Addy Liew they lost our respect ever since they glued the 2 shells of elite 2.0 blasters together. Its like they’re trying to say, ‘Hey! Is your blaster broken? Well fck you, can’t repair it this time, buy another one from us!’
For those wondering what the Turbine’s Rate of Fire is: it’s around 4 to 4.5 DPS (Darts Per Second) or 240-270 DPM (Darts per Minute) So it’s initially in the middle between the Rapidstrike’s 3 DPS (180 FPM) and the Hyperfire’s 5 DPS (300 DPM).
I would like to see more Nerf Combos videos, Elite 2.0 seems like the perfect series to revive the Nerf Combos series with all the Tac rails and stuff. Even though the Blasters aren't as good as they can be, at least they look cool (minus the fact that there are very few of these Metallic Blue colored attachments)
I mean, there are only so many blaster ideas available. They have to recycle old ideas sometimes because of the limits of what they're actually making.
Imagine someone in HASBRO was assembling the Echo, thinking it would work, then clicking it together, then trying to shoot only to realise, it did not work
If anyone wants to open a 2.0 blaster but is concerned about damaging it is suggest watching Captain Xavier's video where he tested several tools trying to open up these things you can use cellphone repair kits or car trim removal tools there both cheap on Amazon and work really well although when it comes to solvent welds he hasn't tried to open one with that yet.
Solution for the mag release issue: Get your finger out of the trigger guard, press the side of the mag release with the tip of your finger. They placed the pivot point strangely up, so you can't just push the whole thing inward to release the mag, you have to push farther up.
The first gun I ever watched a coop review for, cuz I discovered this channel backs. Few years when my parents kinda sworn off buying nerf blasters, but they softened up on that
I bought one (I'm sorry, I had to) and it performs really well. The mag does not have any problems and I do the mag release with the thumb of my firing hand, it works pretty smooth.
I think the turbine would be useful especially in CQB game types, as you said it’s lighter and smaller, making it quick to whip around corners, add in a 30 or 25 round drum magazine filled with waffle head darts, and bam battle effective blaster.
With this particular blaster I always reload by grabbing the magazine with my fingers on one hand and using my thumb on the same hand to push down the release. It’s a lot less painful and actually feel kind of cool even if it takes a lot longer.
That’s what I do as well, I don’t mind the new magazine release but it’s just how you release it because like most people they use their trigger finger which is painful and harder which is why they get mad but they can also use your technique because it’s pretty much the same as the old magazine release
I was always pretty casual with Nerf and never did any big mods (literally only springs), so I got one of these out of boredom today without worrying about it being hard to open. The only thing that bothered me about it was the crappy mag release, so I just decided to cut it off. Seriously. I literally just took a box cutter and sliced off the mag release tab most of the way off in the mag well. I left a little bit of it in to provide a little friction in case the mag wanted to fall out, it’s so short now that the mag just slides over it anyway. I can’t attest to the consistency between different blasters, but mine grips the mag so tight anyway that the mag lock and release are completely unnecessary. The detector lock that locks the flywheels without a mag is firm enough to hold it in by itself, it clicks in and out anyway when a mag is pushed into or pulled out of the gun, so the lock and release are functionally redundant. The detector lock alone holds the mag tight until I yank on it. I can shake the blaster and it won’t fall out, and all it needs now is a firm tug to pull the mag out, I completely ignore the awful release now.
I bought this blaster today and im pretty satisfied with it. Didnt have any jams and malfunctions including the mag and the rate of fire is so very poggers. But holy damn im a smol kid and this is my first mag fed flywheel blaster so i didnt think abt the magazine release. I literally have to put down the blaster and use two hands to take out the mag
When you said “clipped together” what did you mean by that? I haven’t used an elite 2.0 blaster yet, but if I were to get one and try to mod it, would it just be more difficult to open or downright impossible? Is it possible to use a hot knife to cut through the plastic clips and/or glue? Thanks!
Its solvent welded, meaning that you have to actually break it to open it up, potentially damaging it beyond repair. So if you ever have a problem with the internals, you aren't able to fix it, your only option is to buy a new one, which is exactly what they want you to do.
