it should of really been an easy choice. they have Atlantis with access to the most advanced and knowledgeable database in the known universe aswell as full access to the entire Asgards knowledge and technology and they still cant even use a fraction of it. what possible use would the device give them.
@@admiz6592 Not necessarily; "inferior" technology (inferior relative to Alteran standards, anyhow) may be easier to grasp and/or manufacture. Naquadah generators are one example of advanced technology that Earth can use with ease.
Not entirely most of it is unusable because their technological stages that they have not figured out as of yet .........eg they have not figured out how to create zpm .The Ancients probably describe it like it was Child's Play leaving out several important steps... having access to more advanced but not as equally advanced would incrementally boost your understanding of the Sciences that create higher technology
If you explain creating a hydropower Dam to a ancient Roman scientist you'll leave out a lot of steps that are fundamentally to he or she understanding you won't go to the process of explaining how the motor works through magnetic conduction and the whole process of making the motor are whole direct an alternate current Works to create electricity in the turbine

The tauri have access to Asgard knowledge but their ships didn't suddenly start traveling between galaxies at the same speed as Asgard vessels
