I wear my QC35 from awake, to when I sleep for the past 4-5years.
Super comfortable, spacious around the ears, doesn’t clamp my head
I drive a truck. Qc35 allows me to hear police sirens, but does a good job blocking out most road noise at the same time. It’s good, no complaints there, I don’t need better.
Micro usb isn’t ideal, but it has never given me any issues.
I’m on my second set of QC35. After a long while, there’s a crinkling sound that develops on the left ear, so I buy new ones. My second pair just developed this noise, so I’m about to order a 3rd pair.
Remember, I wear these headphone an absolute ton of time, so I get my use out of them, and I can’t complain about them wearing out.
The sound quality is good for all day wear. I had headphones that were too detailed in sound and therefore fatiguing.
The microphone doesn’t work so well in a loud truck, or with the windows down, but I get by. You can alway buy a wired noise canceling boom mic attachment for better phone conversation quality.
I agree about the push buttons. I wouldn’t trade them for a finger swipe touchpad. Been there, done it, never again.
Also agree about the bose 700 design.
    It looks feminine. No thanks.

Such good headphones, I bought mine in 2016 and they are still doing fantastic. ANC and sound are still great. The cloth at the headrest is really worn, the synthetic leather is falling off and I got little chipmarks all over the alumininium but they are still going strong. I really wanted to buy the S700, but after I tried them I found them to be not a good replacement... I hope the will make QC35 III :)

I got my QC35 in 2016 and often think about replacing them but the battery has still held up and I just replaced the pads last year. I did experience and issue with the power toggle switch failing. I spent months, with many attempts, trying to clean the switch with rubbing alcohol. No issues for well over a year now. I'm hanging on to my QC35 because they have a fairly neutral sound profile. Newer versions like the QC35 II and onwards have overemphasized bass as the default profile.
I realize that you can use EQ, but I like having a sound profile out of the box that I enjoy and not be reliant on using apps to re-adjust.

@@ToolsElectroDIY yes and no. I was at first using the wrong tips for soldering/desoldering and that caused pain. Once I realized this I switched over to bigger one and went smoothly. Everything working perfectly and it charged. I used a cardboard cutout for both holes on the inside to protect the speakers so when I used a heatgun on the cover that the battery under it would do no damage. I used a splunger slightly sharp metal tool to dig into the glue stuck and heated the blade some to slide easier between the crack. Be very careful cause the battery could get punctured. I took mine out no damage and all wires intact still. The connection on the other side where the hard hard is. Lots of wires. So I would use tape to try and remove the black one and tape to the side inwards a bit as the wires you got to remove are right where that in the way a bit.

One of the most comfortable headphones I've ever put on. I would purchase the QC 35 IIIs with USB C in a heartbeat.

Then wait for the QC 45, it's going to have USB-C (this is confirmed as it can be seen on the FCC pictures) and probably some other features as well.

Do the QC35 feel heavy on the top of your head?

the problem is you can't change the battery , you need to buy a new pair of headphone once the battery ages , good video tho

Most bluetooth headphones don't have user-replaceable batteries. My QC35 battery still works great. I don't think it's a concern. The battery won't last forever. I won't hesitate to buy another pair if it dies. Still worth every penny!

It is possible to replace, but it’s quiet an effort to do it. ifix has a guide to doing it.
