I would be totally down to watch more reviews of these cheap blasters, especially with the huge influx of Chinese knockoffs and such flooding the markets due to the recent changes in Chinese toy laws. If you would review some of the bigger ones that might look genuinely tempting to a performance foam finger, that would be fantastic. Thanks for all you do!
the really crazy law is toy guns kinetic energy should less than 0.16j/cm2,give me a cup of bubble tea and a straw, i can break the law with my mouth.nerf and laser toy are our last territory, after that we can only play slingshot
Thats so weak .16 joules what made them change the law? So does that apply to Chinese airsoft guns? That sucks. Ironically the same country makes legal explosives and export around the whole world(fireworks). I guess a foam dart that shoots more than 10 ft would completely decapitate somebody lmao
@@beezyman8226 I think its because such toys are obviously meant for kids, and they are particularly strict on that kind of thing. Fireworks and other dangerous things are not targeting kids, so they have a lot more leeway. Kids can still get their hands on that stuff, because they always will, but they won't be sold with kids specifically in mind
Hey Coop! Just figured I'd chime in to say, as someone who plays with dart blasters mainly for emotional reasons / target shooting, I really appreciated this review. Most of these are blasters I considered buying at some point knowing their performance would be poor, but I hesitated because I was unsure about the build quality. Having someone with your knowledge and critical eye has been really helpful for deciding which ones I'm probably going to get (the revolver), which ones are still solid maybes (the shell-ejecting guns) and which ones are definitive nos (the toshi blasters). I think I'm not alone in saying that, while Nerf was what got me into foam flinging as a hobby, the deeper I've gotten the more intrigued I've become by the niche offerings you can't find on store shelves, whether that's mod kits, community-made blasters or blasters from foreign companies that aren't as available in America. I'd love it if you could take a look at more products similar to these. Thank you!
The dangerous colour schemes most likely come from international toy guns manufacturers who couldn't be bothered to change them for the US market. Real guns are so rare to come across in some countries that you'd never think a kid with a black pistol could possibly be holding a real one.
My brother had an ak-47 toy when he was little, had a jungle camo on it. I had an MP5k which was fully black apart from an orange tip on the barrel. We live in the UK where you literally just don't get guns at all so there's no need for companies to paint toys bright colours here
Most of these are originally gel blasters. That's why they shoot the smaller dart. The revolver is good and has a long barrel version. I bought one as a gift for my friend.
The revolver looks pretty good and for its size, which looks possibly a little bit bigger than a jolt, could be a decent backup blaster although finding matching ammo would be difficult. Also, “I almost Alec Baldwin-d my camera.” Bruh
Honestly i'd love to see more of these cause no one ever talks about the crap that's on Amazon. There's one particular thing i'd love to see you review: It's a small pistol...thing made by a company called LiKee, and it's basically a miniature X-Shot Crusher that holds 5 shots. Probably one of the strangest yet coolest things i've seen on Amazon.
Bought the white and blue Glock with all the attachments because I don’t want to spend 100+ on an air soft gun I’ll only play with at my desk so thanks for the reviews while I wait for my order!
I think most of us in the community have seen one of these and thought "maybe it won't be total garbage" even though we knew it would be. Thank you for saving our scheckels.
Some of these may not be great for play, but for replica prop makers, some of these are pretty good for prop replicas. The Mouser looks like it can be a good base for a replica of the Han Solo blaster (or at least useful for a Rocketeer costume).
I've got the Toshi 1911. Got it for fun a few months ago. It's not absolutely awful. I got a heavier spring from the hardware store and got a few more feet out of it. It also shoots pencils pretty well.
Do a review on these: -HDS 68 Double barrel shotgun shell ejecting dart blaster -M249 Dart blaster -QBZ 95 Dart blaster Saw them online and they looked pretty cool ngl

@@gerardmcquade you're thinking of the toggle lock on the P08, the Mauser uses a slide but it doesn't reciprocate with the whole receiver like the one in the video
When I first saw the revolver, I thought it would be a flywheel one I've seen from time to time on eBay. I did enjoy this group review, seeing you lay into the black one was quite hilarious!
Whenever I see one of the pistols getting jammed during the demonstration segment, I keep think of the reload jams for Fallout: New Vegas or like Far Cry 2. Which somehow makes things funnier.
Fun fact for people who play Portal, the turrets also shoot the entire round, including the cartridge, just made me think that when coop was talking about the 1911
For people who play TF2, spy, engineer, and scout have guns that shoot the entire cartridge. For spy, his revolvers shoot the entire cartridge, because when you go to reload there's no cartridges seen in the cylinder. As for scout and engineer, no cartridges are ejected from the pistols they use, (with the exception of TF2 classic, where cartridges are ejected and magazines are seen being dropped after reloading), and for engineer, his gun seems to eat each magazine it fires because during reloading the empty magazine never drops out of the gun, but a new one is still able to be inserted
I'd like to see more of these kinds of reviews, just so more people know what to get, and be aware of which products are worth getting even for just people that play around and don't nerf competitively.
