@@JimmyPipeBomb I suppose this can be explained by the fact that the author simply decided not to show the same face model on Pyro as the burned Spy, so that it would not be so easy to understand, but I respect your opinion.

I've always thought the burnt model is particularly creepy, in hl2 you find it for the first time in canals while hiding from the helicopter, I remember crouching into a partially flooded tunnel to reach a health kit, I turned on the flashlight only to meet it right in my face. That was ages ago but I still remember it. Good times
I like to think that pyro showed his face to the spy trying to tell him that any negotiation is useless and that he doesn't care about the consequences of what he does.
another thing that makes this scene good is what happens after when spy is burned, he's left in a similar state to the pyro even down to the black clothes and white mask by the end
I actually thought the Pyro was one of the mercs Spy executed in the flashback with Archibald. Revived and broken. Ready to exact revenge against the one who ended his life.
Another thing that makes that scene a lot more interesting is the use of darkness, as the Pyro's face is the only thing that's illuminated by the lighter, it's the only thing visible and will immediately grab the viewer's attention.
this is my fav scene too, and lemme say. after our beloved on one side and hated on the other Spy asks Pyro "What do you want?", i believe pyro was trying to say "i want someone to know what i went through".
my favorite scene is Maynard playing the piano it, in a way, humanized him and gave a nice brief hold on the horrid nature of the happenings in the movie, granted it gets somewhat interrupted by the constant drilling in the background by Zed but in a sense, it showed the "beautiful" side of the "villains" of the story and made him feel like the victim once Ludwig attacked him
My theory is, the time loop we see in the movie is the direct cause of Pyro's appearance, although I doubt thar someone with 4th degree burns like Spy could even survive and let alone get The Pyro's pysique, He dies at Archibald's funeral, and well, the respawn machine got set on fire, and I wouldn't doubt the machine could get People's bodies mixed up, spy in his hospital bed also uses the charred model, not the burnt corpse one which is used for pyro's face. So even if it's plausible that Spy became The Pyro, it doesn't have much ground.
You should give it a try. It's a horror story taking place in the universe of the game "Team Fortress 2". However, you don't have to have played the game, because Emesis Blue stands on its own as an excellent movie.
The scene where Medic kills Maynard and Zed Conagher is my favorite. Just when you think Ludwig's story has been abruptly cut short, he comes back and brutally dispatches the two brothers with ease. I've always had a theory that Ludwig in this story has multiple personality disorder. The blackouts, the hallucinations, all of it starts to point to Medic being the plague doctor we see early on. As soon as he gets back up after taking that shotgun blast, the medic we've known so far isn't there anymore. He kills Zed with relative ease compared to his first attempt, and kills Maynard without any effort. If my theory is correct, Ludwig wasn't at the wheel in that scene, it was the plague doctor. Not to mention the main reason why i liked the entire sequence: Because it was a Pulp Fiction reference.
Pyro was on the mercenaries that could be respawned but unfortunately he was burned horribly and stayed alive instead of dying, maybe they didn’t allow him die because maybe the war ended and so did the respawn machine so he stayed scarred and burned. Maybe that’s his reason for hating the blue company because they left his disfigured. Being horribly disfigured he wasn’t accepted back into society.
Except when he gets killed here, he comes back still wearing the mask. In my opinion he died and came back still burnt- most likely another anomaly of the respawn machine
I thought the same tbh. But now that i think about it, he also could be medic, since he is seen respawning in a burning respawn room, and he is also seen in Scout's home. Damn it, this movie is so confusing 😣
Why was 6 afraid of 7? It's a fairly common question, mostly because when people see 6 and 7 next to each other, it doesn't really make sense. 6 is large, muscled, and trained in multiple martial arts, while 7 is fairly average, physically, and short. However, 6's fear of 7 has its roots in childhood. See, 6 and 7 grew up together, and for a few years, they were best friends. But then 6 kissed 3, and they became childhood sweethearts. 7 secretly had feelings for 3, so 7 decided he needed to destroy 6 to win 3's affection. He started subtly, undermining 6 whenever possible with passive aggressive comments and compli-sults. But over time, things got much more insidious. 7 started messing with 6's performance in school, bringing down his grades and turning teachers against him. Even worse, 7 became great friends with 6's parents and slowly turned them against their own offspring. At night, 7 would sneak into 6's bedroom, and whisper depressing and hopeless things into his ears. Every time 3 was around, 7 would pants 6 and make fun of his genitalia, or try to body shame him in other ways. However, 3 was both smart and compassionate, and saw through 7's schemes, sticking with 6, trying to counter 7's psychological tear-down with compliments and friendship. Finally, 7 decided that he would never be able to win 3, so he drugged both 6 and 3, taking them to an abandoned cobbler's hut on the edge of town. There, he proceeded to torture and maim 3, forcing 6 to watch in horror, unable to do anything to save his sweetheart. 7 didn't kill 3, but instead, put her in a semi-vegetative state. 7 cleaned the scene of his prescence, then called the cops, having 6 blamed for 3's condition. 6 was sent to prison, believing 6 was guilty, 6's parents fell into a deep depression, eventually committing suicide over what they believed 6 had done. After serving 17 years of a 30 year sentence, and getting out on good behaviour, 6, now muscled and skilled as a fighter, thought he might get revenge on 7. But when he finally tracked down 7, he found out that 7 had installed a micro-bomb into 3's body, and should he be killed, the bomb would automatically go off and kill 3 as well. And though she was still in a mostly fugue state, 6 couldn't bring himself to hurt her any further, and decided to try and move on with his life. However, being an ex-con, it was difficult for him to get a job. 6 finally found employment at a diner, which 7 then bought, and proceeded to again undermine and toy with 6 at every turn. 6 tried to find employment elsewhere, but 7 contacted any potential employer and soured them against 6. 6 finally realized that no matter what he did, 7 was going to try and ruin his life, and he resigned himself to living as a broken, lonely man, never able to stand up to the depraved, amoral 7.

