My choke point isn't the connector, replacing a small part of the circuit like that wouldn't likely yield better results, the current would just jam up at a different point.
If a force field is beyond of your budget, I would consider a small piece of polycarbonate.
You have to take out the thermistor to use 4 in a Stryfe. That's the Stryfe cutting out, not the batteries.

I had the same problem using a lipo with the Tommy20 auto. The pusher is out performed by the motors. Nice work. They work great with the Vulcan because of the blaster design. Chrono is a nice addition.

I’m thinking about getting a Rapidstrike, upgrading the motor, lipo battery, eclipse flywheels&cage. I know a full rewrite is required. Any advice?

Two questions:
1) Don't you mean in parallel? Otherwise you're sending 18V to the pusher motor, which seems like it would burn it out.
2) Did you try running the pusher off the LiPo so you wouldn't need the 9V batteries? Did it not shoot fast enough for you?
upgrade the battery connector to Deans, TRX or if you get your batteries from hobbyking the XT60 and you'll get even better current flow ^^

you should put a potentiometer or something in there so you can adjust the firing rate
I recently bought a few pairs of Ultra Fires, and I remember reading SOMEWHERE, no longer remember where, that 900mah (maybe it was 600mah...dyslexia) was what people use for these. My concern is that the ones I have now are 1200mah. For giggles I put all 4 in a Stryfe and after seconds of revving the motors cut out, after letting it chill it worked on 2. I plan to put them in a RapidStrike. So what I wanna know is, is 1200mah normal amount. And if not how many should I run in the RapidStrike?

rj preez any 2s lipo over 2500mah with a rating over 25c will do. as for charger, the ones supplied with lipo are terrible. i reccomend the "hitec x4 AC+" 4 batteries at once and itll charge just about any battery on earth. it is $200 tho. lipo is kina expensive to buy in, but you wont regret it.

hey frank can I run my rapidstrike on a lipo 11.1v 20c discharge 1300mah without motor replacement??? will I burn the motors out
yourandroidude 123 youll burn em at that voltage. stock RS is only 6v. go with a 2s. amps are better than volts.
So you just put a Lipo battery and changed the motor?

***** Meishel motors are very nice, they run on a 2s LiPo. However, if you're going to mod a Rapidstrike, it's better to go all-out with your motors and use a 180. FoamData Services has a video on good motors to use.