I enjoyed it! The firing demo was hilarious. It was like something a clown would use as part of a bit. I think there's value in these kinds of reviews. There's a lot of crap on the internet so it could help people know what they're in for. I wouldn't buy any of them, but I will enjoy any reviews you do all the same.
These are actually the old Gen 1 shell ejecting toy pistols, Gen 2 and Gen 3 feature mechanical blowback and shell eject where the newest gen 3 is completly semi-automatic; no need to prime/cock back, blowback, all mechanical... operates almost exactly like a Glock G17. I got my Gen 1 (same as coops blue one but in pink) from aliexpress, and I just realized the amazon ones don't feature the 1:1 Glock branding and lettering [legal reasons I assume] But yeah... they still suffer from jamming but I think the quality increased a lot with a metal barrel and no visible screws, they also have metal shells now.
Nice. I have 2 of those 1911s. Mine don't have that weird trigger catch issue, but some of the ammo jams. Just some of it though, so it's usable if you filter out the bad ones. Firing performance is awful, of course, though. Really enjoy the action at times, however. :)
Love to see your take on the 'gel ball' lever action rifles with shell ejecting! It's interesting that so many gel ball blasters are being converted to dart. I'd like to see the stats on the original gel ball varieties if they still exist somewhere. Does anyone know if you can convert the xm1014, m1887, et al blasters back to their gel counterparts?
for converting "shotguns" into gel blaster i'd say its mostly the shells you are using because the spring and piston it came with was already capable. but you gonna need an inner barrel kit for it to be accurate. and the lever action rifles are quite bad from my experience. jams often when reloading and cycling and bad performances even with gel balls.

I dig wheelguns; the revolver is tempting to add as a secondary for a "The Division" or other tactical style cosplay.
An alternative is one of the cap guns you can get that costs like 1/6th of that though lol.
@@Stevenwave- cap guns are very undersized. Never held one that felt right in my hand.
@@joshbrown8756 Yeah that's true. I haven't held any in a long time so can't say any different.
I own the colored 1911 and I honestly believe the build quality is pretty good and the slide action is smooth. It’s worth it to play around with.
What changes were made to chinese toy law??
the really crazy law is toy guns kinetic energy should less than 0.16j/cm2,give me a cup of bubble tea and a straw, i can break the law with my mouth.nerf and laser toy are our last territory, after that we can only play slingshot
Blaster’s trash
The gun motion at 10:35 was so smooth I’m not even gonna lie 😂
This brings back memories haven't watched coop for two years 😢
Thank you!
Tldr; good review, do more
The dangerous colour schemes most likely come from international toy guns manufacturers who couldn't be bothered to change them for the US market. Real guns are so rare to come across in some countries that you'd never think a kid with a black pistol could possibly be holding a real one.
@Paul Martin You know not all countries outside the US are in some sort of civil war with child soldiers running around, right?
My brother had an ak-47 toy when he was little, had a jungle camo on it. I had an MP5k which was fully black apart from an orange tip on the barrel. We live in the UK where you literally just don't get guns at all so there's no need for companies to paint toys bright colours here
@@assassinwookiee8460 smaller than real mp5k fired orange rubber darts? I had one but it was dark (denim looking) blue
@@Stribog1337 didn't fire anything, just made a noise when you pulled the trigger and had a light where the shell would have been ejected 😅
America frick yeah
I'm so glad you are doing a review like this. It's actually really fun
Agreed
The Alec Baldwin comment had me rolling my kids don’t even use Nerf guns anymore and I still watch your videos all the time keep up the good work coop
13:22 when the ATF agent finds out you have a dog and a Glock with a fun switch
Love that his dog sits at the firing range to show that no dart got far enough to hit him lol
I like how he puts his dog in the way because he knows the darts wont even go near it
and doggo also sees coop suffering by using toys made from debris
To be fair, the black "gun" was the only one to scare it away, so that gives it extra points I would think...
Most of these are originally gel blasters. That's why they shoot the smaller dart. The revolver is good and has a long barrel version. I bought one as a gift for my friend.
Put this guy on a watch list, This arsenal is too powerful.
2:48 your not alone with the james bond i was thinking of being james bond with my friends with those silenced guns
Dude, you're best nerfer on youtube, and that you review such cheap, unpopular blasters gives you 10000000 points of my respect
I've been seriously tempted to try the knockoff half-length mag in grip pistols
The revolver looks pretty good and for its size, which looks possibly a little bit bigger than a jolt, could be a decent backup blaster although finding matching ammo would be difficult.
Also, “I almost Alec Baldwin-d my camera.” Bruh
i have the blue and white on the far right and I think it might be the coolest toy pistol i have bought in my opinion.
You should review those "semi" realistic sniper rifles that were going around the internet, they even had a AWP that shot and ejected shells too!