My favorite scene would have to be the projector one, where it shows the emesis company logo, before phasing into a deep red abyss, where you could see what could only be tubes, which almost resembles blood vessels, as things are passing through them, for inside of these tubes are what could only be thought as.. bodies. Hundreds, if not thousands of bodies floating in this abyss of tubes and red. In my eyes, this could possibly be some sort of representation of what either happened to the dead bodies, Or.. that these are the souls of each Merc that has died and then be resurrected by the respawn machine. Think of it this way, let's say you have a document on a printer, and you want to make a photocopy, so you put it on the printer and make it take a photo to copy it; and then you do it again with the photo copy, and again, and again, and again, again, again. Until your photo copy is distorted and changed. In my theory, the respawn machine isn't just a machine that revives a mercenary but makes an exact identical copy. And where does the soul of that past merc who died go to? Well.. If we are to interpret the last scene where the suitcase is open and we see inside, perhaps the souls of those past mercenaries go into that hellish red abyss, like a disposal. That's why medic is so horrified. He's looking at his past souls and being put into a hellish torture that only man could make. That only our own foolish arrogance would make us do.
When you get a look at the red sniper, he looks normal, last time we see him, he has weird teeth, when his head is blown off, his normal teeth are back, why is this possible?
With evidence of Timeloops in the movie, and how Spy is wearing a similar mask towards the end of the movie, it makes me wonder if he's creating the set of events so Spy would become the Pyro.
Personally def scouts kidnapping in like the first i thjnk 10-11 mins and the pyrocynical face reveal The slow creeping atmosphere of the phone loudly ringing in the middle of the night and the scout picking it up only for it to be his own voice and the fact that they wee all previous voice lines indicates that whoever is following him has been watching for a very long time meaning from the beginning scout was stalked adding to the creepiness then with the haunting face of his mothers head while a menacing whistle plays only for the head to drop and when you think theres only person the camera moves to reveal the 2nd man who has probably been there for a while just both us the viewer and the scout probably just never saw it coming and especially the fact they didnt need to kill scouts mom nor did they have to toy with him they couldve easily just broke in and kidnapped scout but the fact they purposely tormented him before kidnapping shows there twisted nature almost inhumane to a degree It just feels like the perfect most intense scene on the entire film and shows why subtle story telling in films is important
Bro I can’t believe that the Butcher from Emesis Blue was such a good film character, that a company called Valve referenced him in 2 games. Half Life 2 & Team Fortress 2. In Tf2, you can play as the Butcher but he was renamed to Pyro, & lacks his white mask & green jacket. In half life, you can see his face on a dude sleeping. In fact, someone must’ve really liked the sleeping burnt man from half life that he decided to cosplay it. Ngl, he got everything accurate, just the hair & the right eye in the socket were the only things off, the rest is pretty good
On the upside at least the dead guy from the book was prolly already dead before he got his face melted since someone said there were multiple pictures of his face
My favorite scene Was soldier gunning down blu man in the car Actually killing the real evil instead of his fellow mercenaries And then red man getting ran over by medic Whole movie is amazing
I honestly think that the Pyro is meant to be a dark reflection of what spy becomes in the future. Pyro, has his faces burnt off and wears a mask to cover it, thus Pyro is practically insane, just like spy after this whole moment. Spy gets his face burnt off, and so spy has a lot of reason to go after Archibald, Soldier, and Medic. He wants them to feel pain, HE wants revenge. Just like how the Pyro wants his face back so he will go to down right torturous methods such as, so forcing them to play a game of Russian Roulette. And then finally, at Archi’s funeral, Spy is wearing a mask to cover is burned up face. Let’s not forget that Pyro was also set on fire.

