The Bose QC35 and now QC35 II are widely regarded as the benchmark for wireless noise cancelling headphones. The new Sony WH1000XM3 headphones are looking to change that. So the question is... Has Sony done enough to dethrone Bose? Which is the best pair of wireless noise cancelling headphones for 2018, 2019 and beyond?

@@mmcheddar I think the problem is that Americans don't know what "mark" means.
I've tried both and yes they are both great. Sony has the better base and functions. But nothing beats the comfort of the Bose not pressing on your ears. If you're planning to keep it on for multiple hours a day, Bose is the way to go. Do miss the equalizer, but Spotify and such got it built in fortunately (on mobile).
when your wearing the bose while watching this video hoping you didnt get ripped off
why? are bose really that bad?
@@randomtakka2032 I used the QC15's for years and just got the Sonys. Bose makes really good headphones overall and the sound quality is excellent, but the Sonys are a lot more customizable and seem to have more bass. I've been comparing my old QC15s to the MK3s and tbh the sound quality isn't that much better in the Sonys, but the NC is much better, and obviously the sonys are new and have bluetooth, my new phone doesn't have a headphone jack :(
Though if you want good wired headphones you can find used QC15's for cheap, especially the ones with the bad foams, you can buy the foam for $3 and have a super nice headset for under $40. Downside of that its you need batteries and the NC needs to be on for the headphones to work.
The new Bose 700 are good but you need to use the app and the app is garbage. It's like having a ferrari that you can only put E85 into.
your not ripped off. i had xm3 and i returned them and ogt qc35ii. reason. bad functions on some parts of sony like: 1- microphones for call talks are real shit. 2- when it gets a bit cold headphone starts changing music and volum up and down.3- you can stop youtube but cant resume it and you have to do it over youtube app. 4- same thing with music apps. 5 out of 10 would not resume or play next music. to me these were so annoying. so i took it back and got qc35ii and i love it. i know sound quality and noise canceling is slightly better on sony but for sure qc35ii out competes sony for the rest of the features.
@@vahidnajafzadeh4137 The sound quality is good? Then there is an audio delay with the ps4?
I have the QC25s and the noise cancelling is amazing.
I have Bose QC35 abd been listening everything whit them for over a year now. Works perfectly. One thing to say - its awesome to have buttons on headphones (volume etc...) since i live in Finland and we have freezing winters. And touch screen things doesnt like freezing weather and it starts to live its own life. So its really nice to have buttons :)
I’d prefer the Sony’s just because of the configurability. I like having the ability to customise the experience with the tech. Makes it feel like it’s yours
Well said
SthamerAMVs Coughs apples
Yeah, just like apple does, right
The customisation is only available when you chose the option connectivity over quality, and if you buy the sony you should try to take advantage of sony's ldac bluetooth codec (which let you experience cd quality in bluetooth), instead of some equalizer and minor effects.
SthamerAMVs the reason why I like *Android*
The reason for folding them the other way round is hygiene: the pads don't touch the surface they're laying on.
Edoardo Guido yeah and it is more comfortable round the neck
No its so that you can reach for your headphones and take them off and set them down in one fluid movement
I grab mine with my thumbs pointing forward
then i lift them off of my head and flip them onto the table
sounds complicated but i end with the cups pointing away from me and the headband toward me
Strictly Cast RC makes sense

