Very fun. Of course there shall be some hecklers on the drums. Thought it was useful though, as you can be heard playing a very impromptu feeling and free expression. Thought that aspect to be great. i am trying to get a drum program like EZ drummer and Superior drummer to use. Love both of these pickups. Of course they sound +O+mazing!
Thank you for good words! It's more fun and inspiring to record with drums, as you said, there is freedom of expression aspect and also I'ts beetter for improvisation
I own both pickups. I've been using X2Ns since 1985. The DAX is also an awesome pickup, a lot more modern than the X2N, designed for a tighter low end and darker. Also, you can flip the DAX around for a different tone, but the X2N is unidirectional as both coils are identical unlike the DAX. BTW What's your neck pickup and what sort of amp are you using?
I use Peavey 5150 Blockletter amp with Mesa 2x12 cab. In this case I bought firstly DAX on the bridge and felt that it misses some highs, so I moved this pickup to the neck position and bought X2N to the bridge - and now it is the perfect combo and will stay like that. I like placing bridge pickups to neck positions so firstly it was 500t on the neck - you can see it on the first half of the video.
I already made some changes for the future videos to make a drums better and quiter, also having guitar only, without drums - like in my other videos. I thought I's gonna be better in full context with the drums but I guess I overdid it 😂

The crazy drums ruined this video. I can't listen to the guitar tone. All I hear is the midi drums on some crazy out of time beats.

If anything, I would use a simple beat. It sounded like 2 different songs being played at the same time.@@neworderofsanity
