videos out a bit. It seemed like there was a lot that had to be cut out so you could make the video shorter. I wish you guys could have a side video with extra content or behind the scenes or something.
You definitely need to mess with the gearing, id try out 15(clutch)/53(rear sprocket). Max porting and polishing the head does sooo much improvement in air flow too. Also port matching and scoring the whole intake manifold helps with atomization of fuel.
Jerry is far more dedicated to the risks involved than everyone else here. Props buddy. I’d be nervous to go past 6k RPMs.
FULL SPEED AHEAD! let's get to 10k!
Mini bikes are sketchy but not that bad I have the same one and mine redlines at 7k rpm making about 10hp shits fast but controable
a weedwacker does more then 6k and you hold that right next to your chest
@FootF-mt7pd agrees started riding dirtbike last summer, been riding a 125cc finally got the courage hop on the kawasaki 300 crazy how more stable I felt on that bike.
dudes a literal engineering graduate. yea he's a lot smarter than he portrays himself on screen.
Jimmy has such little brother energy
you didnt have to fry his ass like that bro 😂
@@PlayboyKeon I know right!
Glad to see you guys putting important info out there about the dangers of stock parts. So many people just run them de-governed and blow them apart.
If you want to truly hit 100 MPH on a mini bike, yall definitely need to get a 3" Tillotson block with a ARC stroker crank and rod with M5 gas.
Nah, get the stronger Wildcat 223. They prolly should have went 2 stroke.
@nezabytes 3" tilly with a stroker crank is litterally a 263cc monster brother
Jerry actually risking his life to prove someone wrong, respect
how is he? curious
@@melvindoo2396 It's a bike meant to do 20 and they are trying to push it to 100, with all the modifications and increase in fuel air and compression it's basically a grenade. When the dude said "you better not blow my foot off" it was a genuine concern. But to be fair most engines are grenades we have all accepted as part of our lives.
@martinc7561 i think you think engines are much weaker than you think. Theres a reason they upgrade multiple parts that dont directly give it horsepower, it overall strengthens the motor as well. Only time it becomes a grenade is when you push it past the upgraded parts spec. Once those upgrades are on, its no longer "meant" for 20 mph. Its meant for whatever horsepower the upgrades can handle within their specifications. Just like with a regular unmodded motor. Its not even close to a grenade because they're operating it under the new modification's specifications. 😂
"It's not called faith... it's called smart"
Great content BTW, looking forward to the next parts.
It's called...uh...uh...SMART
The only issue with that is we can see the MAC toolbox he has outside. A smart man doesn't buy tool truck brands, they get the part numbers off the truck, then look for whatever the parent company out of Taiwan is
A smart _and_ *lucky* man would use made in USA vintage tools
14:34 *V-TEC noises*
You guys make the best commercials ever 🤣
I would love to see a low bike and high bike series like for 150cc for 300cc or for 600cc. I feel like smaller cc would be much more fun
Low bike would be too dangerous 😂😂😂
Man that's such a good idea. A high / low series for motorbikes. That would be awesome!
Honestly a low and a high Grom would be the best thing to happen on this channel.
Greatest idea ever!
That's a great idea
Even though this is a sketchy series for you all to film (thank you everyone on the team for taking some risk!!), this is the first time in a while I’ve been REALLY excited for donut content to come out! Reminds me of the good ole days!
Those days never went anywhere...
@@cenciende9401 Wish unboxing videos... blah
@@cenciende9401 as much as I want to agree with you, I just can’t. The content has slowly changed over the years and it’s not bad but I don’t look forward to it. Opening Wish content is not the same as up to speed. Regardless, I will always watch and enjoy Donut media.
Loved seeing the breakdown and assembly, with Jerry's hilarious commentary.
Anything with jerry in it’s good. And it may not be a real bike but as someone who works on bikes I’m happy to see him work on bikes and appreciate at least somewhat showing us him working on it and building the engine
as a motorcycle guy who used to play with minibikes, I thought I wouldn't care for this content as I had been through it all already. I was surprised though, Jeremy can really make the episode and the smile when he adjusted his ignition gap and got the bike to rev out had me smiling at home. Great content guys as always.
It’s great that the editors are now leaning into the community’s love for how Jerry pronounces the word “OARLL”
I laughed very hard at this, the way he says oil always gets me
Must be inspired by Rick Grimes
"HEY CORL!!!"
He said stinky OARLL 😂
He did great on the Ad!
3 to 18hp was an insanely good gain for such a small engine, with just swapped internals and a better carb. Well done. I honestly thought that little pewee grade engine would have been tapped by 12hp, and needed nitro or likely not feasible FI to go further.
