I got a feeling this channel is going places with these reviews. I love seeing those Skervesen! I own 7 myself with 2 being built besides that and they're all incredible and different in their own ways. True pinnacle of custom shop guitars for an extremely affordable price. Their standards are out of this world!

Thanks Terry for your great comment. And wow, 7+2 Skervesen is surely a proper collection 😃! I love my 2 Raptors allot and a third one is already in the making. Have the feeling I will end as a poor but happy guitarist with all these beautiful Skervesen axes 😅

Was hooked on getting a Skervesen for quite some time now and soon I will finally place my order. I'm super excited and very glad that your great and thorough review confirmed my expectations and what I have heard elsewhere about them. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your great feedback 😊! You can definitely look forward to your planned Skervesen. The most difficult thing is to finally decide on the specs and the painful wait until you receive your killer guitar. Skervesens regular pictures updates make you look forward to your own custom even more 😃

Just placed an order for a Skervesen so this vid was comforting to watch since they placed well in the categories I value the most.

Thanks for your comment and many congrats to pulling the trigger on a Skervesen! You can't go wrong with them and I'm sure you will fall in love with yours in a second. Keep me updated :)

It is now two weeks short of a year and not much has happened. There was a pretty long waiting period to get the ebony I wanted for the fretboard so that is out of Skervesen’s control. I’ve had a few pictures sent to me of the neck and they told me they wouldn’t start with the body until the neck was more or less done.
Jarek, the guy who’s been doing the communications have been really quick answering my emails. There haven’t been much in the way of discussions about the build but I imagine they have a lot on their plate so that’s understandable. This is a really big investment for me as well so I’ve been very particular about how I want certain things and a bit fickle and indecisive on other things so I probably haven’t been the most relaxed customer haha.
I should say that I’m a lefty and a big part of why I finally chose Skervesen was that they have lefties on their team so that in a way ensures I will get a good quality control, or at least as good as the right handed ones get.
They said 12-14 months when I ordered so I don’t think they will be able to keep that but there was the wait for the ebony and added that it will probably come in below 14 months.
All in all I’m really stoked about the whole thing and can’t wait for it to arrive.

    so, on the comparison, a 2+ is better than a 2 but a 3 is worse. ?

only mayones can beat a skervesen in build quality

Thanks for your comment Nova and agree, Mayones sets the standard. Both Skervesen as well as Mayones Build fantastic axes. With Skervesen you have slightly more custom options to build your own instrument

I've been playing a Regius custom for the last two years and I can't remember life without it.
You can't appreciate it until it's in the flesh. I'm thinking Siggi Boo Custom for my next but not much info.
I hope everyone is having a great day. Wealth and Happiness.
