Amazes me how big boss knows how to disassemble and reassemble so many pieces of hardware without a guide. I get it comes with experience, but this guy can take anything apart safely!
I missed the "press and hold, wife is calling: don't pick up. Press and hold, there are thieves in the store: let them take whatever they want. Press and hold" 😂 too good.
Hi Alex can you please please make a quick video about how to inject voltage and where you inject it, eg through a test probe or alligator clip, and a video about how you check mosfets would also be awesome! Some quickie type videos, would be a fantastic addition to your channel!. Keep up the amazing work my friend. From Australia!
I like your advertising your products , makes it easy for me to know where I can get your tools. I watch a lot of different types of videos and then I have to spend 40 minutes trying to figure out where I can purchase the product . Being a person who can never find the right tool and in the has to build something himself I enjoy knowing where to get the great tools you use .
Going back and looking at footage from the first part of the video you can tell that trace to pin 8 is broken close to the pad. It is so hard to notice and I never would have seen it until you started testing and had issues. Crazy it's hard to see even under the microscope. Excellent repair as always!
At 4:18, I already noticed that the track to pin 8 was broken. I thought it was because of the glare from the light. Still, I wondered, if you would notice it, if it was indeed broken. I remember that normally you only look at physical integrity of the pins (correct me if I am wrong). But in the end, you did look at continuity of all the pins before sending it to Big Boss. Thankfully, because that would be a waste of your time. That just shows again what a genius you are. Every time I learn more from you! Thanks!
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Not only does it help gain more knowledge on how to approach an electronics challenge, you provide valuable insight as to how you work more efficiently. I do miss a lot of sleep, because I am in a different timezone very often. And even though shipping stuff from your shop to me (Amsterdam region, The Netherlands) will be quite a substantial factor, I still feel you deserve our loyalty for all the educational things you post on a regular basis. Keep it up, Alex! At present, I am both working and vacationing in Hong Kong and Philippines. It is already close to 6AM. I'll hit the sheets when your video is done. Sending kindest regards from Manila. ;-) One more thing ... Thank you so much, shukran habibi, merci beaucoup!
Wait ... there are people who dislike you promoting your very own shop? What do these ppl do with other ppls videos who have sponsors? I cannot wrap my head around that. Your repairs provide me with valuable insights into all parts of electronics. And if I ever plan to get into repairing I would by the stuff you use, all the better buying directly from you. Please keep up the great work.
i started watching your videos two months ago.. and i got somehow addicted. i dont know how many i have seen but i am close, i will see all of them (which are A LOT) within next month. I started watching because a am a "proud" owner of an HP spectre x360 with the usual issues. i managed to "fix" the problems without soldering but i got stuck to your videos. awesome !!!!!!!!
to be honest i do not like advertisment... but im totally gets your point and totally understand why you doing it and as far i decided to watch your vids i got to agree to accept it... im happy for you the buisness going well and wish you to continiously grow... you had been working hard for it for long time, i do see effort you putting on your work, so good luck and all the best ...cheers sir
What sort of person to have to be to take the time to comment and complain about the guy advertising products in his video. I bet these are same type of people who obliviously watch other youtubers rave about products without declaring the video is sponsored.
As someone that used to repair SMC at a casino, I know just how difficult some repairs can be. Thanks for the in-depth videos that you provide to the community.
You make this look too easy. Awesome 👏 .. I buy supplies but unfortunately they do not come packaged with your skills. That would sell really well. Look forward to the next video 👌👌💥
I like the fact that you promote your products and services because that way I know that if I need something to work on my electronics I can order it from you. I would rather support your small business rather than support some huge conglomerate that doesn't care about it's customers. Thanks you for showing us your products.
Why would anybody be mad that YOU advertise YOUR business on YOUR channel?! Absurd. Keep doing what you’re doing, I love your videos and I go into your videos expecting to hear you plug your business. That’s exactly what one should expect from basically a how-to video. Keep it up Alex, love your content!!!
Thank you Alex, Big Boss and dad!!! What is that electric screwdriver that Big Boss was using? Also do you have a video on the T3B Aixun soldering station reviewing it? ✌️❤️
whats wrong advertising in his own channel? His channel his business. whats wrong with that? for all the people repair electronics. alex is my favorite. good job always.
I like your advertisement, knowing that you put a lot of effort in your video production and the revenue coming now is what you deserve for your work ♥️
Very proud how far you've come! I remember hearing stories about when you first started. Which was very inspiring for me. I was there once too. Thanks for the videos.
I for one am glad you advertise. If not for you advertising I would have not seen the NF.Short Power Supply Short Injection tool and bought one. I have been in automotive repair business for years and it never gets old of slurs from the jealous type. Keep up the good work. I see other tools I am looking to buy in the future.
Am always in for the videos...this is one of the tedious hdmi fixes....thank you for your dedication and marvelous exposure to teach us how its done.....
Another great video! I noticed at about 3:57 a small gap is visible in the line very near pad number 8, so that's probably what caused the difficulty... I wanted to yell out when I saw it, but of course you could not hear me in the past! Thanks again for making, editing and posting your videos!
Proud to be one of your viewers and i wish you more success because you truly deserve it , god bless you & big boss , i really hope that you can get the warehouse that you made a video about , it's really a very nice & large place , أخوك نديم من مصر 🙂