Dale Howarth same😂
Same here. Lol
For me the comfort of the Bose has meant I can work all day in them with glasses over my ear as well and it’s incredible how good they are. I concur the control over sound in the Sony is better, but I’m not listening to music for the music, but rather as background for working. I’m Bose all the way.
You had me at glasses 🤓
"I’m not listening to music for the music, but rather as background for working."
YES + glasses
Oomg yessss, it's so hard to find headphone that is comfortable for glasses users. Bose all the way!
Love the sound signature of Sony M3's but the most amazing feature for me is the ability to release cabin pressure during flights when reaching high altitudes and when landing, by activating the atmospheric optimizer of the headphone. I used it for a couple of international flights and cabin pressure on my ears hurts no more. It's so great.
please I listen a lot of rock music would you recommend this headphones
@@ivanmoto3848 Yes, I would recommend this because I also listen to rock and pop songs, but I would suggest that you should visit a sony store or a headphone store to try it first and to test it out before you buy.
I just came back from a trip from Japan and I used the Bose qcii's the whole flight pretty much (total of probably 9 hours). Honestly when I was in the store I tried both the Sony and the Bose and while I certainly know Sony has the upper hand with sound quality, I know for a fact I couldn't wear the Sony's for that long. In the end, if you own either of these headphones just be thankful and stop bickering. They are both excellent headphones. There are people out there that use dollar store earbuds you sickos! We are fortunate.
Very well said
Yeah I'm one of those using Walmart headphones.. I aint cashing out $300+ for headphones rn
Great comment ;)
I own the Sonys (I did a side by side comparison and was blown away by the sound quality and functionality). Your point about comfort is well stated, though. I can wear my Sonys for about 5hrs max.
You can't go wrong with either (I own Bose Soundsports for the gym and LOVE them as well). When paired with my Note 9 with LDAC support (high definition Bluetooth) and Dolby upscaling (which is mind-blowing), it's clear that we're in the golden age of tech. Lucky bastards we are...
I wouldn't say it better *claps*
The Sony's fold that way so they can lay flat while around your neck.
Thank you!

I'm still using the same QC25 as I did 3 years ago. Unbelievably happy with them still. I use them A LOT (averaging several hours a day), so the earcups got a bit worn out after 2½ years, but luckily you can just get a new pair to click on. Don't know about the newer models, but the QC25 is 10/10 for me, and I can imagine that the newer models must be even better.
Still a big fan of Sony though, so I will definitely take this review into account, should I want a new pair at some point.
Watched with my Bose QC ii
Still rocking the QC15 right here, don't want any new headphones. Being able to repair them so easy is the only reason I still have them after all this time.
On Amazon you can buy w Bluetooth dongle that sits flush with the headphone. There is no difference between the 25 and 35 other than the AA batteries and Bluetooth
@@Timgo96 tru, just bought a cheap new cord/pad kit for 20bucks of Amazon a few months ago, still rock them. Might soon upgrade though. With so many choices though, its a bit daunting to decide.
Having owned those you have, and the Sonys and the new QCs, the Sony's are way way way way ahead in every possible way with the exception of comfort where the Bose QCs are just a tad more comfy - especially for sleeping.
In any case, you have no idea what you're missing out on man. These are king for a reason. Sony has been wrecking it up since the v1s of these came out.

Figuring out which one is better by reading comments only makes things worse, seems to be 50/50 which one is better from each persons perspective :/
I have both so here is like the main points.
Bose- more comfortable, looks cleaner imo, Bose feels little better built than the Sony on the hardware side.
Sony- slightly better sound quality and noise canceling, more features,
Also I haven’t had any call problems with either one.
Although I know Sony is better on the audio side, I still use my Bose a lot more, idk why but I just really like the look and feel of the device
@@justinchoijcjc The issue is that the 35 ii are old(ish) and likely to be replaced soon. So do I go for the XM3s knowing that they may be slightly less comfortable for long use, but have USB C and other 'new' features, or go for the QC35 ii knowing that they are probably slightly better for the long plane rides I often do, but could be replaced by a new model in a few months time...? Decisions, decisions!
Mark Reynolds-Corden realistically both are incredible headphones, you’ll be happy with either one. Just decide what’s more important to you. You’re going to have an easier time with Bose, but I personally believe sound quality and noise cancelation is the most important virtue. And also it wouldn’t hurt to wait a little for the next release
Mark RC but with all things considered I feel like the Boses comfort is a bigger benefit than most people think. My ears get really hot a lot quicker on the Sony
justinchoijcjc thanks you! It seems like I’ll be going with the Bose then. I’ve had good experience with them and comfort with only slightly “worse” sound quality is more important to me
I like how in every review, no one ever mentions the multi device connectivity of the Bose vs the singular connection of Sony.
Go on, I'm listening.
Wait so it isn't the other way around?
This is a big deal to me. I ended up with the Bose and having it connected to my iPhone and iPad at he same time is awesome.
Roy Beauchamp my thoughts exactly

