I worked for the beer distributor who sold these in my area of the US when they first came out, back then it also contained 2 red bulls worth of caffeine. So I bought one of each flavor there were only 4 kinds at the time, I go home and start drinking them. 6 hours later I wake up on my buddy's couch who lives half way across town and was like oh my god I drove here! He said no apparently you ran here, full sprint then kept talking about going to the bars, then you fell asleep on my couch.

I have a buddy who’s legitimately married now because of four loko. He was balls deep in can four when I jokingly asked him when he was going to marry his girlfriend. I could tell it was a sensitive subject with her since she had a snarky reply to the question and BAM! He got down on his knee with no ring and asked her right there to marry him. 7 years later and 2 kids together and still going strong!
I went a drinking spree after my grandma died in December. It got the job done for a great price! I live in Wisconsin and famous for our alcohol consumption and im proud to say 4 loco has contributed to our reputation

My buddy drank 2 cans (that's 8 lokos) and left us at the bar. Apparently he ended up rolling on the sidewalk out front while spewing everywhere. My other friend and I came out and saw an ambulance parked. We walked towards it and laughed at the idea of seeing him in there. He was in there. He told us he woke up in the hospital the next morning with no idea what happened. Thanks four loko!

Then again, I saw a bunch of underclassmen a few years ago buying giant bottles of Olde English / other cheap malt liquor and whole packs of 5 hour energy shots to mix into it.... I'd recommend just mixing a 16oz Monster w/ 7.5 oz of vodka; it's basically the same mix as the original four loko.

It's like how pinball used to be banned back in the day. It's dubious that the ban would actually hold up, b/c they didn't make pass a law, the FDA just made up a new rule, saying "we said alcohol is okay and caffeine is okay but we never said you could mix them even though it appears to be safe and has been done for hundreds of years". And it only applies to bottlers. Bars and people are still allowed to mix them. :-/

Alcohol makes you drowsy and that’s why at some point you black out, however caffeine prevents that so you would actually be proper drunk drunk with no stop button. I am guessing that’s why they had it removed from the drink. Also the reason why we feel like shit after a night of jagerbombs

Yep. The new formula they got after those sorority girls died is nothing like the original. I used to grab dominos, then shotgun a can in the shower when I got off work fridays. 30 seconds to LIT. I bought 2 of them once. That night did not end well. I wound up sleeping in my yard. 1 was way more than enough.

Alcohol makes you drowsy and that’s why at some point you black out, however caffeine prevents that so you would actually be proper drunk drunk with no stop button. I am guessing that’s why they had it removed from the drink. Also the reason why we feel like shit after a night of jagerbombs