I wish they would have said what cc/size engine they're using. 3.4 hp sounds like a 79 or 100-ish cc engine. Those Phatmoto bikes use a 79cc but have cheap clutch & some other cheap parts. With a better gopowersports clutch & few others parts one of those Phatmotos could be very reliable.
Whoever came up with the Tim Robinson edit deserves a raise, I spat out my milk when that came outta nowhere 😭
i love how these are filmed like those car tv shows but aren't as long or filled with all the boring stuff. good content, crazy i only just recently found this channel when it has almost 8m subs...
I'm *almost* jealous that you're just now finding it. You have a massive back-log of awesome content to catch up on! :)
I’m in the same boat just recently got onto this stuff
Dude, you literally need to get Up To Speed!
Loving this series. Keep it up yall
Back in ‘95 (16yrs old) I worked in an alternator/starter reman shop. Another shop down the way brought a go-cart by and would do laps in our side lot. My boss/uncle got out his mini bike and they would race. It finally evolved to them putting nitrous on the mini bike and go-cart. The mini bike was scary once the bottle started to empty you’ld have to lean forward to keep the front end down. Good times, you’re bringing back good memories.
Please keep at it with the motorcycle content, it's awesome!
Donut is the only channel where I hope there is a sponsor. 😂 no one does ads or content like these guys
They’re just really smart tbh
That's what ya get when a professional ad house starts a YT channel
Bro this is my first time catching your vids...you rock...you're getting to do all the things I used to dream about doing when I was younger...alot younger...God speed..
Mickey is one of the best dudes I have ever worked with in the industry. He was one of the only people our shop worked with that I looked forward to coming in to pick up parts or to go get parts from. Great man with a great shop.
Seems like a miserable old man
Honestly more surprised there are so many 'high performance' replacement parts for that specific engine.
The aftermarket is huge for these little engines. I’ve seen some making 30HP and they haul on light mini bikes and go karts. Fun and easy to work on too.
Predator 212's have about as much aftermarket support as ls engines
Fr the whole time I was thinking who tf out there making billet parts for this 😂
Oh gosh there's a huge aftermarket for small engines. Their parts are really cheap to produce and relatively easy. A lot of the world uses the hell out of small engines for bikes, just not the US cuz we're too SUV/Truck focused. A lot of asia, africa, and parts of Russia use a ton of small engines to get around.
In love with these crazy sketchy builds, and I feel that donut has the perfect hosts to do it
Make a high low bike series and use Chinese small engine bikes please, that'll be awesome!
70 on a mini is already crazy 😳 my mini does 55 and I'm not making it any faster intil I get brake upgrades 😂 love the video tho 👍🏻 I've been hoping you guys would do a full mini build sense before the first minibike video
you are supposed to use valve grinding compound on the new flywheel to make sure it evenly spins on the surface, and grind down any little pours
As he said, he probably just wants to get it to 100 miles an hour then throw it in the trash. He doesn't seem to have any particular love for the vehicle.
Im interested in finding out just how much was spent on this, im gonna guess way more than it wouldve been to just put a bigger motor in
JERRY! Now that I have your attention, I’m surprised you guys also didn’t do a billet block/bottom end, maybe a future modification, or did the part just not exist?
Oh hell yeah! I cannot wait for the other videos!
I'm pumped for the next two parts!!
Put a tiny turbo on it!
Hairdryer?
Absolutely love these motorcycle videos! 🏍
glad to see Jerry dropping in more two-wheeled contents on Donut
while i watch every video Donut puts out, i click a little faster when it’s a Jerry video. can’t wait for the rest of the series!
This is a great series. Hi-Low with mini bikes perhaps?!?
These Jerry minibike episodes are so good. I hope they keep making more in this series.
Not gonna lie. Jerry seems like he would be the best friend to anyone.
Jerry is the best. More Jerry vids!!!!
Pretty cool! You need to put a smaller sprocket on it if you want to try and hit 100 mph.
And taller tires.
Bike made with sketchy materials rotating at 9000 RPM, above acceptable danger for the common folk, but bellow the danger of a home brew steam powered rocket. As an engineer, I give this 10/10.
Jerry has reached mad scientist level of cool! Like Doc Brown!
Mickey sounds like he knows everything about anything he hasn't done.
Yeah not a big fan of Mickey. Imagine shitting on things for no reason, and then being an obstacle when they actually try. Why? What do you have to gain?
@@smooshfanultra it’s just a side effect of being a pessimist. I doubt he seriously wants them to fail he just can’t see things in an optimistic light
I think he is there for theatrical reasons, to be the voice of doubt that they need to prove wrong
I actually worked for him. He's extremely knowledgeable and knows what he's talking about. Terrible teacher but all around good guy
@@anthonybalmoja1800 this time he didn't, and how is someone so pessimistic an all around good guy 🤣
I had absolutely no idea there was a market for performance parts for small gas engines like that. So cool. Honestly, this is so much fun to watch. It would be super scary to drive it. I hope Jerry is wearing a helmet and pads for the 100 MPH attempt.