That makes no sense that people get irked over you advertising your products. I have purchased your products...the camera bundle, among other products. I appreciate you taking the time to demo and evaluate them first.
English isn't my first language, but I'm never realized your accent isn't pure north american accent, and I liked it. people born in one place, live in another, come back and it's wonderful!
Your upload time and my wake up time are pretty closely matched. I don't get what's wrong with people, you learn from successful people. Respect, my father was an Electrical Engineer who specialized in heavy industrial power. Anyway, have a great day! 👍😎
I dont know is it just me but I have seen pin 8 broken connection soon as you showed pins, but wasnt sure is it some dirt or reflection. Thank you for videos, keep going and best luck to you and your business.
Not sure why anyone would have a problem with the advertising. It's not even advertising, more like a plug for an item that is being used during a video and for the shop. You work hard for your success so more power to you!
Hi Alex , greetings from the UK . really enjoy your videos i have been inspired , Electronics has moved on in the last 30 years , I trained in Marconi back in the early 80s . i remember a mobile automated lab coming to our place that was making SMD circuits . I have set up a basic station in work inc a budget microscope and have already repaired a few parts , thanks to .I have to say you have an amazing dry humor that makes me smile daily look forward to the day i can afford to buy some of the great products you are selling . Andy
I knew from the beginning that you are Lebanese, I didn't know why I felt that. But I'm always enjoying and learning from your videos. I'm Lebanese and living in Lebanon and I hope someday I can have all tools needed for repairing or at least most used ones because I'm good with such tools and I have a good background because I've already worked with such tools before and after studying Electrical Engineering.
I like how at the end Big Boss always has the poker face at the "Boss of all bosses" line. He has already accepted the fact that he is the biggest boss of all bosses :)
I like the video of Big Boss Assembling! Nice touch! Another great video. I've been in Electronics for over 35 years and I get such great entertainment watching your videos. You take great pride in the Quality of your work! Thank You!
I advise people buy practice soldering kits. They're not very expensive and once the project is done, you actually make something (Usually it's like a ring of LED lights or other things). It's a great way to hone your skills before taking on jobs yourself like replacing high pin count connectors.
I am from the Netherlands and I love watching these videos I learn a lot of it I don’t have the tools but still love to wacht so keep up the good work 💪💪💪
Alex it's strange that you mentioned where you're from because I was thinking to myself yesterday where are you from? So my question basically got answered today in this video thank you 😃. Keep up the good work and don't worry about Negative people they are just jealous of your success and your trade. Knowing that you're from Lebanon is awesome, I'm from JOHANNESBURG South Africa.
I love your comment to those complaining you having success. I’m a big fan (situated in Denmark) of your channel. I want all the best for you and your family 😊
Great video as usual. I for one don't find any issue with you advertising your products.. That's what a business does. In doing so it enables us to enjoy your outstanding skill and professionalism. Unfortunately there will always be those who are so miserable, that the only way they feel relevant is to make others miserable and complain about everything. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Really like that you still checking every pin several times after doing this for years. Probably all fine, and did it 6million times, but still check it.
Just placed an order yesterday. Thanks to your dad for shipping so quick. I would suggest linking the video you did comparing Amtech 213 vs 559 on the product pages. Thank you!
I'm very impressed, Alex. And making sure your kids can speak Arabic will help them so much. I love languages and my first language is English, UK variety, which I use for writing fiction, but I can speak French quite fluently, some Spanish and a little German. And I include computer programming languages too. Mainframe assembler, PL/1, REXX etc. and some PC languages including VBA. But I'm now retired and don't use any of my skills learned over a lifetime. I just sit back and admire skills that you have. I did make an elctronic organ from a kit, but there were no surface mounted components. I did get good at soldering - 2000 components gives a good training, but I don't use that skill any more either. Please keep the videos coming. I get great enjoyment watching a true craftsman at work.