@@josefsieffen18 I personally don't have any good reasons to buy or pre-order the MA40. It costs 50-60€ and I don't play Halo anyway. Even it looks super cool as a bullpup style blaster
I bought one yesterday. I noticed the way you use your thumb to press the mag release. That feels like that's the way it's designed to be used. Not with the back of the trigger finger. It would help if the printed instructions showed it. As a matter of fact that button's not on the product illustration on the back of the package. So far no jams or malfunctions with the included 18 round magazine. I used an old Rapidstrike CS-18 Clear mag, a new CS-18 orange mag sold separately and those worked fine. The AccuStrike Stratohawk (orange Rapidstrike) 25 round drum didn't fit the Turbine. I didn't try to force it. The darts I tried included fresh Elite that came with this, Blue Elite, Zombiestrike, Accustrike, Adventure Force wafflehead. Thanx for showing the firing rate differences between this the Rapidstrike XD and the other one. I was waiting for your shooting test on this. You never test fire outdoors and the others never shoot indoors. It's good that it's rapid. Has-bro did that correctly. I still say this Elite 2.0 line is for kids who don't have the originals that most of these are based on and it doesn't matter if they last and definitely can't be modded. It's not for those who own the original iterations like the Rapidstrike and Stryfe et al. In which case marketing chose the wrong name 'Elite 2.0' it should be called something else like Elite NB for Newbie or KO for Kids Only or NM for Not Moddable or GT Glued Together or SW for Sovlent Glued or FU lol etc. Seriously I'll consult! If other buyers have the QC magazine issue you had they're going to have returns. I wonder how many Wardens have been returned.
@Just a Normal channel No, just no. I can't even... this comment makes no sense for multiple reasons. Surely it's a reshell of a firestrike except it's flywheel powered, mag fed and fully automatic. 🤔🤪
This is honestly the best stock elite ammo blaster out there with the fastest firing rate of all, if the the mag release was quick fixed. With a fixed release, it is a cool blaster. Oh yeah, this is considering I completely forgot the clip and glue problem.
Fix the magazine release and put it in a traditional spot, fix the access door, and don’t glue the blaster together. If they had done that, I would have used this in all my games.
It's not necessarily the barrel material, I think it's the seal with the plunger tube that metal barrels create. It has a similar effect to how rifle barrels work in that it makes the blaster more air efficient, therefore increasing velocity and by proxy increasing accuracy.
@@narenthebeesechurgerman422 you guys are overreacting this very well would have been better if the mag release wasnt bad It has a faster rate of fire, it's more compact, and if you say "the hyper fire also is faster" the hyperfire didn't even hit the wall in the firing demo Coop even said that if not for the mag release, this would have been better
@@ethanzhang5198 the mag release isn't the only issue, although it is a glaring one. The blaster is glued shut, just like all the other Elite 2.0 blasters, so even if you want to fix the mag release problem, you can't. If the blaster ever breaks, or if you want to mod it, you can't without seriously damaging the shell. Your only choice upon the blaster breaking is buying a new one, which is exactly what they want you to do. Its unforgivable, and a huge step backwards for Nerf
@@rashamansour6251 he probably means not use it priately. Like in a nerf war. If nothing is shooting back at you a magazine jam or blaster jam isnt that bad. But in a nerf war it can make or break youre game
I'm not a fan of these magazine releases, but I also feel like over time it's something I can adapt to. Rather than using my knuckle I usually just reposition my hand to press the button with my thumb. It's an time consuming movement that costs time if you're feeling competitive but like any part of reloading you do it often enough to become second nature and the downsides of doing it negligible. Of course what would be great is if I didn't have to change my entire reload routine in the first place!
I know I am really late, however, regarding the mag release, Cissel/whittle down the mag lock in the mag well. It will return it to normal. Ahhh... ok
Coop: “I will not be using the included magazine at all because it is too unreliable.”
Also Coop: Proceeds to use the included magazine
Only for the firing demo. What he means by that is that he wont be using it private .
Nerf is going to be topped by dart zone and adventure force if they don’t start actually trying
Lets be real here those 2 brands topped nerf already, it’s confirmed after the release of that Nexus Pro blaster
Nerf should be cancelled
Joseph Joestar hey it is nerf that got most of us into the foam flinging hobby, stop disrespecting it
It's like Intel vs AMD, Intel just fucked around until it was way too late
Addy Liew they lost our respect ever since they glued the 2 shells of elite 2.0 blasters together. Its like they’re trying to say, ‘Hey! Is your blaster broken? Well fck you, can’t repair it this time, buy another one from us!’