What about the sound quality? I mean the bass
Abubakar Javed ꪜ if bass means sound quality to you I fell sorry for you.
I have both the Bose Qc35 II and the Sony m3. Other than comfort (they are both equally comfortable), m3 is better in every aspect period. No competition. It has better NC (many labs have tested this and published their results), better battery life, better customization (auto-detect adaptive sound control), better functions (quick attention where you can cover the right ear cup and instant hear outside noise), and more future proofing (usb c connection).
At the moment, Bose Qc35 IIs are slightly cheaper by ~$50. But they have been out in the market for a while so if you are thinking of buying one of these, I would say going with the Sony m3s is a safe choice. Yes, they are $50 more expensive but you can be confident that you are getting the very best NC the market offers today.
Depends on where you live, the Sony's here are way cheaper compared to Bose's.
Thou I agree on your view.
is the sony headphones over ear like bose qc 35?
Yes- the 1000x series (mark 1/2/3) are over-ear headphones
Not equal on comfort, period.
@Rob Thanks for your comment. Comfort is a subjective matter as it is something that is not objectively measurable. (For example, sound "quality" or how good the music sound is not really measurable unlike the amount of active noise cancelling, which is actually measurable by studying the counter frequencies).
So some people will find the Qc 35 IIs more comfortable while others find the m3s more comfortable. For me, they were equally comfortable so my comparisons were based on measurable variables like the amount of NC, battery life, features etc. Hope that made sense.
Bought the Sony set last night with a big staff discount. Incredible, I was hearing guitar squeaks and grinds on strings in recordings I've listened to my whole life that I didn't know were there. A depth of sound on another level. Thx so much for the comparison @UnboxTherapy.
I was watching the video with the Sonys on. I picked up my set at the Sydney airport on my way back to the States. I was so surprised by the audio quality. I won't travel without them.
I have the Sony ones, and generally I’m very happy with them - the only thing is that they’re very interrupted by cold weather (below 0 c - I live in Norway). I e they keep jumping back and forth between songs, and starting and stopping the music. The touch function sometimes get affected by wind as well. I used to have Bose before and they had no problems in cold or harsh weather.

Don't forget: Sony uses LDAC. Freaking prime quality
Most people can't tell the difference between aptX and LDAC or let alone SBC at 320 kbps.
Bryan U I can Lmfaoooo 👏🏽 gotta train them ears 👂
@@matthewclark4510 Nah man, I have the WH1000XM2'S for a year now and I've tried so many times to notice any difference between SBC and LDAC and there is absolutely no difference. SBC is better because you can use features like Arena Mode
@Matthew Clark That's pure placebo. 99% of people actually can not tell difference between 320 kbps MP3 and lossless. Study after study it's been proven.
@@bryan7300 You actually CAN hear the difference between 320kbps and lossless when the audio is played LOUD enough. Lossless performs better in extreme volume conditions as it does not get distorded like mp3 and is louder too.
I would give it to the Sony soundwise but still got the Bose due to pure convenience. The lacking ability to connect two devices at the same time to the Sony headphones was a dealbreaker for me. And i prefer having actual buttons over touch controls. All in all they are both amazing, you can't go wrong with both of these and it comes down to what you prefer.
I have the Bose QC35 II and my bf has the Sony WH1000XM3, so I have also experienced both. Overall, Sony's NC features are definitely superior. However, for the value, I am super happy with my Bose headphones! :) They are still fantastic at noise cancelling. I use them for video editing and the sound quality is awesome. Honestly, when I tried Sony vs. Bose for pure music sound quality (pre-EQ), I couldn't tell the difference.
I'd say if you have the money to waste, go for Sony, but if you want to be frugal, Bose is just as stellar.
which is more comfortable?

