    Awesome, brotha! I've never ego lifted.
    Medium weight with proper form and control > throwing heavy weight
    My 9 yr old son squats ontop of the toilet seat. We have a squatty potty, have used one since it launched. Lol I love it.

    I've done yoga for years and only recently moved into weight training. They go together so well, although spacing out your yoga practice and gym visits is key... Yesterday I got really bad muscle spasms going to a yoga class too soon after the gym.

    Great video. I do resistance training twice weekly and yoga 3-5 times weekly, but usually not right after resistance training. I recently completed yoga teacher training myself. Strength, flexibility, mobility and cardiorespiratory fitness are all important for health and longevity.

    Awesome video. The timing of this is so interesting. I have 2 weeks left of 2 years of weights training, and have been looking into yoga as a break from my 5 days of weights training.

    I love this! I introduced daily yoga into my routine as my new year's resolution for 2023 and I feel like not enough people think about putting yoga and bodybuilding together. This video does a great job illustrating how doing both can be super helpful to your growth as a bodybuilder!

    I just found your channel and want to say you’re a life savior! Due to some illness I’ve been weight lifting for 9 months now and have lost 15 lbs and noticed some changes in my body but not big difference yet on gaining much muscle. I know it’s due to lack of enough protein and diet. I’ve been a vegan since I was 9 years old so my entire life… I’m just so happy I found your videos on what to eat in order to look and feel stronger! 💪🏽 thank you 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

    I love this video so much. Yoga and bodybuilding should be combined bit seldom is. I’m so glad you took off your shirts, not because you both look amazing but because it gives the viewer a chance to see the movement better. Thanks for making this video! ❤💪🏼🧘🏻

    I agree. Also very strongly… qi gong. It’s being able to get the energy consolidated and flowing through the body. Only lifting and training I found started to leave me feeling blocky. The intelligent movement of these other two disciplines I find essential. Flexibility is also an indicator of strength.
    I mention this in an interview with Jen Peach here on the tube recently.

    Hey man question!!
    I want to try vegan for 90 days see how my body reacts and stick to it if it goes good. I want to build muscle but how do I calculate my macros? Or where can I go to get more information on what to eat? I heard tofu is not good from other people, that it is processed food?

    Nimai could you help me? I was wondering if I could train with you? Even for a day or weekend.I’ve never lifted weights before, mainly cardio like jogging biking basketball and tennis. The last few years have been tough for me and I have gained a lot of weight. I am on a vegan diet and could really use the help with some training advice. What do you think?

    If you don't consume any meat or flesh, your reflexes become faster and moves become sharper, you start to feel lighter, faster. You only need to work on strength but not bulk. Lighter bulk and a strength and speed

    Dear Nimai, thank you being a light in the dark. Im 51 years old and am vegan. Wherever I go i get told that I'm on the verge of death, and where do i get my protein etc yada yada yada. it's exhausting being told i need to eat meat by a pre diabetic on the verge of a heartatack flesh eater. Anyway, do you have pointers for me because at this age i'm not able to build muscle. i can lose weight. for a month i took a 30 day yoga challenge where i did vinyasa flow waves yoga and sculpting yoga (aka psycho yoga). i dbled up and couldn't get rid of that female fluff that seems to have found it's way to my stomach and my thighs. i can't seem to build muscle and boy does it hurt for days. it took me a week for the muscle to stop hurting in my arms after surfing for a few hours. my arms ye gads. i'm outta shape.. it's been a long time, but i'm not seeing the results i used to see when i was younger. do you have workout for vegan premenopausal
    women. i also have a c section in which the doctor tore through my ligaments. i used to workout 2.5 hours a day and had a perfect body when i was younger and yes i was vegetarian but not vegan. help!!!! do you have programs for women like me? and yes i'm vegan and no i won't eat meat product and i know i don't have to but my lifestyle has been sedentary and getting back into health is not what it used to be.

    Please do research into proper yoga. The west has taken yoga and made it into physical exercise which is totally not the purpose. Please also do research into a what a real yogi is....nobody in India would teach this type of yoga. It is meant to raise your spiritual energies and prepare you for meditation. I suggest reading " Autobiography of a Yogi" then you would understand what yoga is and what an actual yogi is . 😊