For those wondering what the Turbine’s Rate of Fire is: it’s around 4 to 4.5 DPS (Darts Per Second) or 240-270 DPM (Darts per Minute)
So it’s initially in the middle between the Rapidstrike’s 3 DPS (180 FPM) and the Hyperfire’s 5 DPS (300 DPM).
Picked my rapidstrike after this thing released. I don’t regret anything.
Honestly, just about every blaster Hasbro releases anymore is just a slightly tweaked reskin of there other blasters
TL;DR: Jolt reskin (but explained more intellectually and not mentioning the jolt)
I mean, there are only so many blaster ideas available. They have to recycle old ideas sometimes because of the limits of what they're actually making.
Coop772: "smaller, more compact"
Nerf Turbine: (Holding HUGE 50 round mag)
Me: hmmmmm 😂
Few years when my parents kinda sworn off buying nerf blasters, but they softened up on that
For elite 2.0 I feel like they just got the alpha strike guys on the design team
For sure
Nerf should die right now
They need to bring back the original Rival designers
I bought one (I'm sorry, I had to) and it performs really well. The mag does not have any problems and I do the mag release with the thumb of my firing hand, it works pretty smooth.
0:50 look at Frank's face.😂😂😂😂
I think the turbine would be useful especially in CQB game types, as you said it’s lighter and smaller, making it quick to whip around corners, add in a 30 or 25 round drum magazine filled with waffle head darts, and bam battle effective blaster.
With this particular blaster I always reload by grabbing the magazine with my fingers on one hand and using my thumb on the same hand to push down the release. It’s a lot less painful and actually feel kind of cool even if it takes a lot longer.
That’s what I do as well, I don’t mind the new magazine release but it’s just how you release it because like most people they use their trigger finger which is painful and harder which is why they get mad but they can also use your technique because it’s pretty much the same as the old magazine release
same i always tactically move my thumb to release mag
Fun Fact: People who say “first” haven’t watched the entire video yet.
Correct
Correct, but neither have you lol 😂
agree
BeckettTheBucket he didn't say he watched it
I didn’t even try look at my comment
I bought this blaster today and im pretty satisfied with it. Didnt have any jams and malfunctions including the mag and the rate of fire is so very poggers. But holy damn im a smol kid and this is my first mag fed flywheel blaster so i didnt think abt the magazine release. I literally have to put down the blaster and use two hands to take out the mag
Woah 😳 I haven’t watched in so long he looks so different, I kinda like the longer hair tho
0:50 Look at franks face when the gun was shaking LOL😂
When you said “clipped together” what did you mean by that? I haven’t used an elite 2.0 blaster yet, but if I were to get one and try to mod it, would it just be more difficult to open or downright impossible? Is it possible to use a hot knife to cut through the plastic clips and/or glue? Thanks!
Its solvent welded, meaning that you have to actually break it to open it up, potentially damaging it beyond repair. So if you ever have a problem with the internals, you aren't able to fix it, your only option is to buy a new one, which is exactly what they want you to do.
Literally impossible.
So there’s no seam? Just one whole piece of plastic that you’d have to cut through?
@@afklion7140 thats how solvent welding works, removes any seems
Well that’s unfortunate
Yeah, Coop's happy when he said 3:16 firing demo
Coop: “even though it’s clipped together..”
Me: But I can see screw holes!
If this is a joke nice,
But if this isn’t there’s clips that hold it together under
I own one there are screw holes not tempting to open it thought
Those screw holes are trying to make every Elite 2.0 blaster even more secure even if they put some glue and clips
Coop was like " its the magazine release for me ❤
I can see Mega Darts. Motostryke review coming right after that
Nice!
Finally a Nerf blaster I want to see. Same with the MA40
@@josefsieffen18 I personally don't have any good reasons to buy or pre-order the MA40. It costs 50-60€ and I don't play Halo anyway. Even it looks super cool as a bullpup style blaster
Guess what? Motostryke is garbage too
@@josefsieffen18 really ? The internals suck, but the blaster concept isn't that bad in my opinion
I like how the gun has a fast rate of firing
I love how you get 2x the darts
Now you have extra
Now you have extra crap darts that should have been discontinued years ago
@@josefsieffen18 lol
Yeah that is one of the good parts of Elite 2.0
The reason for doubling the amount of darts is because kids will start thinking that they will get more darts and more color options for those
I bought one yesterday.