After watching this video I went and got the sony wh-1000XM3s, and they are incredible. But just as a warning if you live in a colder area like myself. They tend to act up almost immediately after stepping outside in (ex, lowering and raising volume, skipping tracks and disconnecting). And that's a major issue for me being that its normall for temperatures to drop below 20° degrees Celsius.
I don't know, I live in a relatively cold area and I haven't had any issues. Could you perhaps have a faulty device? Try contacting Sony or checking out the warranty policy to see if anything can be done about it.
@@TheTravisng at -20° Celsius mine start to act up after 3 minutes on my break. Since -30° to -40° Celsius is normal here you can forget about using them with bluetooth outside. I've been searching if people were experiencing the same issue and it's a big problem. It's a shame because I love these headphones and I dont want to take them back. I'll replace them but i doubt it will help
Any battery powered electronics don't do good in those temperatures. You are better off getting something wired for the winter (although you won't have noise cancelling)
It's just condensation on the touchpad. You can usually wipe it off unless it's happening inside the headphones
Damn that's too cold for homo-sapiens in my opinion
I have the both the Bose and Sony. I tend to use my Sony due to the function of it. Like you mentioned, Sony offers much more functions and customization. In a way the Sony allows you to control your headphones opposite to the other way around, if that makes sense.
I own both headphones. The Sony mx3 are great headphones but they have some problems. The swipe controls arent very accurate and won't recognize your hand movements sometimes or register the wrong movement. And while all the app features seem great at first they are quickly forgotten and not used. They do have better sound quality in general but in my opinion the superior noise cancelation of the bose makes them even overall.
If you do get the mx3 I recommend you don't get the gold color. Any scratch at all will show up as black.
I have only played with both so interested in what some with both thinks. My thought was the Bose are a more natural sound which some people like (me) but others will call flat. The Sony's seemed bright, which I know others like.
Agreed. I own a pair of the WH-1000XM3 and they are the BEST pair of headphones I have ever owned.

justddddddd I mean if you wear them for like 4 hours straight then you might need to take em off for a sec but nah they’re super comfortable
Have been using Sony WH1000XM3 for last 3 months and they are phenomenal!!