If there's no go fast parts for your engine you can have those custom made. Well known names like Wiseco, CP-Carrillo, Ferrea, SCAT, Crower etc. can do that for you, but you will be responsible for correct measurements and strength goals. Would be nice for the riding position changed to something similar to Top Fuel Motorcycle
Massive aftermarket for these small engines. You can build to mild to absolute beast running alcohol, E-85, and a ton of other fuels. Seen a few on nitrous as well.
Jerry's got that MotoGP airbag suit from a few months ago.
@@dellstudio10 I bet they go for nitrous here to callback to the other walmart mini bike
fyi those engines have a mechanical governor inside the crank case. It's a plastic gear with a spring clip on it. Remove it and cut down the shaft so it doesnt break off and you're good to go.
I’m hyped for this lil series.
Feels illegal to be this early
Welcome to the club
Lmao agreed
Same
right?
It doesn’t even say it’s on their page yet
Those motors usually have oil level sensors near the on switch that cut the engine if it thinks it’s too low and when you mod it to do higher rpm’s it’ll splash the oil around a lot and the sensor will cut off ignition thinking there’s no oil in it
Awesome, fun content! This video has a real grassroots feel that reminds me why I love motorsports
Those clutches are soo nice!
When they said Donut was going to do motorcycle content I wasn't expecting this. Gotta say, it's fantastic though
Jerry: “No faith?”
Mickey: “Oh, I have faith in you but this isn’t a junkyard, this is a garage.”
I understood that reference.
It'll run on hopes & dreams.
This is exactly the kind of mad doctor shit I want to see when I open UA-cam! Looking forward to the next 2 parts 🤘
You guys are awesome and nuts! Perfect combo!
Dude yes. I feel like those tires need taken care of lol. Definitely meant for... grip. More motorcycle stuff is always fun tho.
Pretty sure on the last dyno they had slicks on, but it’s real sunny where I’m watching so can’t see that well 😂
@@whitford0 You're right, they had different tires installed for the last dyno attempt.
I’m not even a motorcycle guy but jerry makes it look so fun. What a beast 🤣
The extras chiming in against Jerry is not a vibe that fits donut
Even though you didn't reach 100 mph i had fun watching donut family's effort specially my man jerimiah 🤘😎🔥💯
Never thought i would see this thing running after the crash test. The little thing looked like it was totaled. Lots of respect to you guys, especially jerry for risking it all ❤❤.
Being a part of the bike community it makes me SO happy to see donut coming out with more bike content, keep it up guys!!!
the fact that little guy has the ability to rip over 70 is enough to put the fear of god in me without even driving it
"you sure about that???" 🤣🤣
You guys are the life and soul of automotive youtube.
Every Donut video is informative like always, I love it!
Definitely one of my favorite series!!!
Need more builds like these🔥😌
Madness boys, well done; i eagerly await parts 2 and 3! 😆
Been hoping for more motorcycle content here! Great job guys! On another topic, have you ever considered an “Up To Speed” on Local Motors?
Just want to say I love you to the editor for putting in the howie scream @14:05
UA-cam premium has suggested this movie to me 3 times since I watched AND liked it. This video got the algorithm much excited.
Damn feels weird watching the video litteraly 3 minutes after posting. Keep up the godly content Donut.
I would never think that I would ever see a Full bolt on mini bike
This is going to be amazing. I cannot wait for more!
Can't wait for part 2 and 3 🙌
awesome series, love it guys :)
So stoked to see the walmart minibike again! Such a fun set of videos.
This is outstanding. So much fun.
Me watching Jerry assemble this engine with stock bore, stock cylinder head with stock ports, stock timing, stock crankshaft, and a giant carb-"That thing is never going to make 28hp. And it's probably going to run like ass."
I haven't finished watching but yeah, it made even less power than the stock 3.5hp. Wow
This feels like old Donut. Love it!
You guys need to make more .oto content it absolutely slaps bro.
That sound design tho🔥
My recommendation is to change the wheels to a thinner wheels and larger diameter and also find a custom exhaust muffler to put on it as well it can help you gain a little bit more power.
I usually have zero interest in mini bikes, but damn this was a fun one to watch guys.
I love these motorcycle content! ❤
Same its right up my alley
Loving the motorcycle content! Keep it coming! Merch next!
Hell yeah!! So excited to see where it ends up 😍
I think Walmart sales of this bike has probably gone through the roof after these videos... I've been recently seeing people ride these all over the streets and trails here.
