If you're ever looking for a different kind of video to make, I'd love to see a tour of your desk and general repair space. I enjoy seeing how different people layout their work areas and getting a feel for their workflow. It often helps me to improve my own efficiency. Thanks again for all the amazing work you do, both repairing devices and recording the process to teach the world.
Yes please, really good idea, show us your workplace and that can be a good timing to show what tools you're currently using, hot stations soldering stations, etc...

Excellent video as always, go team Northridge Fix. Side note, I love that now that big boss is back he's making you work even harder. Mabey it's time for you and the family to get a vacation too. Perhaps just take the last 2 weeks of the year off for some r&r.
Fun fact ** i used to make the flim the chips come packaged in . My boss was the leader in chip packaging, i made all the molds and plastic thermoforming machines . Even the tiny punches that make the holes on the flim for the pick and place machine. He also invented the round Oscar myer bologna package .
Amazing. Two boards in such a short time. Northridgefix is a machinery on fixing devices. Perfect team, perfect work. Great. Thank you for the little tour at the end and thanks for the video. Greets
The man who never stops to impress and motivates me. I like how you do your repairs soo calm and peaceful. The one thing i wish for is to have 3 things for my small repair business. Hot tweezers, voltage injection machine and the thermal camera. The good book says ask and you shall be given. Am asking for anyone who can help me with the thermal cam and hot tweezers that they are not using. Am from Zambia southern part of Africa.
Love watching your work and learning i took a electronics tech course in high school never was very successful at it but always had an intin electronics repair
Great job sir. Why not investing an adjustable stand for the thermal camera for better handling & more professional as you always does. What a nice job today sir. Keep it up
Good Job. You have to fix your thermal camera stand. you mentioned before that someone offered to 3D print the broken piece. You should fix it in order not to need three hands to work with the motherboard.
Absolutely love you're vids .. I would buy you're products but not financially viable being from the UK but still good work .. keep on going m8 .. not forgetting BIG BOSSSSS X
Those flat top capacitors that explode: in olden days they would scribe an X on the top so the cap would gently burst the top when overpressured. That disappeared about 20 years ago. Now you have to put on safety glasses. Progress?
is a mosfet short always verified by checking the drain? Source, drain, gate seem to be shorted on various videos, is it a matter of knowing how the mosfet works in the circuit? is there any hard and fast rule?
nice business you have Alex i like some of those things you sell but i am unemployed and cant afford them but i love watching you fix those computer boards
Love watching your repairs. It seems like you are always repairing Asus laptop mother boards but never see you doing any of their desktop mother boards. Do they use cheaper components on their laptop motherboards or could it be because laptops tend to run hotter?
maybe someone can answer this question? seems solder under mosfet is one huge glob without discreet connection points yet when reattached all is ok. does the solder under mosfet rearrange itself to the correct places?
Hello! Quick question, for a person who is going into this micro repair world would you recommed a microscope or magnifing glasses to solder? Thank you very much
Forgot the Fume Extractor... I can hear the phone ringing form your mother calling from here! Just joking, love your vids! I've binge watched nearly 2 years of videos and get excited every time I see a new one!
🤣 When you send Alex your failed repair attempt best believe he's gonna be like that guy from Showtime at the Apollo with his hook to pull you off the stage haha 💯✌️
I hope to one day be able to afford a thermal camera, such a pain trying to trace shorts without. Although, even if I had one, I don't think I could ever be as efficient as you.
got a bit of a god mode going on there . people are trying to fix it them self's because not having the money or not having the money to pay some one like you .as you know it isn't going to be cheap as some one as skilled as you know
Amazing job as always ! i have the same laptop so it is very interesting to see what components fail in them. Love your videos always interesting to watch i wish you all the best and keep up the good work.
Repair work is probably one of the few jobs that you can do over and over again and still get happy and surprised when the device turns on.

"and we'll do sth else in the next video" is the most honest ending I ever heard. Love your stuff. It's so relaxing. And educational.
I love that Alex’s dad works there. So cool to see a multi generation company growing, doing REAL WORK!
I should be sleeping, but yet I am watching Alex and Big boss fix 2 laptops. They could not have done it without me! 🤣
Have you considered mounting the thermal camera overhead on a flexible arm so you have a free hand to do your work?
Thanks!
i love the big boss when he press the button wand turn on the laptop he said " besm ALLAH بسم الله " big love to u brother
I love it when Big Boss says بسم الله while he turn on the device.

Love watching your repairs. It seems like you are always repairing Asus laptop mother boards but never see you doing any of their desktop mother boards. Do they use cheaper components on their laptop motherboards or could it be because laptops tend to run hotter?
He mentioned Asus shows up the most, second I kinda forgot which one Acer, dell or hp, the least is Lenovo.
Its because desktop boards are cheaper to buy new ones....
Laptop boards can range 300 - 700 dollars.
Desktop boards easily in the 100-200 range.
@@TechProFury Good point .
You are Awesome! Keep it up .
God bless you . 😊
What do you use for the cotton swab container?
maybe someone can answer this question? seems solder under mosfet is one huge glob without discreet connection points yet when reattached all is ok. does the solder under mosfet rearrange itself to the correct places?
Hoping that Big Boss had a nice vacation. Now re-charged he is able to over-load you :)

people are trying to fix it them self's because not having the money or not having the money to pay some one like you .as you know it isn't going to be cheap as some one as skilled as you know
How do you determine what the capacity is of the cap being replaced?