I think they heard complained of the echos magazine release so they tried to fix it but it got to hard this time. LOL
Coop always flexing his kitchen/hallway that's bigger than my whole house.
Tbh this is a reskin of a reskin , ish
Of a retaliator except this is flywheeled powered
Ah yes, resin. Tree waste
Nah, looks nothing like a retaliator. Reshell means same internals not looks
It's just a giant *Jolt Reskin* to me
@Just a Normal channel No, just no. I can't even... this comment makes no sense for multiple reasons.
Surely it's a reshell of a firestrike except it's flywheel powered, mag fed and fully automatic. 🤔🤪
Yes resin
One of the first few time I saw the gun before it's review on Coop`s channel. I will remember this glory moment.
The turbine shoots much faster than the rapidstrike, maybe even faster than the hyperfire
This is honestly the best stock elite ammo blaster out there with the fastest firing rate of all, if the the mag release was quick fixed. With a fixed release, it is a cool blaster. Oh yeah, this is considering I completely forgot the clip and glue problem.
Nerf should make double stack mags, if u know what i mean.
yes but it would costs more so they won't make it
They also only work with fresh darts. Accaptable for pros who buy new darts every war, bit not good for a toy for children.
Look at the worker dominator
Fix the magazine release and put it in a traditional spot, fix the access door, and don’t glue the blaster together. If they had done that, I would have used this in all my games.
Oh my god, Elite darts just bounce around, Waffle darts are just lasers
And rival is pretty dang accurate but drops off after 30 feet
Turbine blaster + Echo barrel + Tacticool x3 rail attachment from the Demolisher pack + a lot of attachments = *Holy, Tactics, Batman!*
Do a 430 dart challenge with this blaster
was looking for this comment 😂
I doubt he will because of the reloads 😂
glad to see my homie is doin good
I have a question, why did metal barrel increase accuracy but the plastic barrel doesn't
It's not necessarily the barrel material, I think it's the seal with the plunger tube that metal barrels create. It has a similar effect to how rifle barrels work in that it makes the blaster more air efficient, therefore increasing velocity and by proxy increasing accuracy.
@@stuffandthings8999 Physics at work
Songs With Added Pew Pew, it’s because metal has magic properties
I just got one and I am really happy with it. It’s my first automatic nerf blaster
Did any body realized that acustrike is replaced with ultra and modules is replaced by elite 2.0 but just reskins of old blasters
They might've discontinued accustrike to make ultra look good......?
Maybe
Nah, elite 2.0 is everything and that's sad ultra is kind of the new best and only option in marketing
But what I mean is modules is dis continued because of 2.0 and they are not that different you know what I'm saying
Elite 2.0, alpha strike and ultra are the only lines still being continued and they are all garbage
@@nitroflux_o1040 you are right
0:50 Haha I paused here to do something else and came back to the most amazing look on Coops face.
I buy this to my friend and he like:”is that hard to get a rabidstrike?”
I buy this for my brother and he's like "why do you hate me?"
Can Always count on Coop772 to guide you in the right direction. Thank You!
The "new" Rapidstrike
Nerf will never beat the rapidstrike, especially not with this garbage
@@narenthebeesechurgerman422 100%✔✔
@@narenthebeesechurgerman422 you guys are overreacting this very well would have been better if the mag release wasnt bad
It has a faster rate of fire, it's more compact, and if you say "the hyper fire also is faster" the hyperfire didn't even hit the wall in the firing demo
Coop even said that if not for the mag release, this would have been better
TheDolphinBoss I’m a modder, if it had screws I would’ve loved this thing
@@ethanzhang5198 the mag release isn't the only issue, although it is a glaring one. The blaster is glued shut, just like all the other Elite 2.0 blasters, so even if you want to fix the mag release problem, you can't. If the blaster ever breaks, or if you want to mod it, you can't without seriously damaging the shell. Your only choice upon the blaster breaking is buying a new one, which is exactly what they want you to do. Its unforgivable, and a huge step backwards for Nerf

Nerf is getting destroyed by adventure force, and I love it.
Hey look, a rapidstryke rip-off!!!
Its not really a ripoff it costs the same and shoots a lot faster

I know I am really late, however, regarding the mag release, Cissel/whittle down the mag lock in the mag well. It will return it to normal. (or is you accidently go too flesh, you can pull the mag out without pressing the button. the fiction fit will keep the included mag in and feed well, just don't yank the blaster.)
