I bought these used for 20 bucks, they are my current skates and they are my first skates and ive been skating in them for 6 months but im upgrading to moxi rainbow riders since i would like better skates. My personal consensus is that they are a okay beginner skates and got me through my basic skills but there is definitely better skates out there such as candi girl carlins. I do agree with Indy about the fact that they are painful to break in, I actually needed to lace my skates differently until they broke in since I couldnt skate in them for more then 5 minutes if I didn't. If your considering on buying these then I would say don't, there is better beginner skates out there such as the ones that Indy recomended or the candi girl carlins. Thank you for listening
I purchased the C7 queen bee model skate before seeing this review. I’m a beginner and learning as I go. So far I like them, But I did change the toe stop…it was way too big & bulky, & was wearing down quite quickly. I will probably change the wheels and bearings soon, since, as you said, their ok, but not great. I do love the boot but will probably get new insoles for added comfort. Thanks for sharing this info!!!
I just got the queen bee too. Haven’t had a chance to take them outside because of the weather. But this Saturday is supposed to be nice, so off to a park I go, God willing. Can’t wait to get a good feel from them. So far, I’ve only used them indoors.
I was skating in some used reidell skates for about 9 months. My toes were numb after every skate. My roller derby skate ninja found me Chaya skates for cheap and i cant believe what a difference it made!
Once on a trip I had to ride my Chaya skates more, because my sneakers gave me sooo many blisters, but the Chaya boots were so comfortable, like slippers
I just got some C7. Got them because they were pretty and on sale for $42. I am a beginner skater so I hope I don’t notice the issues you stated. At least not for now 😂.
Could you please review the TEMPISH Nessie Star roller skates? I've been thinking about getting those however there aren't many reviews on them on the internet so as a new skater I'm not sure if I'm making the right decision.
I second this! Even though I have bought them recently already as my very first rollerskates, and they arrived today funny enough, I'm curious what she things about them. I personally really like them, they fit my feet very well even though mine are a bit more wider. Haven't used them outside yet so can't say anything about that.
Hey hey, seems as if you are having a social Media break? I found you yesterday while searching, if I should buy rio's to learn skating, I chose not to thanks to your review. Now I found Story Roller Skates and wanted to have your opinion on them. But I guess I'll just have to try 😂😅
Im rebuilding a pair of suregrip boxers and trying to mimic the fames. I already changed my wheels to pulse rader energy. Would it be a good idea to wear ankle wraps in a derby skate?
You're unlikely to roll your ankles in skates in general (for basic/standard skating, anyway), and beginner high tops don't actually provide ankle support anyway (stiffness =/= support). Nor is it truly necessary for the majority of skating. If you don't have a preexisting issue with your ankle, you should be just fine without the ankle wraps, as they are no more necessary with low top skates than they are with low end high top skates.
I just got a new pair of ice skates. So I'm going to trade my boxer plates with my old blades. Problem is all my speed latches are missing, gone kaput. Is there still a way to rebuild?
Could you review some of the entry level derby-style skates for recreational skating? They're often the only choice for people with bigger feet, a lot of skates only come in smaller sizes.
Hay yeah let's see someone other then me do some street skating in derby skates, I mean onto the ferry, the waterfront, etc, or whatever I haven't seen in galvastion yet.
Chaya Ruby isn't bad if you're starting out! They're decently priced (I got Chaya Ruby Outdoor for $99 brand new), and they've lasted quite awhile with some use. I haven't been able to wear them recently unfortunately, but I enjoy them
@@jeremyhaliski1104 Tbh, I don't watch Indi usually (i only clicked on this video because my friend has some of these skates). If she's reviewed them before, I haven't seen it. In my experience, that could be true? I have 78a wheels on mine though, so I've been struggling to tell if that's a matter of wheel softness or the actual skate on my end
Heyy Indy🖤 Could you do a review on the Golden Horse roller skates please???🙏🏽 Sew them around, idk if they're legit and I would love your opinion on them.. I've been thinking what pair to buy soon.. And I feel like you're the most honest roller skater out there. Can't wait for a new video! Love from Israel 🇮🇱 🖤❤
Yeah even me back ice skating it gets pretty boring backstage during show especially when the DJ doesn't know what the hay they are doing. You you May's will be watching these videos. Besides someone should review the suregrip boxer.