how cannot tell you im happy to see your videos and your ads, ofcourse you must do it in your videos and also i need to said THANK YOU im in china living in china and i watch all your videos and i learn a lot and still learning i bough many tool and i try to fix everything my friends throw away my big challenge is my sons laptop is not turn on so thank you for share your knowlege take care an please keep showing us the happy face when you fix something doesnt matter if you do it 1000 times but you still show you happy face....thank you
I found you by accident I'm glad I found you. I've been Southern since the seventies and then moved over the Microsoft ring and you are correct it takes a while to learn how to use A microscope I am very good in solder both standard and micro but I've learned so much from your videos I look forward for your next video.
Another great repair, perfect job. As always. Well, it is your business, your channel, your work and your videos. You are totally free what you wanna tell us, show us and do with your channel. It is your business and you have to earn money, for your business, your family and your co-workers. So you have to make ads. Thats totally normal and thats fine and informative for us viewers and fans. Every shop or everyone who wanna sell something has to make ads, talk or show their products. If you don't do this, you can't sell something....thats it. Thank you for that video
These stay-away type of people are really writing comments just for jealousy.People shouldn't care if you advertise or dont they should care about the knowledge and lesson they get each video from you. And really thanks for the knowledge you give each video it's priceless.
Alex, I have watched almost all your vids last years, more to see troubleshooting techniques opposed to the soldering, and this video triggered a question. So many ripped pads come by in your vids (I would call it Nuclear Feast), is this because of the fact they try to pull off the components while they have not been heated enough for the solder to melt, or is it because of the soldering station not having enough capacity. If these people are able to find you for sending in stuff, you would imagine they know about low melt solder. Keep them vids coming, no need for me to say keep up the good work...your work is excellent. As HWbot overclocker I have many boards that do not work but kept them all, maybe I need to send you a box full ;)
Work ethic will go straight to your family, good ethics is important. You work to make money for your a family and some people do not get that if they have no ethics. Keep doing what you are doing and thank you...John
man, you are serious crazy talented at this man!. good for you!. your buisness Deserves to thrive when you are doing this type of work and the quality you put into this type of work. i love watching these videos. i do not mess with Soldor at all, but maybe one day i wont even have think about it watching these videos. such Detail.
I was wondering, when you started, where did you get your practice boards to learn how to do everything, or did you learn the hard way? Thank you for your videos, love them
Alex: Grinds 7 incredibly minuscule pads in 2 seconds without any trouble What a freaking monster man, honestly, the amount of knowledgeable this man has astonishes me

I don't know how you can solder surface mount stuff all day. I do your job and I have been doing it for over 30 years. Nowadays I tend to limit solder work of that intensity to no more than 2 hours a day. Even using fume extracters, good light and magnification this still is an uncomfortable, hot job and is hard work with the levels of concentration needed.
I would definitely love to have a northridge fix in this part of my country... I do try to replicate the same level of super fix solution but i do not have sufiscated tools like you....i admire becoming lik you ....thank you once again...

Im following you from lebanon, and i watch your videos on daily basis, your videos are awesome cheers mate
maybe i missed it on the site, but do you guys sell the screwdriver big boss was using to put the ps4 back together?

Work ethic will go straight to your family, good ethics is important. You work to make money for your a family and some people do not get that if they have no ethics. Keep doing what you are doing and thank you...John

Greetings from Germany. I love to watch your videos. I wouldnt try this on my own, but it is nice to see you doing this. Keep up the good work :)
Nice to learn a little bit about your upbringing and history.
It is a happy day when this channel uploads a new video.
I would definitely love to have a northridge fix in this part of my country...
I do try to replicate the same level of super fix solution but i do not have sufiscated tools like you....i admire becoming lik you ....thank you once again...
