So great to have Alexi back on the pod! Hey listen this might come as a surprise but like 80% of the views on this channel are from NON-SUBSCRIBERS-WTF? So my only ask is that if you have extracted VALUE from this platform, PLEASE take a micro-second to HIT SUBSCRIBE. Thank you🙏🏼 Also you can find MUCH MORE about Alexi & the show here👉🏾bit.ly/richroll795
@@kalena26 I have not deleted any comments on this video so your comment is very bizarre. As a general rule I do not delete (or 'monitor' whatever that means) negative comments on any of our videos. The one exception is ad hominem attacks on my wife -- I will not tolerate that. Otherwise I'm hands off. So I have no idea what you are referencing specifically here.
How could I have become unsubscribed? I WAS subscribed and just read this and looked, WTF, is right. YT messing with ur #'s, maybe? Anyway, I just subscribed again. Love your work, Rich.
The way she delivers her thoughts, is like walking through her brain with subtitles; no-thing goes unsaid. Full unfold. What a badass podcast. Thank you BOTH!
Yet again, another guest who I had never heard of before, but blew my mind with all of her goodness, wisdom, and grace. Especially for someone still so young.
Anybody else like me? I have no interest in sport, even the Olympics nor the World Cup, BUT, I've now listened to this twice. So much wisdom, advice, stories, humour and uplifting joy. On her IG account she made me think she was the Sierra Ferrell of Olympians. 🙂
It was interesting to me how Alexi (25:00 ish) was talking about going with decisions she "has a crush on" and Rich kinda party pooped it with his "note of caution". I think the look on Alexi's face was saying it all!
Yeah, that was so weird. I wanted to scream at him through the screen to shut up and just let her share more of her experience with her expansive/contractive decision making. Like, why have someone on to interview, then poo-poo their answers and tell them that the tools that have been helpful for them might not actually be so great? It's not like he's her child and she's come to him for guidance; she's not there looking for advice. She is there to share as someone who as accomplished a hell of a lot, and he shuts her down. I noticed her face totally fall, too. It was really frustrating.
@14:39 What Alexi mentioned on find purpose through questioning is really interesting because that's something that Brad Stuhlberg and Steve Magness in their podcast with Rich for their book the Passion Paradox also mentioned.
1:18:17. That was a real game changer for me when Alexi was talking about her therapy. I so related to her. But then she went on to talking about mental games and strategies she uses to win races. When previously she spoke about how running Ultras was all about lifting up others and helping them along the way. Did I miss something?
Dear Rich, I discovered your Podcast before Covid. It was most enjoyable, entertaining and inspiring. Though I continued watching, during Covid the office became dark, the fresh attitude vanished and it became a little downbeat. Though you were a role model in dealing with the stuff and try to lift us mortals up. But now, you seem to be back, as suddenly, there is this inspiring spirit around you and your Podcast, which got me hooked a long time ago. Gung-Ho and all in. With a ton of fun and ideas. Glad to have you back 😎🤠👍🏻🚀😉 It is not meant presumptuously, as we do not know each other in person. I am a husband, father, entrepreneur with 2 successful companies and this is said on eye-level and I do only relate to your public appearances and the Podcast 😎👍🏻
I understand why she did though. Selfishly it would be cool to witness the nitty gritty but shes a professional athlete and foremost a human being. We gotta give room for the process. And what a gift to hear how she reconciled disguising the injury in retrospect- something i can definitely relate to

Thank you so much! I truly enjoy the conversations and your choice of guests!
So many gems in this one, I already can't wait to listen again so I can really sit with them.
I loved Alexi's first podcast, thrilled to see her back!!
This podcast, Rich. I often write how great it is. This one, though, what a gift! Thank you!!
I am so so glad you had Alexi back!
37:25 “I don’t want to run in a straight line!” 🤩🥰🙌

I'm glad it wasn't just me! Yeah I was loving how lit up she was and then poop! Rich killed it! @@svenskayak3675

The rapport and mutual respect is palpable
One of the best! Inspiring positive spirit sharing her light. Thank you both. Just checked Bravey out of the local library and can't wait to read it ❤
This conversation is killer
Just woke up and this is what I needed to hear.
This was a beautiful conversation! 🙏
What an amazing individual!

Plus it was a bizarre pivot. Can we learn more about her therapy? This podcast was poorly edited.
Oh my gosh I’m just excited to listen to this
So inspiring! Thanks Alexi!
LOVE HER!!!

Thank you for this viewpoint. Signed, an overachiever
Leadville is in August. Love the mental health conversation(s)!!
“40% fit and 100% healthy”: ❤❤❤
Loved this, and would love Derek Simnett or Jeff Pelletier
Endearing and wonderful ❤😂
Alexi is the 🐐
So excellent. So helpful. Thank you both.
I was subscribed and somehow got unsubscribed. Huh? So I just subscribed AGAIN!
Rich, ever considered cirque du soleil athletes for your podcast?
Leadville is usually mid late August
yes!!! psyched about this!!!
Love the socks 😍 🎉
I like this 🤗
is that the new apple ultra on your wrist, Rich?
Please invite Scott Barry Kaufman again and continue your conversation about masculinity 🙏
Wow 1:20
Okay, so now get Kara Goucher on!
It's scheduled:)
❤😊
I am a runner with a crush...
I am disappointed that she hid her injury during the first podcast!❤
I understand why she did though. Selfishly it would be cool to witness the nitty gritty but shes a professional athlete and foremost a human being. We gotta give room for the process. I LOVE ALEXI PAPPAS 🤍🤍🤍 bummer about her shoulder at the games this year. But its the evolution, aye?