I own the moxi rainbow riders in the yellow boot. I found the tongue a little uncomfortable it digs into my leg sometimes if I,m hunched over. The toe stops are nice. However, their in metric sizing and are not compatible with standard toe stops. The boot is sturdy and beautiful as well as vegan and made from vinyl drum. The cushions are hard so I feel a little discomfort when I jump. The stock wheels are very sturdy and good outdoor skating and rink skating. If you have wide feet this skate has blister guards and good ankle support. The laces are great. Once worn in the boots are comfy and stylish. Overall make sure to get the right size I bought the size 8 boot and it is a little too big for my foot. I should have went for a size 7 instead. So make sure you follow the sizing chart on the website to find your perfect size.
Impala are not good skates, there are so many reports of people’s skate failing. Instead, get the pastel Chaya ones she mentioned in the video, they will last you much longer without any safety worries.
I would love to see someone review the $25 rollerskates that are sold at five and below 🤩🤩🤩🙏🙏🙏 I have still yet to see any of the Skate show up to any of my classes, please and thank you 😂
The wheels are plastic the trucks are plastic the cushions are plastic. My future daughter-in-law bought some. The wheels kept on getting stuck. We swapped the wheels and the Cushions with some extra cheap ones I had at home. The boots is stiff, when she leans in on a side the boots will touch the wheel.( wheels are the same size 57mm ) I tightened the truck as much as I could. Before swapping out the wheels and cushions she wasn’t able to skate but now she is. However with that all being said. Every time she gets on them I’m so worried she’ll hurt herself.
Yeah suregrip boxers, although you can't buy them new anymore. Got mine for 30.00 the rest of the setup with out door wheels, bearings 97.00. I thrifted them.
I got those roller skates 🛼 and they were tight at the toe part and smelled like they were freshed painted too with bad quality in the shoe lace, despise how beautiful they looked on the girls in Amazon Regret buying them 🤦♀️
Good review, I trust your expertise lol maybe one day I’ll get better skates when money is good. I bought my black C7 skates like a month ago as a beginner and I’ve skated in them like 5 times (outside and rink) and they’re nice, the only problem is I can’t do outside or inside edges with my feet because the skates are pretty stiff so I recently bought a Y3 tool to loosen the trucks and wheels a bit and hopefully it works out, thank you for this honest review! 🛼
Uhh loosen the trucks? I usually edge on 4 year old Jackson ultamas with is a blade. I just got rollerskates, it's not that I can't edge, I don't have a back edge, so I'm always falling backwards, I need to somehow put my rear wheels further away from my front wheels.
Finally!! Missed you and your videos so muchh🖤♥️♥️❤️🩹🤗 I was really curious bout those C7 but now I finally know, thanks for the review Indy🙏🏽 Lots of love from Israel!
I ❤ these skates have 3 pair I did change the wheels and bearings, after doing that ❤❤❤ I paid 59.00 for mine on c7 website. I have the Queen Bee yellow an black, the Midsummer Blue, Femme Fatale BLACK. All are great you will have to do adjusting for your liking.
What I’ve learned from watching reviews of budget skates is that, if the skates cost less than a set of new wheels, you’re gunna have a bad time

Uhh exciting! How were they?
thank for the review Indy! I was curious about these, but after seeing your review, It's a hard pass. Sending love from Houston!
That's a shame because they sure are pretty. Thanks for what you do Indy, much appreciated.
I love them
I actually have these and I have not felt any pain whatsoever with these. But I also do have very narrow feet so idk if that means anything or not.
I was curious about these. Thanks.
Glad to help!
Would love to see Roller skate reviews with larger size options for amabs
