His dramatic improvement in 2018/2019 is beyond comprehension. Most top sprinters show early signs of brilliance, but Bolling was definitely a late bloomer. Amazing.
Boling was not a “late bloomer”. Even in sixth grade he was showing decent times for his age, certainly above the average of 13 year old females. A 54 second 400 is a pretty good time, and a 21 second 200 certainly is very impressive.
Amazing how he wasn’t even fast in middle school. Usually you know all the fastest kids by second grade. This is not all hard work though, his genes are obviously superior but just late blooming I guess.
@@mindopotato3876 I wasn’t denying his hard work but there just no way anyone gets to that point without superior genetics for that particular purpose.
swites, very true, seen that happen many times. Here where I live, in south Africa, we had fast under 13 guy, ran very close to 11 sec at that age. Guy who was almost last , over 12 sec. That chap at back of field is now at top, the 11 sec kid is nowhere. One developed physically late, the other not.
@@mindopotato3876 I played hard for hours every day has a kid... I ended up being a good athlete. I was not training for that but it worked out. Same with your guy.
If you knew anything about football, you''d know that speed alone doesn't make a good football player, especially QB. There's been a lot of guys who have blazing speed and tried to play the game, but were total scrubs. You have to be coordinated, strong, competitive, aggressive, and, probably most importantly, brave. It's not a game for cowards or for guys who can't handle getting lit up. You can train all day long, you can look like a Greek god, but if you don't have the proper psychological makeup for the game, you might as well buy a ticket and watch.
@@ABLQuality He did turn 19 in June or July of that year, which is weird. We usually turn 18 during senior year or the summer thereafter. He turned 18 before his senior year, so maybe his parents had him start preschool at 5 (rather than 4)....idk
This video seems to suggest you can get to his level by "hard work" which is patently untrue. Sprint speed is primarily determined at birth. You can tune it to an extent but that's about it.
Dior, simple reply. Don't know how old you are, a child, teenager or adult. I grew up at the age of 15, suddenly started running much faster times, I was becoming an adult, stronger, etc. Boling was probably a small chap at 13, 14 yrs. Then he started growing. Throw in some hard training he must have done, and there you have it. And he probably had good genes as well.
Two observations: (1) they all had the same wind-aid in that 100m, (2) a trans-women, with this kind of male hormone base, would be stupid...and indeed, is. I look forward to what Matthew is going to accomplished!
A 6th grader doing 13.3 & 27, that is GOOD.
One of H-Towns best sprinting talents ever! I hope he does great things in the future 🥇
Sure hope he does great as well!
Matt Boling got some speed for sure
True should be interesting what happens in the coming seasons
The best high school sprinter ever.

@@congero113 where do you get the idea that it’s all genetics? How can you tell that Boling was successful because of his genetics
it doesn’t work like that in track lmao
he worked his ass off. you don’t know the fast kids by 2nd grade and he wasn’t a late bloomer either u just don’t know trsck
Boling destroyed the thought " only people with genetics can be sprinters"
And fixed mindset
This channel deserve way more subs
no it doesnt ... the narrative sounds to computer-like
He would have just been a late developer. Takes awhile to develop your speed if you don't yet have the muscular power that's required.

he’s a hard worker
I hope he runs a legal sub 10
"Infamous" means well known for some bad quality or deed. So i think you could have chosen a better word.
correct
he ever learns to take off faster he will be fastest human ever
Puleaze!!!
It's been Soo long where have you been
Sorry for the delay I've been having trouble with my editing software.
This proves I can work hard to get faster

Quite a fen'm
There's nobody winning even high school meets without the speed gene. It's way too common.
agreed.. it's nonsense to assert you can get to sub 45 400m by hard work..
Speed gene.. ha ha!!!
I hope he hasn't peak yet. I'd like to see a little diversity in short distance races more often.
I’ve always rooted for the underdog. I also prefer hard work over a gift of athleticism.

Some of the pronunciations are laughable.
