These modern car seats have so much contour and they're so firm, car seats are becoming less and less comfortable. Just so you know, people with tailbone pain do best with simple flat and plush cloth seats.
Bro how is this relative to anyone that drives daily or a lot lol I don’t think I’ll be getting rolls Royce or fucking koenigsegg seats in my 99 vw golf lol
I test drove a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis yesterday and it has the most comfortable seats of any car I've ever driven, only a 2001 Buick LeSabre and a 2022 GMC Savannah (Uhaul) even come close. They just don't build cars the way they used to.
Most comfortable seats I sat in were of a high spec Saab 9000, firm leather, easy on the back and recently a Vauxhall/Opel Astra with high spec AGR seats, no leather, very subjective, but I‘ve sat in a few bmw‘s and Mercedes and felt the back being secure on any speed, but didn’t like the seating position for longer journeys. Treat your back like your best friend
Volvo has been the best in seat comfort for me for over 20 years. Sat in a 2017 Honda Accord I thought I wanted to buy. It was like sitting on a wooden plank. I've heard the 2024 Mazda CX5 has good seats, but one reviewer says the new Honda CRV has even better seats. I still doubt that they match Volvo, which is pathetic.
My 2015 Toyota Camry has comfortable seats. I’ve been on a 400 mile road trip and no butt tingles or lumbar aches at all. Any more comfortable I would be falling asleep if I’m in the front psssenger or rear seat.

The most comfortable car seats I rode in regularly were from a 1985 Fourth Gen Toyota Celica.

Just to share a 2000 Buick LaSabre has comfortable seats, it is like sitting on a lazyboy chair.

1986 Ford Taurus had the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had. Too bad the car gradually disintegrated around me.

Mid 90s pontiac Bonneville SSE had the best seats ever