6:46 "We fire the whole bullet. That's 65% more bullet per bullet."
8:55 “I have never held a C96 mouser because it’s not 1945!”
*uses a M1911 from guess what year 30 seconds ago*
Honestly i'd love to see more of these cause no one ever talks about the crap that's on Amazon.
There's one particular thing i'd love to see you review: It's a small pistol...thing made by a company called LiKee, and it's basically a miniature X-Shot Crusher that holds 5 shots. Probably one of the strangest yet coolest things i've seen on Amazon.
The dog lying utterly unphazed 15 feet away as you shoot blasters at it was a great touch.
Bought the white and blue Glock with all the attachments because I don’t want to spend 100+ on an air soft gun I’ll only play with at my desk so thanks for the reviews while I wait for my order!
Toshi: We fire the whole bullet. That's 65% more bullet, per bullet.
COOP!!!! I’m so glad you’re still on UA-cam, I always loved your content as a kid, and now as an adult
I love that the "hammer" on the C96 is backwards
As someone who loves prop/toy guns, this was very fun to watch and super informative. You should absolutely do more ^_^
I'm actually debating on that revolver since it seems fairly sized compared to the massive big iron nerf revolvers
I've got the Toshi 1911. Got it for fun a few months ago. It's not absolutely awful. I got a heavier spring from the hardware store and got a few more feet out of it.
It also shoots pencils pretty well.
Hold up what…?
BROOOOO I remember watching you as a kid. All the nerf reviews. Man the good old days
COOPS DOG LOOKS SO CUTE edit: 15:03
Do a review on these:
-HDS 68 Double barrel shotgun shell ejecting dart blaster
-M249 Dart blaster
-QBZ 95 Dart blaster
Saw them online and they looked pretty cool ngl
The best part is in 9:25 when he is ready to pull the gun magazine but he remember that the revolver has no magazine
I like these reviews! It's something different from normal and it's enjoyable seeing something more humorous to break up the 80th Hasbro reskin of the year.
I love how he acts so professional about the jams
Glock silencer: reject silence, become shell
I'm not even into dart guns but this was awesome to watch. Weapons safety and knowledge were super nice to see demonstrated and talked about throughout the video. Keep up the good work!

I never wanted these blasters, but now I understand why 🙂 Good job, thank you Coop!
I own a Mauser, and while GENERALLY it looks good… the uh… whole hammer is on backwards
it doesn't prime like that either i dont know what it is called but its kind of like a hinge that comes up and back
@@gerardmcquade you're thinking of the toggle lock on the P08, the Mauser uses a slide but it doesn't reciprocate with the whole receiver like the one in the video
@@bulbobaggins thank you for correcting me i like to learn

@Paul Martin its funny watching those people go back and forward at each other i watch those videos too
When I first saw the revolver, I thought it would be a flywheel one I've seen from time to time on eBay.
I did enjoy this group review, seeing you lay into the black one was quite hilarious!
Whenever I see one of the pistols getting jammed during the demonstration segment, I keep think of the reload jams for Fallout: New Vegas or like Far Cry 2. Which somehow makes things funnier.
"Woops, I almost Alec Baldwined my camera." 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 like
Fun fact for people who play Portal, the turrets also shoot the entire round, including the cartridge, just made me think that when coop was talking about the 1911
That way you get 65% more bullet per bullet.
I played portal before but I don't even know that!
@@bigdapramirez6157 huh, interesting
@@juusstis3664 it's true. If you watch some of the demonstrations or play the game you'll see what I mean
Those two $14 blasters are like the turrets from Portal, firing “75% more bullet per bullet”
I'd like to see more of these kinds of reviews, just so more people know what to get, and be aware of which products are worth getting even for just people that play around and don't nerf competitively.
Dude went from nerdy highschooler to American patriot
Not gonna lie, really digging that Mauser.
for the first time , Frank didn't say any ''there's no n-strike barrel lug'' to none-nerf blasters
The consistent uploads are awesome,
I enjoyed it!
I got my Gen 1 (same as coops blue one but in pink) from aliexpress, and I just realized the amazon ones don't feature the 1:1 Glock branding and lettering [legal reasons I assume]
But yeah... they still suffer from jamming but I think the quality increased a lot with a metal barrel and no visible screws, they also have metal shells now.
I love how his dog is in the middle of the firing demo
In guessing just the spring and maybe the barrel apparently they need a little less power
Not Shure though
for converting "shotguns" into gel blaster i'd say its mostly the shells you are using because the spring and piston it came with was already capable. but you gonna need an inner barrel kit for it to be accurate.
and the lever action rifles are quite bad from my experience. jams often when reloading and cycling and bad performances even with gel balls.
I love everything about this review, those blasters are hilarious. But I really appreciate the safety warnings, Coop. Thanks!
"i have never held a mouser because its not 1945" got me haha
