Your routines are always so good. You keep each section short so I don't get bored. And the speed and variety work well for what I need. You have a good feel for what us 'senior' people need and can do. Thank you!
I run programs for a senior community and I play your videos for our residents regularly. They love your workouts so much, and while the residents don't speak or understand any English they still enjoy your workouts. They're easy to follow and also easy to modify for those who have limited mobility. As a coordinator, THANK YOU for the time and energy for making these workouts accessible to any and all persons.
Thank YOU so much for what you do! A program coordinator is not easy! I am so happy to hear the residents enjoy the workouts, that makes me so happy! I am always here for you all!! Take care, Meredith
This was great, I really enjoyed it, I will definitely be doing this a lot more. Thank you so much Meredith, I’m going to do your full body seated stretch now 🥰xxx
Just finished the dishes and your band stretch seems to alleviate any back issues that usually come from washing dishes. Thank you Charlie in Syracuse New York.
Your resistance band workouts really are the best, quick and effective. I really feel like my whole body has worked. Are there any of your workouts you would recommend to increase flexibility? Thank you for all you do ❤
Glad you like them! Thank you! Here is a link to my stretching workouts, I think you will enjoy: www.seniorfitnesswithmeredith.com/workouts/?tag=stretching,%20stretches,%20stretching-exercises-for-seniors,%20stretching-for-seniors,%20stretching-routines
Great question! It can be difficult. Work on "feeling" those muscles being used, and then during the movement/exercise make the brain and body connection to those areas. Again, it can take time as we learn the muscles...but you can do it!!
Are you aware of how fast you switch from one band sitting down exercise to the next? For seniors 70 years and older its a bit rushed. I have copd also, so impossible to do sets one after the next at the rate you show but then again seniors start at age 55 so if you are a healthy younger senior not in retirement yet, im sure its ok.
Thank you for the comment. I do have other workouts at different levels and intensity. This is intermediate which does mean it is faster. Also, so many seniors are at so many different levels it is difficult to only slow things down. I hope you find ones tat are more manageable and enjoyable for you! I am here to help!
Love the 15-25 minute workouts which I can handle and do everyday! Thanks Meredith!❤

Love having these shorter options. Makes it easier for me to squeeze some exercise into a busy or lazy day. Thank you!

Thank you Maria!
This was perfect after a day working behind a computer screen. Thank you!
Perfect! I am glad you enjoyed it!
This is a perfect add on to cardio-- especially since women in my age group need more strength training to maintain lean muscle. Thanks!
Absolutely! Great idea, and yes we do!! I am proud of you!
Another good work out. I like the workouts that are 30 minutes or less. That seems like a more manageable time for me.
Thank you! I enjoy these shorter workouts as well!
🎉 TY!

Thank you Meredith, I'll give them a try😊.
How do you keep the focus where it belongs (back, lats, etc) and not put all the stress on your arms?