Don’t you dare say that the Airpod Max are better

Tested both 2017 models, bought the 1000xM2; comes down to extreme comfort (QC) vs excellent comfort with more going on (WH)..
If you're looking for something to chill at home with or comfortably is extremely important, QC35 may be best for you.
If you're looking for something to travel or commute with, 1000xM3 are more likely what you need (personal experience on London Underground, BART (SF Bay Area public transit) and long flights).
Bottom line: 1000xM3 are better for most situations
Note: ear pads on 1000xM2 have worn down with time and heavy use (gym, commute, office, home, gaming -- every day for over a year) but noise cancelling is still 70%+ peak performance after a year (haven't been able to find replacements).
It's still difficult to pick one over the other. But overall, yes, I'd take the M3's. By inches, however, if not centimeters.
m2 ear cups make my hear so hurt, but the sound quality is great
XM3 are so, so, so much more comfortable than M2
Bose QC35 also wear out, a friend have one and his cups are slightly worn out
Having tried both, I'd say the exact opposite - 1000xM3 are bigger and so more suited to listening at home. QC35 multipoint connection beats the M3s when I need to frequently switch from my iPad (watching movies during flight) and iPhone (making calls and listening to music once on the ground). Switching devices is a real pain with the Sony's.
I’ve had the option to test both and greatly prefer the Sony headphones.
Sony WH1000XM3 is my FIRST Noise Cancellation Headphones! So NOT AN Expert opinion :P
-) Noise Cancellation is like using a tight In-Ear headphones But this is more comfortable
-) This will block external noise like AC, FAN, Rain etc. Block means not 100% but 80 to 90%!
-) If you play music! You will not hear anything from outside world! (As I said an In-Ear headphones do the same but it will be slightly painful)
-) A tight In-Ear headphones are not a replacement for Built in Noise Cancellation! I just point it out to the people who never experienced a Noise Cancellation headphones in life. This Noise Cancellation is Another level. You will only believe it when you actually get a chance to use it. NO UA-cam reviews will give you the real experience.
This Noise Cancellation Headphones is useful WHEN
- I watch youtube videos / tutorials
- I write code
- I brainstorming
- I travel
- I go to bed and hear some songs before sleep
- I need to disconnect from the annoying world! around me :)
Battery life is really good. USB-C means one less cable, Fast charging is good!, Touch control is awesome, if you put right hand to right ear cup you can come back to the world you are in. it is a huge plus, when mom are dad call me! all I need to do is put my hand on the right ear cup!
Overall this NC Headphone Improved my life! Here is how.
- Now I can focus more on my work
- Less distraction from external noise (It is not 100% But 99% of the time it is 100%)
- I hate travelling because of the the sounds and noise will influence my thoughts, I actually waste my time while travel because of that. yes a good In-Ear earphone can help but this is another level. So now I can actually do my stuff in my own world using this Noise Cancellation Headphones!
Value?
Yes -- if you have 30K to throw away. And it will not hurt your life in any way.
No -- if you need to save money for next 12 Months to get this.
Sound Quality?
Base is there! If you are looking for that.
But the nice thing is Sony's EQ can Adapt! That means anyone can change the Sound Aspects according to there needs from the Application. Out of the box it is perfect for my taste!
If someone like less base you can change that through EQ.
No product is perfect so in this Model what to improve?
- Only once device can be connected at a time. (Minimum 2 devices is required now a days! [eg Laptop and SmartPhone])
- User replaceable ear cup cushions!
- Call Quality. This Headphones have an array of microphones but when when we call someone they will hear all Background Noise. I used it for some VOIP calls, It is usable but built in Microphones on your phone will do a much better job.
- More and improved NC! Yes why not. There is always room for improvements.
^^ I really don't know what to write as cons.
TechKerala does it block external loud music?
@@richardhanak1015 No if you are not playing anything and just using noise cancellation. Yes if you play a music at as low as 25 to 40% volume. It will block nose from AC, FN etc and 0% Volume.
TechKerala thanks for your answer. It was really helpful
how much time do you waste to write this much long comment 😕
Just got one after I was sceptical about Bluetooth sound quality before with all other brands. After testing it with my own phone at the Sony booth I finally jumped the fence and purchased it!! Never been a better time to buy one now. Sound quality is beyond my expectations! Only gripe I wish the charging cable was a bit longer. Go enjoy music the way you like it to sound...nice one Sony!
I have Bose QC35 II. Can't say I extremely satisfied, but they are very comfortable to wear for the whole day. I would like to test Sony one day and compare.
I have the QC 35 II and the noise cancellation is so good it’s actually pretty dangerous.. Sometimes my friends/parents are yelling maybe 3-5 feet away trying to get my attention and I literally cannot hear a single peep whilst listening to music/watching a video. I’d love to try those Sony headphones out tho.
What firmware are you on?
Sony does it better but I still prefer Bose due to its extreme comfort and deecent sound quality.
@@Clarity520 the sound quality is complete shit tbh
@@stellar3327 nope they are not. They arent as good as sony's but definitely not bad either. A lotta peopld arent just interested in bass
Same issue here but I love my Bose headphones all the same
What's up Lew, Re: your comment on why the Sony's fold that way... It's not to lay on the table, but to lay on your neck/chest which has many benefits like covering the speakers from water and for comfort to the user. No plastic hitting/resting on your bones. I own the m2 and love it. I use it with my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact and they perform amazingly great together. Try it out Lew. Take care.
Tested both these out in the shop and honestly the Sony was like a magic trick. The ability to have ambient sound come through under different conditions is amazing. So is you are on a bus or train it senses that and dials up the noise cancelling and when you come off and start walking it detects you are walking and lets in ambient noise so you are more aware of your surroundings! We bought ours for a trip to Chicago (15 hours on a plane) and am looking forward to cutting all that noise out!
I am quite happy with the Bose; excellent fit, comfortable, clear digital sound and noise canceling. However, not heavy on bass if that's what your looking for with an equalizer capability. Great review and seems your Sony advantage points are accurate!!
It's the brand not the headphones u like😂😂😂

