As always beautiful tones with the headrush! Question, what strings do you use on your Gretsch? I have trouble keeping mine in tune. Have tried numerous strings and my next step will be to purchase a roller bridge and try that. Any thoughts?
D’addario EXL110 (10-46). I used to work as a guitar tech so I do my own setups. Without seeing your guitar…my best guess is that strings are binding in the nut (you might hear pinging sounds as you use the tremolo). I am getting mine soon. I am sure you are absolutely right and I already heard about how great the factory presets are. I will eventually apply myself to diving deeper into the mx5. I have the die hard Eventide H3000 and I know it like the palm of my hand. And I wish to thank You so much for your kind and supportive comments. God Bless.

For rookie, VERY poor teaching for follow along. Fingers in the way of the screen so cannot see some values, went very quicky screen to screen, didn't explain parameter values and what they do. Booo!
You could try Doctor McFarland videos. He moves a little slower through the settings. Boo!! ua-cam.com/users/livejubSsKTRzrM?feature=share
