This is true. My Ex left 9 months ago. Immediately I went no contact, she greeted on my birthday February 2024, - no response from me. Recently, (2 months ago and counting) she keeps watching my social media stories every single time. There were a couple of comments from the stories like “I’m proud of you of what you’ve become, You are so blessed etc etc.” - a handful of direct/indirect comments but still I remained no contact. Then she said about the possibility of meeting next month which I replied in INDIFFERENCE… NC is so powerful thank u COACH. Imma say this, instead of focusing on what might go wrong today, Focus on EVERYTHING that could possibly go right.
Just to add a bit. Coach is right. Your ex’s have some sort of intimacy withdrawal. Can lead them to your social media pages and watch your stories, seeking to fill the gap left by the absence of regular personal interactions. When they watch your stories, it’s a way for them to remain connected to the intricacies of your life. “From the distance.” It’s a good thing they are watching your stories if you want them to get back to you.

I am one of those people who never stay in an unhealthy relationship. I go no-contact, and spend all my time on MYSELF.
People who don’t appreciate me and don’t want me, simply don’t deserve my time. They ALWAYS come back. But I never got back to them. It’s too late..
I have been alone for 6-7 years now. No sex. I have never felt this good! The bonds I had with men due to sex or emotional support has been transmuted into self care and awareness.

Broadly speaking i think some people choosing to walk away and never look back is fine. But what I’ll say is this in my experience what I’ve found is breakups tend to happen for a reason…. Even if you are blindsided.
And it’s not because she is an FA. One of my biggest issues with attachment theory is that sometimes we misuse it as a way to label or diagnose and then subsequently justify whatever narrative makes us feel better.
Of not all the times but I see this way too often. I can’t tell you how many supposed FAs or DAs I have seen come back just by applying attractive behavior plus having a willingness to walk away.
Also whether someone is avoidant or not that is not something you can change. It might make you feel good to have a diagnosis but there’s no solution.
My point is not that attachment theory is fake but I’ve seen too often people conflate low interest behavior with avoidant attachment style.
Always focus on what you can control. How do I become a more attractive person and also how do I demonstrate my attractiveness with my actions. This is the best bet, whether you want your ex back or someone new.

I’m only speaking from experience there because by definition, FA’s get overwhelmed and have anxiety when they start to get really close with people, which is why they tend to have a lot of short term relationships. My most recent relationship was one with someone I suspect was FA because she ticks lots of the boxes, and she didn’t leave because I was “too invested” she actually went cold after SHE exhibited behaviors that indicated she was more invested. She love bombed me so hard on my birthday buying me tons of presents that all had significant meaning to me, then literally the next day ghosted me for a week, only to reach out again when I didn’t reach out, and then a week later, tell me she “wasn’t ready”
@@blacademicthis is why you’re the best Coach and the person whose advice I’d take over anyone else. Leaning on attachment theory too much is a crutch. Plus, those things are fluid. A person you’d swear is DA can meet a new person and be super anxious.

Great advice coach but in 2024, this new generation does not care. People dump you and monkey branch to the next person, they have the grass is greener on the other side syndrome and they quickly hop on those apps, rebound and keep moving. If they do come back, it's mostly likely after a failed relationship and they will only bread crumb you til someone who they deem is better than you comes along. Save yourselves the heart break of hope, move on, focus on you and in time you will meet someone else. Stay Strong.

This a lie I brought more to the table mentally,physically,and emotionally. I dumped him.He wasn't worthy .I rather give my best to a better man that loves me the way I luv him.
The problem I’m having is that even after 40 days of NC and holding up pretty well, if she did come back I don’t know if I can bring myself to be cold to her. I know if she came back and showed convincing apologies I’d go so fast back into how loving and giving I was before without being able to stop myself.
It’s a big advantage that you know yourself that well. A lot of people pretend to heal so when the person comes back the old problems set it immediately

@Raresstanciu1 This is false, I can count on multiple occasions my exes coming back. Oftentimes the relationships don't work in the end, but this is usually due to lack of work being done on ourselves and insufficient EI. It's all a learning process.
@@Raresstanciu1 of my 7 relationships every single one of them tried to come back except the current one. One got married and reached out when it hit the rocks. (I didn’t meet up like she wanted) Sometimes it takes a while. If you were good to her she’ll try to come back.

She went on to say in a call that she was sorry about the way she treated me and that she was missing my friendship and that she wanted to be my friend. I said to her that I wasn’t friends with my exes, she asked to please reconsider and I told her:you know what, when I go back to Lima I’ll give you a call and let you know I’m there. If you’re single and I’m single and we feel like doing some thing then we will see. But there is no way that I’m gonna be your buddy or be your emotional support. She asked me to do please reach out to her.

Problem is any guy can go no contact and get the ex back, but in meantime the ex screwed around. It takes resolve to assign an appropriate penalty - ie now she waits while you experiment and experience other women. You can’t just “take her back” because she chases you suddenly. (Caveat - careful, don’t make a baby in a fling…..unless you want 😊)

What's the point? You need to endure so much pain and you are confused about whether they may return or ever wanted you ? Or are you crazy? Did you blow it? In the quest of finding an answer you play them on repeat in your mind to a point where you almost throw up. By the time they return, your don't feel the same intensity again. Because your innocent love is gone. Even if you accept, it won't feel the same. Either way its ruined.

My 20yr relationship has recently ended. In hindsight it was over within 1st 2yrs, but i refused to let go, even when it became extremely toxic. There has been no sexual contact or intimacy of any sort for the last 18 of those 20yrs, but it wasn't an issue for either of us. We're goin through the no contact atm, although tbh iv not adhered to it, mainly bcoz iv had OCD from age of 4 that's 53yrs. So if a thought comes to mind to do something i have to act. As much as i try to resist acting on the thought i know im goin to have to act at sum point, bcoz the alternative is far, far worse. So it's lesser of 2 evils. So might as well do wotever sooner rather than later. Defying really isn't an option x x.

I was blocked everywhere and she texted me on my two numbers asking how I was doing saying she was thinking about me and unblocked me on ig. I was polite but indifferent and used the opportunity to suggest we meet up. Later that same day she reached out to schedule something. My ex used to weaponize no contact against me as a punishment because of channels like these.
Sorry for him because I was always the one with the secure attachment even if I have trauma issues. If someone treats me bad, whether it’s ignoring me or intentionally trying to get a reaction out of me, I will be as stoic as a statue and LEAVE. Both of my parents were child soldiers who suffer from NPD comorbid with other traits, nothing can break me bro 😎 I was born and lived thru hell, anything after that just feels mid and irritant like a mosquito bite.

But in general if they left you, allow them to come to you first
I’m so glad you said forever. If you have a set number of days in mind, it’s not real no contact. You’re waiting on a countdown and not pulling energy back and they can feel that. For real no contact you have to do everything you can to detach or it’s pointless.

Whats annoying is that he is the one who didnt want commitment and pushed me away by blocking me but then when i went no contact and blocked him back, he came back weeks later trying to see me and acting interested again.
