    In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through an easy to follow, seated lower body strengthening routine using resistance bands.
    Resistance bands are a great way to add strength training to any routine. They are easy to use and come in many different "weights" that fit all fitness levels. For this workout, Meredith is focusing on your lower body and core areas. This is an all seated routine which is perfect for anyone just starting out or with any issues with standing while exercising.
    As always, only do movements that you feel comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Take breaks when you need to and don't forget to keep your water close by:)

    Thank you, I loved this work out. What number New Balance are you wearing? They look very comfortable. I wore 928's for years but they changed them and I don't like them anymore. Have a blessed day!

    Nice workout. How do you keep the band wrapped around your thighs from cutting in?

      I use the flat bands, so if I lay them flat it won’t dig in so much. Sometimes it wants to, and I just adjust it:) Take care!

      Hi Alice, yes it can help! Doing strength and cardio will help get the tummy toned! You can do it!

    I have your bands playlist and will systematically go through it twice a week…your teaching style is wonderful. I have never used bands and am enjoying the challenge. No sugar, low carb diet, and exercise for my joints…4doctors had nothing to offer for painful knees except meds. After3 months and loss of 19 lbs and your videos, I feel physically and mentally stronger! Thank you Meredith!

    Thanks for another good workout. I like the variety for lower body exercises. With this one, I found that my arms seemed more fatigued that my lower body from trying to hold the band tight.

      Hi Varina! If arms seem tired, maybe getting a loop band which you don’t need to hold will help. I don’t want you straining the upper body when it’s the lower body working:) I hope this helps! Take care, Meredith

    That was a really good 1! I did this one this morning! For some reason my legs were recently swelling, just got over having Covid. So I’m trying to get myself back into working out! For 3 was I hadn’t really done anything cause my chest was feeling really heavy. But now I’m trying to bounce back!

    Brilliant! 👌 I've just done the upper and lower workouts together! Should these be done once a week? I never know which exercises to do to get a good balance of cardio and other exercises on a weekly basis!

      Hi! Great question! If you do the upper and lower on the same day, wait at least one day between to give the muscles time to rest and grow. Then the days between can be cardio, balance, and other types of workouts days:) I hope this helps!!💖