So good hey. Bought the black one first release. If only you could pair to multiple devices and switch over easily without disconnecting.
Based on personal preference and your (video) experience, I would go and stick with my QC35. It didn't excite me to try Sony's due to its comprehensiveness, or in my word, complications. It's like Apple vs Samsung. You like user-friendly (from age 10 - 80), go for Apple. If you enjoy customizing and making that small little changes to suit yourself better, go for Samsung - it allows you to.
Plug and play - that's what I like. After all, the world is complicated enough and I will most likely not use the app at all to enjoy more functions that make a minimal impact on my lifestyle.
if your headphone too good, you dont need to write this =))
Thanks for the review. I am getting the Bose for my 83 year old mom because of the fact that it has buttons and switches and the Sony for myself and kids.
I love the Sony because the sound is so freaking nice. But Sony has one weakness and that is the advantage of Bose which is comfortness.
"Comfortness" isn't a word. Just use "comfort."
I think you’re referring to the older models. These the mk3 and they specifically made changes for comfort. The changes worked too - mine are great
@@paradroid888 Yup I have the Mark 2 I love the voice but it does not feel so comfortable.
the Sony's are a little heavy and I don't like that my ears touch the inside of the ear cups. Other than that they are great.
The new Sony versions are way comfier than the old pair
I went with the Bose because after AB-ing them at BestBuy, the Bose were more comfortable and I was buying them to use on long flights. I have not been disappointed in the comfort (excellent) or noise cancellation. I have never been fatigued by wearing them (longest was 9 hours). However...sound quality goes to the Sonys. The Bose are flat in equalization. The Sonys, had scooped mids for a more bass heavy tone. As far as performance on airline noise...I won't fly without them.
The Sony ones are insane, it’s actually kinda scary how you can’t hear a thing outside of them.
Why are none of these made out of metal.
@@ethanrobinson5536 Metal sits heavy on your head and becomes less comfortable than plastic on longer listening sessions. Metal headphones are not ideal at all.
I went with the Bose QC35II because I can wear it for many hours watching UA-cam, Netflix, etc, with little to no fatigue. Secondly, it has multipoint technology, whereby I can connect both my laptop and smartphone simultaneously. Sony doesn’t have the technology yet, unfortunately.
They do have it, they just didnt put it on the headphones. I can connect my phone and laptop as well as my tablet to my sony srs-xb41 and it works just fine
Used to use apple headphones back in the day. Made a choice to buy actual QUALITY headphones. First pair was audio technica ath-m50x. After 4 years upgraded to bose quite comfort 35 wireless II's. Now 3 years after those I am making the jump to sony's wh100xm3. Super excited.
Apple headphones like the in ear ones or beats? Cause they're both garbage. I went with the athm40x and then the sennheiser 6xx and then have some 600 to 1200 dollars worth of other sennheiser here and there. Getting the Sony cause I wanna give the noise cancelling a try.
Sony! Finally Lew used a Sony product! LoL
Lew back in the day only used a Sony Headphones I'm talking at least 3 years ago or even more.
Huge fan of Sony here
There actually is a way to pair more than one device to the wh1000xm3s. it's not in the manual but sony put it online. found it after a bit of digging but if you press the power button for approximately 7 seconds, the bluetooth pairing settings will turn on again. not sure what the maximum amount of devices are, but it's definitely more than 2. hope u see this, this set of headphones are the best i've ever had and should be used to its full potential
Lean2 Daleft need to know more about this..
Thanks
The bose ones also have that option
✌️👌🙏
You miss the point. Bose has 2 chips, each pairing with 2 devices continuously. Any 1 chip device can connect with any number, but the Bose allows 2 seamlessly (and an infinite number if you don't mind the disconnect reconnect sequence).

I have Sony, my dad has the Bose. Both are equally good. But Bose's bluetooth is awful! Sony's connection is flawless. However Bose is comfier for longer listening. So it's down to comfort or everyday ease of use. (note: I've used my Sony's for a whole 2 week holiday and still haven't had to charge them!)

Hi guys, what a great review! I was in Best Buy this morning and tested the Sony units in the store! I was blown away by the immediate "whisper room" quiet they provided. I could hear nothing and then with the touch to hear function, I could hear people talking at the cash registers clearly! I was so blown away that of course, I came home and did a UA-cam Search which brought me here. I did also try the Bose, but even with the max noise cancelling setting, I could still hear reps talking to people just barely while with the Sony I heard zip.. nothing.... like being in a sound booth. SOLD!!!!! Now I'm shopping around for the best price. If anyone is in doubt, the Sony headphones are KING in this category.. just my opinion :)