It’s is now my headcanon. That the pyro is the guy from that original photo
I really liked seeing the image in the scene.
In my eyes, this could possibly be some sort of representation of what either happened to the dead bodies,
Or.. that these are the souls of each Merc that has died and then be resurrected by the respawn machine.
Damn dethtech i really like this band i never expected that i will hear it in any youtube video
What is the time on the scene?
half-life new sfm looks fire 🔥
When you get a look at the red sniper, he looks normal, last time we see him, he has weird teeth, when his head is blown off, his normal teeth are back, why is this possible?
With evidence of Timeloops in the movie, and how Spy is wearing a similar mask towards the end of the movie, it makes me wonder if he's creating the set of events so Spy would become the Pyro.
The scene where spy is recovering is a reference to a photo of a real texan burn victim.
wow, i didn't know that that ragdoll's texture was in fact a real person's face....
how was valve able to do that?
Every single human ragdoll in half life 2 has a real person’s face texture
@@gamercop2148 i knew dr kleiner, alyx and eli had real faces... but, just, wow..
They found it in a medical textbook
@@Handle_Space_GoblonI know that Sherlock.
@@gamercop2148 i wasn't talking to youc
Funny thing. This is ALWAYS how I imagined Pyro looking underneath his mask.
And you're correct. It is what I look like under the mask.
Personally def scouts kidnapping in like the first i thjnk 10-11 mins and the pyrocynical face reveal
The slow creeping atmosphere of the phone loudly ringing in the middle of the night and the scout picking it up only for it to be his own voice and the fact that they wee all previous voice lines indicates that whoever is following him has been watching for a very long time meaning from the beginning scout was stalked adding to the creepiness then with the haunting face of his mothers head while a menacing whistle plays only for the head to drop and when you think theres only person the camera moves to reveal the 2nd man who has probably been there for a while just both us the viewer and the scout probably just never saw it coming and especially the fact they didnt need to kill scouts mom nor did they have to toy with him they couldve easily just broke in and kidnapped scout but the fact they purposely tormented him before kidnapping shows there twisted nature almost inhumane to a degree
It just feels like the perfect most intense scene on the entire film and shows why subtle story telling in films is important
Ngl, he got everything accurate, just the hair & the right eye in the socket were the only things off, the rest is pretty good
Also my fav scene has to be Ludwig coming back from the dead to shoot the detective at the funeral
I had no idea this was Pyro
What if the normal TF2 Pyro behind the mask is a burn victim?
It’s the corpse model 01 from half life 2
I can’t take something seriously while looking at tf2 characters
great analysis! but i wanna know what is the background music?
Silent Hill tracks and HL2 City 17 soundscape
What is the outro song?
dethtech-going nowhere
does this mean that gmod are just able to show a burnt face if the burnt corpse model is shown in a video?
Well they took it from a medical study book and edited it slightly,
The original image still had some hair and an eye remaining
This version of pyro feels like what canon pyro would be like if pyrovision didn't exist
On the upside at least the dead guy from the book was prolly already dead before he got his face melted since someone said there were multiple pictures of his face
idk the scene of scouts mom peeking around the corner is scarier to me
I did that to her, remember?
as I said to my freind after watching this:
“I finally saw pyro’s face….
…and I wish I hadn’t.”
I'm the Pyro. And Spy said the exact same thing.
1:13 what song is that? Thats creepy!!
HL city 17 soundscape
I love that its a real c o r p s e

Ain't no way I just heard dethtech for the outro
Dethtech da goat 🐐
i think you're overselling this dude
true. this information changes absolutely nothing lol.
If that what blue pyro face look like
My favorite scene
Was soldier gunning down blu man in the car
Actually killing the real evil instead of his fellow mercenaries
And then red man getting ran over by medic
Whole movie is amazing
I'm sure everyone knows about the corpse now, and if not they must not really be in the know for the source engine antics
Let’s not forget that Pyro was also set on fire.
whats the song that plays in your outro?
also great vid

Ignoring the vid real quick, i noticed you changed your pfp from rei to pucci, have you been reading part 6's manga/watched the anime?
Yup i actually finally watched the anime for part 6 after ignoring it cause i disliked the manga back in 2018 and it actually flipped my whole opinion about it and pucci is now my fav villian from the series
Im even making a vid about him haha
Cool that you noticed

Tbh the persons face in the real picture looks cartoony
Ok
my feavrite scene is demo at laBorAtoRy
I loved how they presented the sign in that scene.
That eas clever af tbh
Blah blah blah live every zoomer is gonna go around yap about real corpse face being used as texture.
Gawd damn it, and here I thought guy has something interesting to say!
Seriously, I've heard this real corpse shit 100 times already.
you cant just dump info like that and then play an anime outro. Thats just not how it works.

I was like "oh is he gonna point out the fact that they used that one burnt face model which changes nothing about the scene?" before watching. Turns out im right lol. Really shocking that they used the burnt face model for the burnt face scene, I know.
the secret is the movie is actually overpraised average sfm garbage!?!!?!?!?! *slaps sides of head*
