Also, nobody deserves to be treated like crap. Isn't it weird how you never hear about someone method acting a character who is a nice person?
@KoobanHooves I think it was the other away around. Spider-Man was originally going to be leaving the MCU. Sony and Marvel’s deal was coming to an end, Marvel didn’t want to pay Sony to keep the deal going. Now how they would’ve done that I don’t know, like would they have just separated the universes and made that some story point, or would they have just kept going like normal and just never mentioned any other Marvel Studios characters again? But I think the original idea was just to show that these previously seemingly unconnected Spider-Man related movies Sony had been making were in the same universe as what would’ve previously been MCU Spider-Man. But they reached a new deal, and I think Morbius reshoots happened after that.
@KoobanHooves These things you’re talking about don’t matter. How would they have done the Multiverse thing without Dr. Strange? Some other way. Maybe they would’ve done it like the Spider-Verse movies Sony also makes. Maybe they would’ve done it like the ‘90s Spider-Man cartoon did it. There’s all kinds of ways they could’ve done it. Doctor Strange wasn’t even the way they were originally going to do it, originally it was going to be that America character that got introduced in the second Strange movie. Spider-Man is accused of killing Mysterio. Mysterio is a Spider-Man character. They don’t need the MCU to continue on that storyline. You just don’t bring up the Tony Stark connection this particular version of Mysterio has...which wouldn’t even kind of be a hard thing to do.
@KoobanHooves Would Sony have done the team up movie that teamed up three of their different Spider-Man characters, that was in-developed without Marvel Studios for a time? Yeah, I think they would have. That seems like a weird question given No Way Home wasn’t even Sony’s first multiverse Spider-Man team-up movie. My point about the America Chavez character wasn’t that they would’ve used her. You asked how they would’ve done the movie without Doctor Strange...but originally Doctor Strange wasn’t even going to be used for this. So it’s not like Doctor Strange is some integral part of the equation. They would’ve just done it a different way without those characters. The ‘90s cartoon used a version of Madame Web in a role somewhat similar to Doctor Strange in No Way Home. So that’s a direction they could’ve went. They could’ve also just used some machine like Into the Spider-Verse. They could’ve even used Kingpin (Sony does own Kingpin, and it turns out his appearances in things like the Fox Daredevil movie and Netflix show were Sony licensing the character out) in a very similar role as Into the Spider-Verse and set up up as a villain for future movies. They could’ve also used something like that Tablet of Time and Silverman...which also could’ve set up Kingpin for future movies. There’s all kinds of different ways that it could’ve been done.
@KoobanHooves Sony licensing Kingpin to Fox was something that I think came out around 2015. It was assumed Fox had the rights, because he showed up in the Daredevil movie, but Fox paid Sony to use him. Unless something changed for some reason, he should still be owned by just Sony since there was nothing for Marvel Studios to actually get when the Daredevil rights reverted back to them from Fox. There’s no reason to assume the quality of the movie would’ve been any better or worse than it was. It’s not like Marvel makes the movies, and them not being their would’ve changed how good or bad it was. Sony are the ones that hired the writers and director. It’s not like there was any setup for the Doctor Strange stuff that No Way Home is doing. The only thing that got set up was the public knowing Peter Parker is Spider-Man.

Keaton: Why am I in this movie? Sony: I don’t know. Keaton: Who even is Morbius? Keaton: But I was an actual Spider Man villain! And Batman! Sony: Sure, sure. Whatever you say Mitch. Keaton: Do you even know who I am? Sony: I think so. Didn’t you play Detective Chimp?
I really love Michael Keaton as an actor, and I hope that Beetlejuice 2 brings him even more success. It really disappoints me that Keaton wasn't completely honest about his cameo in Morbius. In earlier interviews for Morbius, Michael Keaton went on record as being confused at first. But he admitted that once he heard Jarod Leto say, "It's Morbin time!", Keaton wept for an hour an signed on for fifty more cameos in fifty future sequels.
Yeah, it's like anything that is NOT Spider-Man is handled very poorly. You have to remember though, Sony did create the animated Spider-Verse movies and those win and are nominated big awards like Oscars. They also ARE in charge of making Tom Holland's movies. You can say Marvel is involved and this and that but at the end of the day Sony creates, makes and has final say on all of Tom's Spider-Man movies. They also made Toby's movies and Andrew's. Well handled he could not remember her name at all!
Asking the important questions
I can't expain it either. It's unexpainable.
I doubt they will ever be able to EXPAIN it
Keaton seems like he has no idea what this interview is about or for.
You spelled the word “explain” wrong in the thumbnail
I know he's Batman for a lot of people. But I'll always see him as Adrian.
Six Sinister. That's why. You are welcome!
2:10 LMAO
Intriguing
He had no idea what Tom holland or Laura Harrier’s names are 😂😂
I forgot the girls name as well.
People, it’s Doctor Strange’s spell, that’s how Vulture ended up in Morb World
It worked the other way around
Hey, at least he didn't end up in 'Madam Web'
“Morb”
The scene from the Morbius trailer wasn’t even in the movie lol.
The difference between sony and marvel movies is like night and day.
what does expain mean?
It means a former pain that no longer exists.
Keaton: Why am I in this movie?
Sony: I don’t know.
Keaton: Who even is Morbius? Sounds like a C lister…
Sony: Funny you should say that since we’re building a shared universe around Spider Man’s C list villains. Recent studies show that kids and incels love shared universes.
Keaton: But I was an actual Spider Man villain! And Batman!
Sony: Sure, sure. Whatever you say Mitch.
Keaton: Do you even know who I am?
Sony: I think so. Didn’t you play Detective Chimp?
“I don’t make fun of that”….aka for I don’t understand these f’n actors.
He is Batman not a Marvel D level villain , Batman 89 CULT CLASSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m hoping for Multiverse crossover
Lol he sounds like he doesnt even know which movie hes talking about
I really love Michael Keaton as an actor, and I hope that Beetlejuice 2 brings him even more success.
Vulture is in SSU sadly
Did he quote TLC?
I love all the Ls Sony's Spider-Man universe is taking lately
Yeah, it's like anything that is NOT Spider-Man is handled very poorly. You have to remember though, Sony did create the animated Spider-Verse movies and those win and are nominated big awards like Oscars. They also ARE in charge of making Tom Holland's movies. You can say Marvel is involved and this and that but at the end of the day Sony creates, makes and has final say on all of Tom's Spider-Man movies. They also made Toby's movies and Andrew's. So Sony ain't no slouch. We just got some side quests they flubbed.
@@eltravos99doesn't the deal require that Sony isn't creatively involved at all and their just slapping their name on toms Spider-Man
@@eltravos99isn't Sony like the reason Spider-Man 3 and amazing 2 flopped because of their interference.
@@eltravos99they are creatively marvel
Movies which is why the homecoming series is 3/3 in quality
Sony makes Spiderverse universe and then fail at live action
