I sometimes do variations: pause squats, deficit deadlift, or ×9 pause deadlift. Currently I'm training to get a 401 lbs beltless high-bar squat & 500 lbs beltless conventional deadlift; my best are 386 lbs beltless high-bar squat & 470 lbs beltless deadlift😎. Bulgarian split-squats are great for building legs😉, but they aren't as bad as 20 reps on barbell squats or deadlifts.💀
Didn’t want to go do leg day today… but you reminded me that working towards a goal means going when we don’t want to and progressing. Thanks!!!
👏🏼 be proud of yourself for going!
Thanks for your video. I love watching your videos. I would say im a beginner at weight lifting at 42 yrs of age. Ive been going for a year and 4 months now and i love it. I can dead lift 140 pounds now witch is my PR. Im pretty happy about that. Any way i dont mean to Gloat. Im just excited about my progress. And i do it on a whole foods. Plant based diet.💪💚
🥦
I finally enjoy split squats but it took about 10 years 😂😭
Hell yea! Thanks for taking us along through the workout!
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Like the workout content. Thank you.
I felt the same about split squats. It’s the best workout when I have done the exercises I noticed I avoided. Realizing it by is the big first step. Thanks for your authentic presentation. Cheering you on. Stay well.
Was a definitely a great workout , always looking for progression not perfections , as long you show up everyday you will have results at one point. Love your mindset brother 🙌🏻
🙏🏻 thanks for pushing me that day!
The Vedge products, btw, are SUPERB!
Love the crop top 🤎🖤
I'm working on my summer body now.
I've never owned a crop top or even worn a tank top in public. I'm just a a skinny vegan guy trying to make some gains 😭😅
Awesome
Leg Day is the best day. You gotta shed tears to earn those tear drops. Haha
I have a bad back from the military, so I do a lot of alternative "safer" workouts.
Im forced to so the same but i find myself having even less options since my legs can have a terrible pull action while they are sore and certain exercises give me a higher chance for it to happen. I cant even workout my legs while they are sore so sometimes i can only work them out once a week. Its hard figuring out a routine that works for me without the issues.
I don't like squats with the bar on my shoulders, it feels risky for my spine. I'd rather do leg press for high volume and squats pulling the bell up with my hands for form.
If you want to bias all 4 parts of your quad you need some sort of squat pattern that will include knee extension. If your gym has a back squat or pendulum squat use that if not smith machine squats are great as well.
I do hack squats for this reason
I’m glad I’m not the only one who has avoided split squats in the past lol. 😅
Dope
Intensity vs Volume ?
Thoughts on Mike Mentzer ( HEAVY DUTY ) and Dorian Yates ( HIT ) versus volume training ???
Do the leg machines place too much stress on the knees? Is there a proper method to take more stress of the knees? Or, non machine workouts? ~Thanks~
👍💪🌱
🤘🏿🙌🏿
Love the crop top. It looks more masculine because the length is good. If it was shorter then it would look more feminine
5:23 what are knee wraps for?
Hi Nimai, I’m an older guy, (72) I’ve been Vegan for 4 years. I wish I had done it years ago but I feel great so I’m all in. I workout in the gym but I also play a lot of tennis. Do you recommend supplementing with creatine for muscle growth?
You are very inspirational, keep doing what you do.
All Ab-owners should wear crop tops 😅
Sauce of old muscle man ?
Bulgarians are killer. A great thing to do on the last set is to do your normal set, drop one dumbell and do the same amount of reps, then drop the second weight and do the same amount of reps bodyweight. Absolutely destroys the legs
Bulgarian SS are the worse! But they work 👌🏽
They definitely work!
Do or don’t…There is no try!!
Nimai, what is yoour Blood sugar level ???? i really want to know . how high and lows you go ?
I don’t track it
Thanks for the pep talk at the end, needed to hear that✌🌱🧝♂
🦵🍑💚🌱 leta doooo iiiiitttt, love your videos!!
Thank you!