Bought the Sony's a week ago and they're amazing. If you think the sound quality is good out of the box, then wait until you play with the equalizer!
Personally, I feel like Sony's folding at 4:22 is better for people like me who take their headphones off and rest it on their neck. I currently have a pair of Bose headphones (Bose SoundLink) that fold just like the QCs do in this vid and I have to do the flipping thing whenever I take my headphones off so that the ear pieces can rest flat vs. sticking up and taking up neck space when I want to turn my head left/right. (Hope that makes sense)
It’s really annoying that the cups can’t turn the opposite way.
..and if you accidently put them down on a sticky surface you are going to get shit on your ears with the Bose...
exactly...i know how that feels!
Good pickup. I too like to rest them around my neck but my current headphones do not fold in either direction so I have to tilt my head up slightly so they can sit there. its annoying.
That's the same issue I have with my B&W PX. They should really rotate the opposite way.
What a coincidence I bought the sony ones yesterday and then this video comes up wow...thanks I guess

Beats are trash. Why would you even consider that garbage?
Hugo Stiglitz A very hyped up brand, why wouldn’t he try them?
@@HugoStiglitz88 but Sony has a big issue when it comes to phone calls... The microphone is trash. I just returned mine
Tried both of these in my local electronic store, and I ended up with Sony XM3. I really like the punchy bass and better dynamic range of sony, while the sound from bose is really flat. I listen to modern pop music and EDM, hip hop and rap. And my priorities are sound quality and features. I can understand why people will end up choosing bose because of the comfort. Bose has 10/10 comfort but I don’t like the sound. Sony on the other hand has like 8,5 or 9/10 comfortwise, but other than that I think sony surpasses the bose.
@@LTV249 weak bait
What do you mean you don't like the sound on the Bose? Possibly the best all around headphone in the market. Power it up with a DAC and they are like Rolls Royce of headphones with a engine of a Ferrari!
@@SupremeProductionsYT if youre using them wired they are a waste of money. you could get way better headphones for half the price (hifiman he4xx, sennheiser 6xx, yamaha hph etc)

comfort for me is the most important virtue within a headphone, i've had some shitty experience with wearing headphones and most of them would give me headache after wearing it for 30 mins, so to say that I can wear the Bose for more than 2-3+ hours without getting a much fatigue and headache, it's a miracle and a god given gift to me.

Let's be honest, any of these will blow your mind ! Reaching this price range, you're good to go either way.
I’ve owned two pairs of QC35s and these Sony’s. From my experience the Sony’s sound cancelling is way better than Bose, the batter life is next level as well. The Bluetooth range is also better, the QCs with Google Assistant sacrificed a lot of Bluetooth range. However, the QCs can connect to multiple devices whereas the Sony can’t, and the larger ear cup of the QCs make them more comfortable. My choice is still the Sony’s tho, the better sound quality and battery life are amazing.
Miss this setup and table. It was a much cleaner, clearer experience than the whole warehouse behind you.

Bose qc 35 ii design and comfort is best I've seen/worn.
When I bought my QC35'S a few years ago I tried all the noise canceling headphones. I found the bose to be the best. What was also interesting was after trying each I asked the guy in the store if they had there product most of them said they had the bose headphones and the ones who had there product said they had it cause of staff discount and that the bose was the best on the market. I only really use them for flying and they are incredible for this, anyone that flysheet a lot buy some you won't regret it there worth every penny. Also take a look around at what others have around there neck waiting at the gate and see how many are Sony.
I bought sony yesterday. Brilliant sound quality. Adaptive noise cancelling is awesome. I would recommend sony. Built quality is excellent. It only filters noise if you are sitting. If you are on a move it can simply filter jet engine sound. Amazing product.

Bose + UA-cam’s 10 hours of brown noise 👍🏼, helps me get my HW done!!! Although Bose has multi connect it’s pretty basic, could use a bit more features. I have two pairs and use one to sleep (sleep pillow app) and the other to commute. My biggest complaint is that I’ve had both for around 1 year and both have picked up wear and tear pretty easy. I wish there was a way to repaint the cup🤷🏻♂️. I’m curious about the Sony but I know if I wear the Bose for more than 3 hours they start to hurt so I can only imagine how the Sony’s might feel🤕. I’d really like to see Bose work on more communicating features on the multi connect especially if your next to the person your sharing the moment with. Imagine how tedious it is to pull the cup off every time you want to tell them you like the song or you like this episode of stranger things 🤷🏻♂️. I’m really looking forward to the next version q36 😉
