      I live in rural Indiana, pizza burgers are on every menu in a diner but I've never in all my days seen one like the burger in this video. ours are normally a mild sausage Patty topped with onions, pizza marinara and melted mozzarella on a bun. Occasionally there is one place making theirs with a hamburger patty. But I've never seen a doughnut burger. I have heard of cronuts but never eaten one.

    I invented the doughnut with sliced American cheese back in 1988, but only famous within my own home. Much later about 20-25 years later it became famous in American food culture when a small restaurant started serving it. Not sure how they came across it but, we (only my mom and me) didn't have much food because we were poor, but we had a package of individually wrapped sliced American cheese and my mom brought some day old donuts and I figured I needed something to balance out the sweetness of the doughnut and all we had was sliced cheese. And it was delicious!

    Pizza burgers were the #1 selling thing in the cafeteria at my high school. But they didn't look like that. They were open faced buns with pizza toppings/sauce on it. They even put the recipe in our senior year book at our request because we were the 100th graduating class.

      Sure. But when you decide to be a vegetarian it's because you gathered yourself enough reasons on why it's not right to do so how bad you feel for eating another being's flesh, it doesn't matter if it tastes good, you just feel sick. It's not like you can go back and forth occasionaly lol
      Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking trash about Curly whatsoever, It just caught me off guard.lol

    That dude is the very best vegetarian. Doesn't eat meat, except when he's agreed to try foods from all over the world for an internet show. I can respect his normal vegetarian choice simply because on these rare occasions he respected the "try new things" aspect here.

    • @rachelfd7107
      @rachelfd7107 8 років тому +1

      To me, he's the very worst vegetarian, because he isn't a vegetarian. Doesn't matter if its for ethics or health, a vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat. After a month of not eating meat, you can probably call yourself a vegetarian, but once you start breaking that streak with eating meat, even for a show, you're NOT one. xD
      And if he is an ethical vegetarian, the choice to just "try new things" is outrageous. You can't just decide when you do and don't care about something like that.

    • @DeepPastry
      @DeepPastry 8 років тому

      Think you've confused a vegetarian with a Vegan. One is someone who predominately eats plants and the other is basically a nut job. Where did the insane label "ethical vegetarian" BS come from? Oh, I know, you pulled it out of your... Not everyone becomes a vegetarian for the same reasons, some have decided to base it on insanity. Please stop being crazy.

    • @rachelfd7107
      @rachelfd7107 8 років тому

      +DeepPastry if someone doesn't eat meat because of health, they're a "health" vegetarian, if someone doesn't eat meat because they don't want to kill animals, they're an "ethical" vegetarian. It's not BS, it's commonly used in conversations like these.

    • @DeepPastry
      @DeepPastry 8 років тому +1

      That's an idiotic reason, and guess what, you constantly eat animals, can't be helped. Why don't you look up the amounts of animal parts the FDA allows in all plants used for consumption. Sure, they're not the cuddly mammals (cuddly implying you've never ever interacted with said animals for real) but insects and rodents, but animals none the less. And that's normal everywhere.
      Most vegetarians don't make those distinctions, you have just as Vegans do.
      If it meant that much to you, you would eat meat regularly, but only from farms/ranches that treat their animals well, and ensure they are put down as quickly and painlessly as possible. Reward those who do it right.
      Your belief, if adopted by everyone would require the death of millions of cows, chickens, and sheep, etc. No way could our meat animals survive in the wild; besides being so far removed from the original forms and bred to remove most of the requirements to survive in the wild, there's too many of them for any environment to absorb (you'd be subjecting them all to a slow and horridly painful death, plus the extinction of many of the native animals) just look up what is happening to, and because of, the whitetail deer in the Eastern US. It's ugly, and it's been on going since the 1970's.
