BMW E36 Oil Pump Nut Mod

Today I am going to fix a common E36 problem on the Dubya. Evidently the Oil Pump Nut can come loose with a lot of excess vibration (Clutch Kicking, Drifting, Lighter Flywheel, Etc), you know Daily Drifter stuff 😂.
So since we have access to the oil pump, we may as well do this little upgrade to potentially save our engine. The fix is to add some red Loctite and drill a very tiny hole through the oil pump nut so you can secure it with safety wire. This is commonly done on Airplanes to secure nuts and bolts that are prone to high vibrations. If it is good enough for a plane it will be good enough for the Dubya.

This will fix pump nut loose tendencies, but wont fix oil pump axle shredding. :( It is close to useless without a sistem that stretch the chain and prevent wobling

I have a question, my E36 318 TDS compact has already burst the oil exchanger 3x, no one has ever discovered the problem, now a well-known gentleman, who was a Bosch employee for many years in Germany, told me that the problem is often in the By-pass valve on the oil pump, can anyone help me? tnks 🇵🇹👍
