The main reason I like Ben Affleck Batman more than bale’s is that Affleck’s Batman is brutal and much more intimidating. He just kills terrorists and other groups willing to kill people. He is not afraid to kill people if needed. Bale’s Batman is kind of too righteous and doesn't kill people who are willing to do harm to the people he loves.
Chandrasekara Saraswathi This DCU is set in another dimension. Nolan's Batman was created with the idea of "Justice". The extended cut was sp great.
Having just rewatched the Theatrical Cut of BvS for the first time since 2016, it's insane just how much important stuff is removed. CU Movie Buff We’ll see him. The problem was that idiots complained about Batman being too dark in this film so they tried to make him a bit more comedic in justice League which ruined it. If people realises how good the BvS Batman was then I imagine Justice League going much better
@@xxicemaster314 I agree, and I'm hopeful that it will eventually happen. I was just rewatching BvS in my COVID social distancing movie marathon, and I forgot how much I really like it. It made me lament for what Justice League could have been.
There are numerous things I love about Batfleck's character development from here to ZSJL: 1. Pay attention to him, he listens to his teams, he lets them brainstrom, and I like the subtle nod Diana and Bruce did as if they knew this team is going to work well. 2. His reliance to faith than reason. He was obsessed with hatred, fear, rage, and suffering in BvS which made him a different character (which was the point of the movie), here you can see he is motivated in saving the world like he was in his early years. 3. His words are rather inspiring than saddening. He motivates his teams and boosts their confidence. He is selfless and caring. 4. The way Ben Affleck delivers his performance as Bruce Wayne is very elegant and badass. I can say, this movie fleshes out the Bruce Wayne side than Batman. It's given that Ben can flawlessly played both sides, but Bruce Wayne is one way to show the character progresses and it is also one way to appreciate his character arc from BvS to ZSJL.

In defense of the DC films, the studio has fucked them over forcing them to catch up. They're trying to do too much too fast. Compare to the MCU where each principle member of the Avengers had their own solo establishing film before the team up (and Hawkeye and Widow at least had supporting roles to establish them), where the DCU only has a Superman, a Batman-Superman team up, and Wonder Woman then brings in the other guys in League, it's terribly rushed and it shows. The characterization works though, though I'm wondering how effective the cynicism that is replaced by hope thing, really is.

Honestly around the fifth time watching it I had an “aha!” Moment with lex and that he is so small and helpless and his father abused him horribly which caused him to naturally hate anything that had “superiority” over him (like when the senator denied his shipment into the US) and so naturally Superman and Batman would be individuals that he’d naturally hate. It’s not about him being weird or crazy but about him trying to prove to the world that his mind and intellect could defeat the two strongest beings on earth.
Warner Bros wanted Batman to brand Lex Luthor. Chris Terrio fought against this, saying that the story needed to end with Bruce Wayne becoming a better man. WB basically just wanted Batman to be dark and edgy and violent, and for there to be no lesson to be learned. The lesson of BvS is that Bruce was wrong.
@@sambridgers9543 "The studio seemed to take this position after BvS that my writing was too dark and that this was their problem. That ending was a point over which I explicitly went to the mat with the studio again and again. the movie was riddled with plot holes and was an overall incoherent mess.
"This is how it all CAVES in. Civilisation on the WANE, MANNERS out of the window."
Brilliant, so subtle but sadly the writing is overlooked in this movie.
What does that sentence mean?
Tobi Kayode It’s more of a verbal pun. ‘Wane’ sounds the same as Wayne, and ‘Manners’ sounds like Manor. He’s dropping hints regarding Wayne Manor, i.e. he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman
@@kinginthenorth247 Yep, just as Lex revealed he knew who Clark was as Superman. If anything, this movie showed WHY LEx is so dangerous; the fact he's one of the smartest men on the planet to figure out the secret identities of Superman and Batman, and using what he knew about them to play them against each other, just to show the world Clark was a fraud like he viewed him to be due to the way people saw him as a god.

What the fuck happened to Batman in Justice League? While BvS wasn't as great as I expected it to be, it was still pretty good. Batfleck was the best part. He was super terrifying, Batman should be. What happened in Justice League? He was so goddamn campy I felt like I was watching an Adam Sandler episode. He made jokes! This isn't Marvel it's the goddamn Batman!

Same he was everyone's bitch in JL, superman's, Wonder woman's, stephen wolf's, aquaman's, yes both superman and ww can kill batman in a second if they wish, that doesn't mean he is going to take shit from them
The main reason I like Ben Affleck Batman more than bale’s is that Affleck’s Batman is brutal and much more intimidating.
This Batman is much more reckless, brutal and overall intimidating for that matter. Both work fantastically in their own ways. I loved Nolan's idea for Batman, but I also love Affleck's Batman. The extended cut was sp great.
Having just rewatched the Theatrical Cut of BvS for the first time since 2016, it's insane just how much important stuff is removed. That "Who would believe me, I'm insane" line is perfect at showing just how easily Luthor can manipulate everyone and is just biding his time before he escapes. We really need the Snyder Cut to be a success so we can restore the Snyder-Verse and see his true vision for all these characters. Plus that Deathstroke vs Batfleck project sounds pretty epic as well.
Snyder Cut was a success but Warner Bros dont want to continue with it .disappointing foolish on their part

@@xxicemaster314 I agree, and I'm hopeful that it will eventually happen. I was just rewatching BvS in my COVID social distancing movie marathon, and I forgot how much I really like it. It made me lament for what Justice League could have been.
There are numerous things I love about Batfleck's character development from here to ZSJL:

Warner Bros wanted Batman to brand Lex Luthor. Chris Terrio fought against this, saying that the story needed to end with Bruce Wayne becoming a better man.
