Im in la. My car wont start. Everyone i know including machanic said it was the starter. Battery was fine. It made one single click and didnt turn over. After awhile it smelled of burning. So im changing it rn. In the middle of the night. Thanks to you video. Mines a 2004 saturn ion level 1
I knew them videos saying take the manifold off had to be complete bs! I gotta do it this weekend thanks for this video ,it's saving my ass! Laying in the snow is going be bad enough
Thank you Mechanic in the Making, from So. California, you were short and to the point and saved my a lot of aggravation. Hope all goes well with you and yours.
cool vid. i may try and take intake out to get at the two battery connections to clean them of corrosion. mine clicks sometimes instead of starting. then it starts. not sure if i need a new starter or the corrosion is causing it. battery is great
Hey bro, there above the starter, is that the crankshaft sensor? That's what I'm trying to replace and I'm using professor UA-cam to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated 😅
@@1Guy1Wrench I did. But you skipped the termin part and didn't record putting them on. That's the most important part. Cause now I have one wire loose.
These are the best type of videos quick but informative and straight to the point.

Seems obvious but the idea to use your phone camera to see the bolt hole is brilliant. Thanks man

Thank you so much!!! 👍
Where did the yellow wire go
Is the 2007 starter similar to the 2005?
Depends On Your Engine Size
What was that other bolt?
thank you
Bro you move the cam to much. Do both those wires go on one.terminal and the little one goes on alone??
That’s how it is fixing on a car lemme see you do it

Im about ready to try this on my daughters car, ill let you know how it goes
How did it go
@@drdromd420 wasnt too bad, getting the hidden bolt lined up was the worst part, all in all, not too bad of a job
What part is right on top of that is that where the oil panel is and the transmission is? Its leaking right above the starter
I believe so yeah
No need for that bullshit, go from underneath. Thanks
Are you doing that repair in the snow?
I am
I live in Minnesota and am about to be doing this tomorrow outside. High of 35 degrees. Should be fun 😝
So will this work on a 2003 Saturn ion? Is it the same ?
If it has the same engine it should
What is the bolt sizes?
15s I believe
Man I looked all over BFE (butt *uck Egypt) looking for my starter
What size engine is this?
Man I Don’t Even Remember & I Just Realized That There’s 3 Engine Sizes For This Year My Bad Bro But Something’s Telling Me The 2.2L
Brooo where tf is it at you just went straight to the part didn’t even show where it’s located
If you watched the video I explained where it was
