I received my Headrush MX5 a couple of days ago to hopefully replace my HX Stomp. Took some getting used to, but I am getting the hang of it now. Nice to see informational videos like this on UA-cam so we can learn. Thanks 🙂

Great tutorial on Para EQ! I'm used to visually seeing the bands, so I rarely touch the Para EQ, since I can't see what's happening, but you cleared it all up! Thanks!! 🤘
Might have missed in the video but how do I make #2 and #3 a separate type? If 1 is set to Notch and 4 is set to shelf, are 2,3 also then set to notch?
Sorry mate.... bit lost/confused. Ive set up my tone to almost "perfect". I just only get a high pitched "click" sound when I hit individual higher notes when I pick. Ive been trying to get rid of it with the para EQ but cant seem to get it done. Any guidance? thanks!
Hmm. Without hearing it, from what you’ve described my thought would be a guitar setup issue, or maybe your picking hand is hitting a pickup..? Did you try the looper trick from this video? Is the click still there? If it is, try making a point on one band, increase gain and sweep around to try and find it. Then pull it out. That’s all I can think off right now. Good luck!

Yep, sure can. Obviously just takes up 2 blocks.

You can’t change 2 & 3, they are set at peak, which is similar to notch but won’t get as narrow.
